What happened to the prior listing of character statistics in Undertale?

I'm not talking about tiering so-much as I'm talking about the in-game statistics.

Wasn't Undyne's attack stat 7? Why is it suddenly 50? And Papyrus now has 20 ATK and DEF...


Was there some sort of update to the game that I missed? I know Temmie now goes by "Tem outta Tem" after an update, but if it's not, and we're just using the coding to get their actual attack-power, isn't that using game mechanics over the presented numbers given by the narrative?

On a related note, apparently Papyrus has a new line if you stop your Genocide run at him and check out his bone attacks.

"HAD I ONLY USED MY SPECIAL ATTACK, YOU SURELY WOULD HAVE BEEN BLASTED TO... WAIT, WHERE'S MY SPECIAL ATTACK?"

So I guess Paps has Blasters.
