I don't think Mac is as physically strong as Sandman though? I mean Sandman is a big dude so...yeeeah...
i don't think that works. He just so happens to be able to take Sandman punches for the sake of gameplay I'd assume, but I dunno.

I guess we could say Mac is a Stone Wall then since he can take those hits. Also, it's only game mechanics if it's shown to be different outside of the game. If Mac tried to punch Sandman in a cutscene, for example, and it did nothing, then it'd just be game mechanics since he can damage him in-game.
