With a flick of her wrist, several spears burst out of the ground in front of Auryx to intercept the blast, shattering them upon impact into hundreds of shards. With another flick, Auryx shot those shards at Rafaam at supersonic speeds, trying to force him back as running was clearly not going to be an option while he was targeting her.

While the rest of the team was cutting straight to the action, Yuri remained a distance away from close combat. Slowly, she would begin to perch her flute up to her lips, deciding at the very least, to assist the team. A vibrant tune would begin to play to the beat of the others' actions. Something, upon listening, would begin to make every hit feel twice as powerful. As if the core of the music was empowering them. But at the same time -- working in reverse for those the music was playing against.

Staying behind the rest of the team and continuing to provide cover fire with his pressurized air bullets, the man would see the forcefields that came up in order to protect Rafaam from his attacks. Intrigue began to pile up in his mind as he wondered what other things Rafaam could do. But for right now, his mind was experimenting, wondering how much force and punishment the shields could take.
