So whether Golden King was in his ultra massive form or not probably became irrelavant due to the fact that Tesla is now stable and his powerlevel have also become more definite

M's motives are explained in Sharnoth itself. When he's not busy thinking of Golden Eyes, he looks for the one human who won't give up. Trapping all humans within his domain is just a side effect in the long run. Plus, Baron's wish of dumping all of humanity into Sharnoth is kind of his reason for existing, and M may just be playing along.MagiSinbad said:So... i have finished Shikkoku no Sharnoth recently. It was a good Visual Novel, Although i kinda dissapointed since there's no romance development between M and Mary
well, i guess we cant hope much for a guy who forgot how to feel. But until the very end, they still didnt explain what is M's motive for trapping the humanity in Sharnoth. Did they explained it in CD Drama ?
Also, anybody know where does Leo, <<The Omnipotent man>> ( In Sharnoth Webnovel )stand in the verse ? He look like an interesting character to know more about.

Yeah, the next would be Gahkthun.Celestial Pegasus said:That will have to be answered by Trex since i have no clue.
Btw is sharnoth, the only one of the series you have played?
Nah o3o i'm the guy who save the best for the last. And since people say Inganock has the best stories among Steampunk series, i think i would give Gahkthun a go firstCelestial Pegasus said:If you wanted to go with chronologically, it would go inganock>sharnoth>gahkthun.
You can buy Gakhthun of Golden lightning on steam. The other 2 translated games are fan translation, so you pretty much can get them right now.Rocker1189 said:I just want to know, where do you guys get this VN series from?
Also is there a lot of action?
They imply it in a Sharnoth story of the Steampunk Full Voice Fandisk, in a conversation between M and Moran. Where he talks about the Tick Tock Man, and he explains that they share the same "god's name". The story basically confirms M (Black King) to be the Nyarlathotep of the Steampunk World, while Tick Tock Man is the Nyarlathotep that hails from the Historical World. Plus, I also own the Rough Guide to Steampunk, which outright calls M and Baron Nyarlathotep.MagiSinbad said:@Trex What does WIC stand for ? Also thank for the explaination, Trex. But could you tell me when did they say M and Baron being incarnations of Nyarlathotep ? Up until the end, the VN only said they are 2 half of the Black King but no mention of The outer god Nyarlathotep.
Also, i kinda shocked on how nobody talk about HP Lovecraft of WAB series and how "top-tier Husbando" he is in the story : a talented trader, rich, cunning and experienced in dealing with the dark organization, he's even has a legal loli fiancee. Too bad he dont have any interaction with the Cthulhu mythos deities.
Thanks. where do I get the other 2?MagiSinbad said:You can buy Gakhthun of Golden lightning on steam. The other 2 translated games are fan translation, so you pretty much can get them right now.
That is true, but I am too lazyLady Ashford said:There's this nifty technology called the internet
Well, dont know much about Edison, but his theme alone already made him a badass cosmic horror villain owoQliphoth Bacikal said:I'm just expecting to see what makes Edison so good as a character (in a villain sense, that is).
Veamos...Extreme123dz said:I have a question.
Now i have Gahkthun, Sharnoth and Inganock, so... of the three, what is the recommended to start?
How are these works connected?
Is there extra material to read on the internet? like blogs, secondary stories or side stories, Gaidens, precuels, etc?
It is the 1900s. Celenaria happens in 1902. Tyrhhia's set even earlier in the 1800s, in a mostly pre-Engine tech Japan. Though I still haven't played that game, so I dunno what to make of it.Lady Ashford said:Just got off the train and i'm really tired, so i cannot really make an effort post. But you can start with what you want. I personally started playing Steampunk with Inganock myself. The works are connected in a sense that they happened in the same setting (though Inganock happened in Kadath while Gahkthun and Sharnoth happened in Earth) and events that happened in each game also happened in the same order the games were released (Celenaria happened in 19X2, Inganock happened in 19X3, things like that; but i don't remember the exact year)
Regarding side materials, each VN have a post story WN that tease about the next VN in line (Sharnoth WN giving teaser to Valusia for example). And there are supposedly some fandisc as well. But i don't really know about that. And if i recall correctly, Sakurai also has her own blog, but i might be wrong.
