[SPOILER] Pokémon SW/SH Thread 3: Ruby and Sapphire... oh wait! [SPOILER]

At the least they should maybe scale somewhat to the Darkest Day? Eternatus did that in base if I recall and they're all essentially being powered by it's power, which would leave a cap of Island level? I dunno.
Gigantamax Pokemons are powered only a tini tiny portion of his power, so they don't scale at all

Hey, so I'm fixing to calculate the Darkest Day that Eternatus caused. I found a way to get the size of Galar via a spot in the Wild Area and the in-game map, whose geography should be trustworthy enough.

Should I go ahead and do it, even though it's incredibly spoilery?

Not just stronger than grown men- stronger than professors.

And we all know professors are sub-rel.

Kudos for anyone who gets what that's a reference to.

So it's been a few days. Should I go ahead and post my calculation? There is a warning at the very top.

My headcanon is it's one of Arceus' thousand hands, or we'll discover a new god above Arceus in Gen 10 or something.

But we already know of Mega Rayquaza

In all seriousness, I'm still under the opinion that infinite power is literal here due to the spatiotemporal passives going around Eternatus.

Mfw Eternatus in the games actually has one of the most impressive displayed feats and speed from scaling to Doggos than anything from the games before aside from UN and it's still shit when compared to the scaling most legendaries get from Lugia and such based only on the Dex entries.

My bad, what i ment to say was: Galar IS Britain

Every region, even from most side games, thus far was just a locations of Earth

Multiple real world nations are present, i.e. China and Guania

we have even globe rappresentations of the world as it being Earth

so yes, we can assume it's the same size

yeah i sure do remember when britan had pokemon centers around and thousands of pokemon running about.

comparable in size is fine for an assumption for galar's size that's fine IMO but assuming it is the EXACT same size is where i draw the line.

Hm. Even with this place's numbers, I doubt said evaluation would promote a number less than Eternatus's high-end here unless Britain being used changes the calc.

Though also to be fair, both the Darkest Day and empowering multiple Pokémon as well as the Doggos (potentially) clearing out the storm are all super casual.

Has already been calced with Britain. The result was either 7-A or 6-C.

(Furthermore, an example in the storm calc, using Japan, which is bigger than Britain, also landed at 6-C)

Lol so the point would still stand, although was the high-high-end for the doggos clearing the storm calculated in that as well? It's kind of iffy but doing that might yield better results?

But yeah, this is a shame. Perhaps the anime will have Eternatus actually doing something even better like making the whole world go dark.

No, just the storm was calced.
