But yeah pretty much, he gets stronger from the violence of man, his own rage and how many blows he strikes.
That said Kratos has the AP edge but Ares just has way more hax.
He can BFR into his dimension, will him to die, slow down time and literally everything Kratos does will empower Ares

Considering he didn't resist getting BFRed and he has no teleportation, doesn't really matter.
And I merely said that Ares in GoW did none of that, nor did he get empowered by War as far as we know. We don't scale Greek Kratos' resistance to Norse Kratos' resistance either as far as I can see, so no resisting from him.

Late reply I know but no. Kratos never resisted BFR. This ignores how Ares has three times of amping himself and a shit ton more hax
