Tumma Linna RP Thread

Maria's urgent plea reverberated through the bustling bar, instantly capturing Gideon's attention. His stormy gray eyes snapped towards her, narrowing with a mix of curiosity and concern. He had learned to anticipate the unexpected whenever Maria called upon him.

Without missing a beat, Gideon rose from his seat, his movements swift and fluid. The lively energy of the bar seemed to part around him, as if the patrons sensed the gravity of the moment, creating a path for him to navigate through the crowd with ease.

Approaching Maria, Gideon's voice carried a note of intrigue and focused intent. "What's the situation?" he inquired, his tone laced with genuine concern and a hint of detached curiosity. His eyes scanned the wounded figure she cradled, taking in the visible signs of pain and weariness etched upon their face. The lines of his own expression softened subtly, a glimmer of empathy seeping through his cool exterior.

Drawing closer, Gideon's voice dropped to a more intimate level. "Looks like you've brought someone in need of more than a bandage"

"Honestly, I'd be impressed if I could find one who'd do with just a bandage" Maria replied before putting Fhian down.

"Paralysis after fighting against zombies. Probably tetanus, I'll leave this to you".

"Okie-dokie"

Gideon Gideon held out his hands, his palms emanating a warm, comforting glow.
"Let's see what we can do about this paralysis, shall we?" he quipped, his tone filled with a blend of confidence and reassurance.

In a matter of moments, the paralyzed limbs began to respond, a flicker of movement coursing through Fhian's body. The tight grip of paralysis loosened as Gideon's healing worked its magic. It was as if time itself accelerated, fast-forwarding the healing process to restore mobility and vitality.

As the healing process concluded, Gideon stepped back, a look of satisfaction gracing his features. "There we go, good as new"

"Thanks, uhh... s-sir Gideon..."

Her head was locked with the floor, still worried about her clothes. She slumped over and placed both hands on one of her legs, twiddling her thumbs.

"If you need to clean your clothes, there is a room for that. Just place it in the barrel, fill it water, and wait. It should come out clean" Maria explained, pointing at another room.

Gideon shrugged. "Just Gideon is fine," he replied casually.
With a dismissive wave of his hand, he continued, "Don't sweat it. Helping out is what I do."
Fhian shook her head, shifting to look at her dirtied clothes, saying "This won't do..."

Her face craned at Maria, her eyes slightly weary, "These clothes... it just won't do..." she murmured.

"Well, we have a number of options. There's a changing room along with a number of uniforms you can pick from. Once you're satisfied, you may choose it" Maria explained, pointing at another room.

"That quick?"

Much to her surprise, the clothes were all the more enticing. Making her way downtown, walking fast, faces past and I'm homebound, Fhian made inside the changing room...
A few minutes passed which Maria spent finishing up some details on paperwork

Fhian took deep breaths looking at each piece of clothing presented to her, eyes beaming with light as she examined each. Like a kid receiving gifts on Christmas, she wandered around the halls- dancing, spinning, baltering, and all, jumping only to hit her face at the ceiling. For minutes, she mauled through them, only a kid could get so excited.

But not her, as she rubbed her face across all clothes she considered "comfy".

Finding which ones to wear, she went for an excellent fit- one that is somewhat the same as her old clothes. Of course, they were leagues better than that piece of rubbish: White raglan sleeves covered with a black corset and sleeves, open pale dress revealing her black pants- all adorned with all sorts of bluish gems and jewels. Her hairpiece now changed into a more floral pattern alongside earrings with the same color as the jewels.

"Yo..." with finger guns at her hip, she greets Maria and Gideon. "The clothes here look sick!" posing in front of them like a fashionista.

"Glad you like it. Try not to tear or break it" Maria explained.

"Now, lets discuss the basics of this job. Sit down here"

"Mind make my weapon be this sick too, would kinda nice..."
"Now, lets discuss the basics of this job. Sit down here"
"Aight..."

Fhian shifted the dress gently, her hands coming in contact with the oh-so beautiful fabric she loves, moving it before taking a seat. I don't really know if she knew how to sit like this, but maybe because she had seen most decent women do it, so why not her?

"There have been reports of disappearances and murders in the city of Esitys recently. I'll be overseeing you as bureaucracy is needed for this mission" Maria explained, circling a portion of the map.

"If you do your job well, we can work together. So do your best".

"<snicker> You sure this won't dirty my clothes again?"

"There are a lot of things harder to wash off than just dirt~" Maria replied.

"Anyway, lets get going! We'll miss the stagecoach if we take too long. Gideon, you're in charge until I come back"

"O-okay..." scratching her hair, she played along, grabbing a brand new sword — one adorned with blue gems and gold chains— from the rack.

"Good choice" Maria complimented, leading her companion outside, silencing the crowds once again until the two exited, eventually arriving at a station. There the administrator showed her documentation, earning the two a ticket and a seat to wait for the next stagecoach

Inner thouhts: "Sheesh, this woman... this woman sure is scary..."

The stagecoach soon stopped in front of them, the horses hairless and bearing sharp teeth visible on the occasional time they gnash it from underneath their muzzles. The man controlling the horses appeared to be hunched with his clothes old and worn, his eyes looking around nervously.

Maria simply handed over the tickets, earning her and her companion a place in the coach

"Ohh, so that's how it works..."

Nods she did, tilting her head here and there, as if scanning the carriage like a QR code.

Doing as they told, Fhian board the on-land horse boat, ready to sail the soil.
The road was long and miserable with many bumps in the road and passing many encampments, most wrecked and torn asunder. They smelled of either smoke or of rotting flesh, the result of casting people out into this apocalyptic wasteland. Occasionally there would be a scream accompanying a bump, followed by the old man ranting at his horses as they chewed at the flesh of those they bumped into.

Eventually however, they arrived at the fringes of the city

As if on cue, there'd be some "yucks" or "eww" of Fhian flinching in disgust, seeing how it could dirty her very oh so very precious clothes.
Eventually however, they arrived at the fringes of the city
"Oh..."

"Esitys, I remember reading up on their records. They used to be a bustling city thriving on the fruits of their mining companies. It's a shame what happened to them" Maria explained as they entered the city, finding it to be a smog filled waste with many factories and poorly made residences lining the street, rows of miners coming and going across the street.

Eventually the stagecoach stopped at the station, the two passengers dropping off

"What happened?" she asked, tilting her head as she got off nice and slow.
