Tumma Linna RP Thread

"Good" Marsh took his ax to make multiple attacks in an attempt to smash it.
As he carved a hole through the boulder, he got to hear some footsteps as well as the sound of something winding up. However, it was too late and as he finally formed a hole big enough to see through, he got the glimpse of something humanoid fleeing as well as a loaded ballista.

As well as the bolt being fired right at him

Marsh moves quickly to dodge, pushing Fhian as well so that she is not in danger.

Fhian followed suit slowly, tiptoeing even as she wanted to avoid any rubble.
As they followed along the path where the boulder has been rolling, they eventually came across the first group in the distance. The light made it difficult to see. The same could be said for them.

"Hey, I think they're over there!" Caron commented

Fhian tried to use her compass to confirm if it's them, wanting to see if their some illusion made by that bastard to trick her or if they're the real real ones.

"goblins in You?" He yelled, pointing out that it is more important to stay away from the enemy than worry about simple clothing (Yes, the dialogue was inspired by Goblin Slayer)

The sheer amount of goblins dropping in at once put too much strain on the floor and just like before, it collapsed once again, sending everyone in the hallway tumbling down into a darker section of the maze

Marsh take Fhian use his body as a shield to protect the girl from the impact since she was the closest to him, taking all the damage.

"Aeughh," Fhian exclaimed, shooing away any form of bad smell.
Looking around with what faint light that was around, they seemed to be in a garbage disposal room of some sort

Meanwhile on the other end of the room...

"Ugh, my head. Are you all alright?" Caron commented in pain.

Gideon, still recovering from the fall, scanned the dimly lit surroundings.

He heard Caron's voice nearby, expressing her discomfort.
"Nothing my healing can't handle." Gideon replied, rubbing his sore shoulder.

"Good, I think Mayel is over there. We need to find-" Caron replied before hearing something close by. Loud thumps followed by the skittering of limbs and metal is heard in the darkness. A gigantic silhouette can be seen in the dim area getting closer and closer.

"Light it up. Light it up now!" the acidic warrior said in panic as she quickly reached for her greatsword.

Marsh stands up, well he had already been soaked with blood, now he could say that the only thing different is the smell, standing he takes his weapon and tries to get his bearings.

Gideon immediately understood the urgency in Caron's voice.
A radiant light burst forth, illuminating the area.
Standing before them was a horrifying gigantic mass of goblins, their limbs and bodies intertwined with the junk all around them, causing them develop imperfectly and become... this thing.

It screeched at the sight of the light as a part of its mass threw itself forward before detaching with a painful rip, this mass barreling at the survivors

Around him, some sounds of scurrying and running can be heard with small shadows seemingly encircling them

Mayel got up to quickly move out of the way of the rapidly approaching goblin mass.

The mass began skittering towards him while the main mass slammed a part of its body to the side of the wall.

"I don't think we can fight this thing. Come on, there's gotta be another way around this thing!" Caron said, the exit still behind them
Marsh swung his axe, driving away what he thought were the goblins.
Some snickers were heard, followed by a chunk of rusted metal flying right at him

Mayel began to run as fast as possible in the opposite direction of the goblins towards the exit.
