I honestly don't know why the wiki treats FTL time travel as any different from sheer speed time travel. Both do time travel through sheer speed, which clearly puts them beyond linear measurements of speed.

But alright Ig. It's still effectively the same exact thing. Time travelling through sheer speed.
I mean the difference is that comic Flash can go FTL without time travelling. DCEU Flash time travels the moments he surpasses lightspeed.

The Flashes are still getting Tier 2 through environmental destruction right?
Yes. 2-C Environmental Destruction.

I'm saying that in terms of speed, the thing we're rating, they are both the same thing.

The verse mechanics shouldn't really have to do with the rating. If a character goes fast enough that they begin running through time, it's still beyond linear speed, no matter the verse's mechanics.

That's my opinion, anyway.

I think an Immeasurable rating could be applied to when he's inside the Chronobowl. It's clearly stated that going FTL is what causes him to travel through time, be it through reversing time or the Chronobowl, but whenever he's inside the Chronobowl he can decelerate or even stop to a halt, which would indicate that he's no longer limited by the traditional notion of linear speed, at least compared to his ZSJL's time travel, where he's shown to reverse time as he runs towards the nuclear tower.

I think, but I'm not sure.

So, this movie is supposed to completely reset the DCEU, right?

Yeah, I think this is the last DCEU film? Idk about Aquaman 2. James Gunn keeps on saying Blue Beetle is the first DCU film but doesn't mention it in his roster.

Judging by the movie's end, yes. It seems like Blue Beetle is going to be the first DCU Character (confirmed by James Gunn, although he maintains that Superman: Legacy is the first true DCU movie) while Aquaman, at least judging by the post-credits scene, might be set in the new alternate timeline seen at the end of The Flash (NippleVerse) depending on how well it performs.

Either way, the original DCEU, that started with MoS has ended.
RIP DCEU (2013-2023)

I watch absolute dogshit, like American Poltergeist and Plan 9 from Outer Space, daily. So I kind of have a different standard when it comes to bad/average films.
  1. The Suicide Squad - 7.5/10
  2. Wonder Woman - 7/10
  3. Man of Steel - 7/10
  4. Shazam - 6.5/10
  5. Flash - 6.5/10
  6. Birds of Prey 6.5/10
  7. Aquaman - 6/10
  8. Josstice League - 6/10
  9. Suicide Squad - 6/10
  10. BvS - 5/10 (I will never get over how ******* boring the theatrical edition was)
I know for a fact that I've watched WW 1984, but I can't remember even a single detail about it. So, uh, 11/10, I guess.

For me:

1. The Suicide Squad (9/10)
2. ZSJL (8/10)
3. BvS Director's Cut (8/10, the theatrical release would be 6/10)
4. Man of Steel (8/10)
5. Wonder Woman (7-8/10)
6. Aquaman (7-8/10)
7. Shazam (6/10)
8. Birds of Prey (5/10)
9. Black Adam (Only for Doctor Fate, the Paint It Black scene aka the only genuinely very good scene in the movie and some action sequences) -/- The Flash (Can't decide which one is worse and which one is better honestly) (4/10)
10. Shazam 2 (Only positive things are the mythological side and the rather good action sequences) (3/10)
11. WW84 (3/10)
12. Suicide Squad (2/10, the two points being shared between the costumes, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis as Waller, some songs and a bit of the intro)
13. Warner League (1/10, could literally find only five positive things to say about it and that includes small details. Some of the CW Flash's worst moments felt better than this shit)

If only they've still let Snyder cook, they could've been more successful with this franchise

Idk man, seeing what he had in plan, I'm glad he didn't cook. Bro's franchise was doomed from the moment he tried to do BvS right after Man of Steel with little build up.

Blud wanted to make the Olympians connected to Kryptonians and have Lois cheat on Clark with Bruce.

This I honestly didn't like. Lois going with Bruce could have worked but saying the Olympians were kryptonians was just a bad idea. Not to mention it makes them too similar to what the MCU did with the Asgardians

This movie is one of the movies of all time.

Anywho, Bruce lays out the universe stuff pretty clearly. Some universes can be very similar, others not so much. When Barry 1 changed the past, he created an intersection with a separate universe, one that shares many similarities with the main universe. That means everything outside of that point is different. Different past, different Future.

Regardless, everything seems to be par for the course as far as scaling is concerned. The "league" Barry 1 forms is stated to be a "far cry" from the one that took on Steppenwolf. Superman was like all of the power in the main league, but here Supergirl can outmuscle Zod. That really puts into perspective how strong Superman has gotten. Kara couldn't break through a Kryptonian ship, but that was nothing for EoS MoS Superman.

Speed wise, things do seen to be a bit funny. Faora wasn't anything bad, and Barry 2 made it clear there is a speed difference, but Zod seemed to match Barry 2's speed in that twister. He even has precog of sorts when he's killing Supergirl during one attempt. That aside, this movie does in the FTL scaling for me. Amanda Waller lists Flash as being CAPABLE of moving at lightspeed. Barry 1 says he doesn't like to go lightspeed because time gets affected in a weird way. Bruce kind of implies that going faster than light (and time traveling) is questionable. That means Barry simply does not run at lightspeed on the regular. Kryptonian heat vision being lightspeed was always questionable with Batman being able to dodge it, 3 times. I'm 90% sure nothing else even states it is red light.

This is why Bruce doesn't hang out with Barry. ******* hell.
Bro needs those calories

mmm-tasty.gif

The thing is he was cooking until he said cheese lol.

Ah yes Hideo Kojima, the guy who isn't arrogant at all and didn't make one of the most needlessly overhyped and ultimately very meh games in recent years aka Death-I'm so profound, I'm perfect, I don't have any flaw, you don't have the right to not like me" Stranding

I'm not reading all that

I just don't think Kojima is a genius and thought Death Stranding was overhyped for nothing (and I admit, I have a tendency to be annoyed when something gets hyped up and treated as a masterpierce just because someone in particular made it, even though it's full of flaws. Like Avatar 2)
