Also, who says it should? We know nothing about the rules of time travel in OPM, except that Saitama (the time traveller) did it and merged with his past self.

I never implied that he could?

I was simply stating that, just as Gravity Knuckles became a part of his moveset after copying Blast, Mode:Saitama, or at least the abilities related to that mode such as normal consecutive punches, also became a part of his moveset.

I hope Saitama keeps his memories or at least remembers next chapter. At least if the entire arc was revealed to be a bad dream he could have some minor character developmemt thinking about it. If nothing has changed for his character development and physical development then it might as well be pointless.

Plus, Saitama and Garou kept evolving and Saitama reached a level nobody else could measure. They should both auto scale regardless tbh.
