@Trex: Is there anyone else in particular that also happens to be a strong member of the WIC/Society? You told me Thoth was the leader of them all which might entail his status and power but isn't that guy missing all over the place?

Also, did Sakurai ever get into detail regarding the Old Ones that M rules over (or once have ruled over)?

I normally consider Gahkthun's Golden King to be WIC's strongest member aside from someone who's already defected, Baron, and Thoth. Who's the greatest mystery of the series, and already kicked the Golden King's ass. And even after his power up, the Rose King still sings his praises.

Obviously she did. Dagon is one of them, Valusia features them to some degree, Tesla fused with one, etc.

A friend told me that the spirit that Iru fished out off the river is an Old One or at least used to be one. Is this true?

Machine Spirits in Inganock are related to Old Ones yes. How? I don't really remember tbh

Ah. So take in Baron who defected and Thoth who GK praised sort of, and you havr GK as being the 3rd strongest. Take those two out and you're left with him as the strongest. Noice.

Aye, there's that. Was wondering if she had made any other named ones as of date but that seems pretty few for those that belonged to M's country once.

Hundreds of thousands of old ones should exist, but seems only a few have shown up.

Speaking of Baron, good to know where he stands, as well being an avator/aspect of M that is the King of Sharnoth, i didn't think he equalled him in strength.

Some day we will have to add keys for M, like Baron and agent M.

Baron is just a split personality of the Black King, of course he's equal to M. They are literally the same being. It's just a personality split that came about after they possessed the Professor's/Moriarty's body.

Well, good to know, sort of forgot about the whole possessing moriarty stuff.

Btw shouldn't M have possession then?

Sorry for the late reply, been away for a vacation with my familly.

@Celestial

well, since this is fiction, i'm not really surprise if M can manipulate time on a conceptual level while dont have a concept of time :P beside, we have Golden King who can atomizing the conceptual beings :v

@Qi

lol, seem like Edison is an odd villain huh :P Now i'm even more excited for Sona-nyl.

I'm currently playing Gakhthun right now, gonna leave Inganock for latter, since everyon say it's Sakurai-sensei best work so i'm gonna save it for the last :P

And the M's stuffs is actually i'm trying to help you by gathering scans ^__^" not trying to make a revision

Oh and, may i ask ? What does Oblivion Golden Eye can do ? I heard it's a huge power up for Edison but not much detail about what it can do

@Magi: Ay, Edison's is an odd villain but so is Thoth I would presume. He's odd in the sort of sense that he's the actual true leader of the WIC yet he has never appeared to date in person despite being alive with the only hints of him being there was leaving hints or whatever in each VN...I think.

Thoth honestly gives me as much hype as Edison but seeing as he may not appear until Sakurai decides to write VN where he DOES, Edison will have to cover for me in this place...for now.

Ah the scan gathering help is actually appreciative so no worries ^^;. It is good to get some stuff about M from the VN, although stuff from side-mats and I think post-story stuff are where he gets even more things for him like his galaxy sized Avatars to being stated as a conceptual being beyond space, time, and causality (or it's just those last two or somethin').

That's the thing: We don't know about it. I don't know it. Celestial doesn't know it much. I PRESUME Trexalfa knows it but he never comments on it either because he didn't see it or doesn't recall it much(?). All we know for sure is that it gives Edison a huge buff over M's own natural power, although personally I assumed Edison eating Yog and becoming all of space-time + absorbing or possessing the largest piece of A.Z.T.T would have already made him stronger than M by that point. (Shrugs)

Oblivion Golden Eye= A.Z.T.T.'s largest fragment. Also known as Kadath's moon.

Thoth has appeared on screen in Valusia.

Ooooooh.......so that's what that is....fuuuuuuhhh...

Ah really? Ah nevermind the "Thoth never appearing" thing.

The thing with Thoth is that he is an entity that appears as three separate bodies, each named after one of the Three Wise Men.

His Balthazar Body is in Rome leading the WIC. Since his policy is "do whatever the **** you want", an Acting Leader is necessary to run stuff. Golden King normally
71419
This is the form the Melchior Body of Thoth has in Valusia, Toto

takes this spot, though Professor also did when he was dissappeared.

His Melchior Body appears in Valusia as the little girl Toto. Has no big role whatsoever though. This is not its true appearence, Thoth's Melchior Body can perform body surf in the same way Golden King can IIRC.

His Caspar Body is either on the Moon, or IS the Moon in Underground New York, aka Sona Nyl. It is commonly though that this fraction of Thoth leads Lily during the Sona Nyl Web Novel.

