Tumma Linna RP Thread

"I just wanna know... But, welp... <shrugs>" she followed.
"Well essentially, they were one of the many producers of ore during the Great War, growing rich because of it and being relatively safe due to their lack of proximity against the war" Maria began to explain.

That second part was removed after The Assimilation with them facing their first monster attacks after long. Worse still due to their bustling population and trade, many more monsters begin to emerge in their proximity, cutting them out from trade, their most lucrative way of gaining money. As a result, many "adjustments" need to be made in order to survive and even after much of the monster population has been driven out, this place still remains mostly avoided.

"There you go"

Thought process: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

"There you go"
Soon, Fhian stopped thinking.

"eh."

Soon, Fhian stopped thinking.

"eh."
"I had such high hopes..." Maria sighed before noticing what she was looking for, the city's guild. She quickly led her companion there, finding it to be mostly empty save for a person on the receptionist desk.

"Greetings, ma'am. We're the representatives from Tärkein. Can you give a rundown on this quest?" Maria asked, handing over a particular piece of documentation

"ah...." It took a while before her brain restarted.

Fhinbows TuuP... Starting....

"ah...." It took a while before her brain restarted.
"We don't exactly have that big of a guild for reasons you can probably guess" the receptionist explained before pointing at a map.

"I suggest you check the South East area of the city. Mind you, there have been loud noise reports coming from the area so it may be related".

Maria nodded, taking a copy of the map with her and leading her companion out along with her.

Fhian take a good look of the map, tilted her head, and went along.
After hours of passing by the ashen streets and dreary workers, the two eventually came along the place, finding it a housing district where many return home after hours of backbreaking labor.

"Sounds.. <groan>.. easy enough..." she tilted her head, cracking her knuckle.
The two hung around throughout the day, walking by the many streets present and finding nothing in particular of use. Hours passed by and eventually, the sun began to set though with all the factories around, it was hard to tell.

Yet through the smoke and sound of heavy machinery, eventually something could be heard. A flash of light from some sort of spotlight along with the beating of what seemed to be a drum permeated from a distant street, still within the sight of the two mercenaries

"Oh... we're on to something..."

"Oh... we're on to something..."
"Indeed we are. Keep your head down" Maria replied, bringing her along to the location though the closer they get, the more misleading all of it began to seem. The place seemingly grew brighter, the sounds coming from various directions, leaving the two uncertain of where to go. During the chase, the administrator found herself separated from her companion as she wandered off on her own.

Soon more noises are heard but they were a lot more... distinguishable. It wasn't just sound, it was... speech?

Quickly Fhian found herself blinded by spotlights for a moment and upon recovering, she found herself standing before a dark stage, a humanoid figure standing within

(OK @thelegend27, that's your cue)

"Ah, not again..."

With the thought of her precious fabric being stained, she readies her sword but realizes that it too would be dirtied, so she summoned chains around her in a form of a barrier, alongside a mysterious compass.

Quickly Fhian found herself blinded by spotlights for a moment and upon recovering, she found herself standing before a dark stage, a humanoid figure standing within
"Eek! What now..."

"Ehhh...." she couldn't quite put a ring on what on Earth this guy just did, "Huh?"
(Yo, 100th comment!)

For a moment, a frown appeared on the man's face before shaking it off

"Ah, a fool. Well, nevermind that. This show is meant for all! Human and otherwise, rich and poor, ladies, gentlemen, and anyone in-between! Sit down and enjoy this show!"

(Sheesh, congratulations man!)

She couldn't even find words on what to do, so she just crossed her arms and stared at them with a sigh.

"Now to begin, let's start with a classic!" Mayel said, pulling a wooden crate from behind himself with a single hole on its side and two openings on the top and the side. He leapt into the air and with a flip, entered said crate, his head sticking out before his arm came out of the opening, pulling up a box filled with swords

Fhian could try and laugh this whole sequence off like a comedy show. But realizing something of "importance" are on stake, she couldn't help but try to take it just a little serious.

"If those swords ever manage to stain these [clothes]. I swear I'll behead him.." said in her thoughts.

Mayel began by taking one of such swords, showing it to his single audience, revealing its shine before scraping it against the crate, showing no resistance and indicating its sharpness.

In one fell swoop, he impaled the sword into the middle of the crate, his expression unchanging

"Du heck is he doing? Something's already off about him... What now?"

"Du heck is he doing? Something's already off about him... What now?"
Mayel began to smile at the sight of his one confused audience. Enthusiastically, he picked up more swords at a quicker pace, impaling them all over at speeds that continue to increase

"Yep! That's the go signal!"

And so, with the lights turning off, Fhian turned around and book the hell out of it— running like a germ monster was coming for her clothes.
Exiting the room however, she instead felt the ground growing softer below her

"Crap!"

She opted for a next option: make a runway using her golden chains in midair, still running away as fast as she can.
Her route began to shrink into a hallway, cackling going on in the background. A single door opened in the end ever so slightly with light shining through it

She didn't want to look back— never. But seeing the light made her run even faster, full-on sprinting as she ducked forward like it would increase her speed, hyping herself.

Crashing through the door, she instead found herself in a foggy area, the soft ground revealing itself to just be dirt
