Heaven's Dogma (RP Thread)

"Ahem.", Taiga announced his presence while standing by the entrance of the storage room.

"You're done doing business yet? The others are looking for us."
Nimah casually ran her fingers along the grimy mix of currency she had collected from her client — a hodgepodge collection of rough pieces of gold and antique coins — feeling their contours and mulling over whether or not they were counterfeit. They seemed genuine enough; he probably drudged it from the acid sea before she came or perhaps had it on his person before being swallowed. Regardless, it was more than enough to get herself a proper meal. She had almost ignored the man in her contemplation, glancing up and flashing him a dull smile.

"There ain't'a reason for me to be on call, lest we leavin'." She said plainly. "Somethin' happen?"

"Of course. Anything is possible, but the odds of success depend on who we're dealing with today.", he said while quickly putting all of his stuff back in his suitcase and taking out a... normal looking wooden cane.

"Let's go now. We're gathering everyone as you suggested.", the man said as he stood up from the floor.
"R-right...!" Aurum said, a small smile on her face as she took one last look of the area around her, a bit of sadness in her eyes knowing the bloodshed there would be here soon

"I don't know. Big bro just said that we should watch our backs and come back to him ASAP. I haven't seen or heard anything out of place yet, but it's better to be safe than sorry.", he answered.
