To be fair there's no proof either way. There's not enough evidence in the story to prove weather she knew the full extent or not. But there is nothing proving she knew HE full power except with speculation.

Eh, VFU's acid only did 'meager' damage. Darkshine could have given VFU a good fight at least, but he broke down when his muscles started to lose their shine.

The bigger factor to this, that the webcomic was more clear about, BS cannot unfuse. Once he has created a fuse body that is it.
Its his trump card because he can only every use the move once and in one direction. He can fuse more thing into that new body but that new body cannot unfuse. He obviously doesn't like his fused forms and there's no real indication that he would ever use it outside of a high risk situation like what's happening now.
Personally Orochi scaling is fine imo. Not that he really needs to considering he's already High 6-C. GS I wouldn't scale at all until we get an indication that Murata's quote from forever ago holds up or we get a confirmation that GS ~ Orochi.
Also if I missed something and this is like, a debate. There's.... really nothing for HE. Its like HE vs Carnage Kabuto or Beefcake. Sure his energy balls are strong but them literally breathing in his direction is enough to instantly kill him. Orochi could like, clap his butt checks and the shockwaves could probably OHKO HE.

Is it possible to scale his durability with the balls? When he did the carpet bombing he created a barrier of moving balls around himself for protection.

To be fair Murata never said Golden Sperm = Orochi. He only said he doesn't know who would win as he needs to ask ONE about this. So it's less of Murata saying they are equal but more of him saying he actually doesn't know who is stronger between Golden Sperm and Orochi.
