Exactly what it says on the tin, a fight between these two with all of their powers and such available in... I dunno, insert a random city setting here. Who wins? Stating your reasoning would be cool.

I don't know about either of these characters, but taking a quick glance at their profiles, Kirito is quite a bit faster and seems to have better techniques, so I'm going with him.

Supersonic+ with Hypersonic reactions >>> Superhuman with Supersonic reactions.

Also, in-universe, sword skills are said to go "at a speed that is normally near impossible for a player to achieve and dealing much more damage than a regular sword swing" (Vol. 1 Ch. 4)

There are a lot less even match-ups out there than two guys in the same tier, one of whom compensates for lower speed with pretty great endurance/stamina plus a really powerful timeslow. I'd not pull the "bad thread" card so quickly.

Dante makes him helpless with Devil Trigger

It depends on whether he can pull off the Devil Trigger.

He seems to have used it when they were escaping Mundus, frequently slowing time to the point that an airplane was frozen and its properllers were either frozen or not moving. Would be an outlier but his Devil Trigger was strong enough to prevent Mundus from moving on his giant form.

Dante is potentially supersonic too with how he creates what seems to be sonic booms with his air dashes.

Kirito has the initial speed advantage but he really doesn't have an answer for Dante slowing down time with devil trigger.

Going off profiles, I'm also backing Kirito due to his superior speed. His supersonic+ speed trumps Reboot Dante's supersonic reactions, and AP & Durability are otherwise equal.

Kirito easily win this one. Since Dante (DMC) do not have enough durability to withstand first strike.