Althothas Thoth Hermes is also speculated to be Thoth Rom, who founded the Northern Central Empire of Kadath.

also didn't thoth also bring was one of the things that brought down edison or was there more to that I am missing?

@Trex: Ah, is that so? And man, what a shitty leader to have such a policy that he needs an acting leader just to keep things straight around their group xD

But ah, that's pretty cool that he appears somewhat in different forms like GK. Although I do wish he has a true form we can know of or even without it be able to fight so we know how tough this guy really is. FAIK, he's got even GK in his Bell form to sing praises of him or somethin' like that as of rn unless I'm missing something to him.

So......

Other than the fact it's been about over a month since our last talk here, do any of y'all have a favorite soundtrack from any of the available VN's + the one with Sona Nyl (seeing as that's still on its way, albeit still for a long while)?

Gii's Theme, hell yeah.

If I had to go by different VN's, so far it's Right Hand from Behind for Inganock, Foreign or whatever M's stomp theme name is for Sharnoth, Sona Nyl...woo huge ass toss up for several there (most prominent is those of Lily and Edison's), and Knight of Thunder for Gahkthun.

Aye. Sona Nyl's playlist really spot on though for Inganock and Sharnoth, it's not so bad for those two that I've read.

Also to all that are still active with this, on ACT 9 now. So YESH, getting closer and closer to finish LONDON.

right hand from behind is extremely epic. ANd wew nice @QB

It is. Though honestly, it'd be pretty epic as a lenghty-ish hero vs villain battle theme as its mainly one of Gii just tanking and stomping shit (well except the last battle with Kerkan and his encounter with Grimm Grimm in person but yeah).

Aye. So far now I'm past stuff like Moran having her "moment" with M and Howard still getting it to meeting with the few members of The Society in Sharnoth. Ofc, still going to take me a bit longer to get around to finally ending it as I have, once again as told to others around here, major assignments to deal with but it's nothing new as is for everyone here that have the same thing (shrugs).

Big Babbage
Anyone that's ever been on pixiv at least once, found some fanart (or at least I presume it is by the art style of it) of Steampunk Babbage here.

Compare that with Fate's version of Babbage and you see one heck of a difference here lol.

DK why but I've always found the design of these two being so completely different as heck just as it is with Steampunk Tesla and Edison lol.

Kerkan killed iru, from my memory iru apparently had something which was important for kerkan to evolve? As for gii it happened while he was fighting petrovna if i remember correctly.

Don't think there is like an established way to do it, but probably forgetting some details, would have to rewatch the scenes.

Kikai's evolving? Yeah, IDEK about that one.

The bit Celestial explained about it for Kerka probably makes sense but I'm not so sure if that's the only reason for it. Gii's, on the other hand, is a complete unknown.

For this, I'm the same as him as IDK what way one has to go through in order to evolve it.

Also is it just me, or Steampunks Kikai's act like JJBA's Stands only just as broken if not moreso due to their nature?

Nah I meant in that they just remind me of them.

Though they in some way could seeing as some stands from JJBA actually try to protect their users. Thing is, I've never seen any stand nor recall any in JJBA (although granted, it's been a year and half since I last read it) that can tank death inducing, space distorting/rupturing attacks so...

Probably some side material which goes into details about how kikai's evolve.

When comparing the average stand with the average kikai, kikai are more broken since all of them are possibilities.

What precisely are kikais? Just the name of a power that lets the person become like a critter?

Basically 10 years before the series began, a staircase/stairtower? One or the other, which connected to the upper levels of inganock fell on an hospital in the middle levels of ingonock.

At that hispital toys were going to be given to the unborn children there, staircase fell, those children and their parents died, grimm grimm remade the unborn kids and toys as possibilities, the toys being critters, the unborn children being kikai.

So what about people like Dr. Gii and Kerkan? They weren't those children but they have Kikai?

Gii was actually a doctor at that hospital, kerkan's was also at the hospital and his unborn brother died, that brother is lemure lemure.

Kikai's have host, they basically attach to them with an invisbile sting thing, which is one of the only way to deal with a kikai user, sever the connection with the kikai.

Now that i think about it, there might have been some statements about kikai evolving due to the emotions of the host, also the grand prince did conduct experiments which tried to unlock kikai's by messing with ppl's minds or something.

Pretty much what Celestial said just now, yes. Gii and Kerkan as well as numerous other peeps were there when the event happened 10 yrs back.

And yeah, Kikai's have hosts that they use to attach to and...well do whatever like survive with their hosts like Gii's, Kerkan's and others have.

wasnt there also smth about porshion having 2 possibilities as oposed to one?
