I'm so glad they won't be trying to set up future DCU entries through this movie. One of the biggest DCEU pitfalls imo was trying to force a cinematic universe into being without organically setting it up slowly. Non-intrusive Easter eggs are perfectly fine tho ofc.

I bet the “two moments” Gunn mentioned are just going to be Flag Sr. appearing as the head of A.R.G.U.S., tying into Peacemaker, and Supergirl having a cameo. That’s setup that wouldn’t be out of place in a Superman movie.

Technically yes. It’s loose/semi-canon, and it’s been confirmed that the actor is returning as Blue Beetle in the DCU and they’re doing an animated series that continues from where the movie left off.

The movie is still technically in a different continuity though, so any scaling to it would probably need a possibly/likely rating unless the Scarab destroying a planet gets explicitly referenced in a DCU project.

Nicholas Hoult looks a bit uncanny as Lex Luthor lol, but he's a very good actor, so I'm sure he'll do a great job. He's giving me the vibe that he'll portray Luthor's salty man nature very well lol.

No real dialogue, just pure emotion and thrill with beautiful imagery and increduble music. I'm sold.

Also, Hoult as Luthor looks surprisingly convincing. I'm ready.

It’s definitely gotten overshadowed by the Superman teaser, but today’s episode of Creature Commandos was pretty good.

Scaling-wise, it’s looking like the whole crew will be 9-B, as Frankenstein and Weasel both show feats on that level. Flag is also shown to scale to Frankenstein, so those two as well as Phosphorus and the Bride (who scale to them, respectively) are all roughly comparable.

Orange flames range from around 1100°C to 1200°C so we'll use 1150°C as our median. The 2024 average global temperature is 17.16°C so our temp change is 1132.84°C.

We'll use this calculator to get our air density at 17.16°C for outdoors and 20°C for room temperature (which would be 1.216 kg/m3) as well as this one for the air specific heat at these temperatures

It should be noted that Flag Sr. was only really able to hurt Eric via a kick to the nuts and a threatening to shoot him through the eye (To which he theorized wasn't as durbable as the rest of him)
