Ragnarök-RP Thread

"Oh, you'll be afraid. Not because I want you to be afraid, though." Kill-Gaia said, cackling. "Make whatever decision you want, it doesn't affect me. This was birthed only from my own personal interest."
"While we're here, we will say that this is the most character interaction we've had in a while... And it's from you, of all people. We'll tag along with you," Toyoshi replied, "After all, if there's no one or nothing present to cause disorder, order could be established and nothing else could break it. If you kill everything, there's order, simply because there's a lack of disorder..."

Toyoshi took another sip of tea.

"But you probably don't care for our philosophical musings that much... Though we'd like to get on with our life and not be in a weird section of reality with only a table and tea."

"Oh, I quite enjoy philosophy." Kill-Gaia said as he sipped his tea, "But before I send you back... Tell me. Why did you agree to follow me? You realize the consequences of somebody like King Tiger finding out that your aligned with me, right?"

"He'll get over it," Toyoshi said, not even showing a hint of remorse for her decision, "But if he doesn't, there may need to be a conversation with a man with a... Midas touch, if you will...."

Toyoshi stood up after taking her last sip of tea. Walking over to Kill-Gaia, she eyed the individual.

"Also, you did offer up a free hit," She continued, "We're curious to see if you and Rory are cut from the same cloth..."

"Cut from the same cloth? Whatever could you mean?" Kill-Gaia said, clearly interested.

(Random inner monologue for King Tiger cuz idk what to do with him)

King Tiger, who remained unaware of what was happening with his allies, continued to help around the castle alongside Shalor, keeping himself busy while he tried to figure out a way he could help more substantially.

“Life has gotten so…complex” he mused to himself. In a matter of weeks, he had learned about the existence of ancient gods, higher dimensions, Great evils and long lost civilizations.

and yet, King Tiger chose to pursue the same basic ideals he had since the beginning of his time in dream world. Help the people, promote peace and happiness, and help create a better world for all. Any extra details he learned were subconsciously given less importance. After all, as long as the people in dream world were safe, why should he care what happens in the worlds above him?

and yet, now it’s an unavoidable fact that this has been a foolish outlook. Kill Gaia, in his infinite malice, had plunged the dreamworld into a hellscape, a nightmare nearly beyond his comprehension. For all intents and purposes, King Tiger had failed.

King Tiger was now faced with a problem. Something that could not be solved by heroic quips and powerful attacks alone. Yharim actions had made him realize something. To help the people, it wasn’t enough to simply be strong. It requires knowledge, leadership, skills. King Tiger could boast about his muscles all day long, yet he can’t outmuscle famine. He can’t wrestle with death.

King Tiger continued to be deep and thought as he walked around the castle.

In a faraway corner of the Dream World... A sphere of absurd magnetic force consumed dozens of planets in an instant, yellow electricity violently flashing with light that shone brighter than even the brightest of stars in the observable universe. "My Lord..."

Ahzad immediately sensed this abnormal energy signature, his horns being assaulted with a deep pain that he just couldn't ignore. It wasn't the pain itself that concerned him, but it's cause...

"I am getting an abnormal signal of energy at the corners of this universe. I believe it is worth investigating." Belial dropped his apple juice box into the trashcan, standing up. "What is its source?"

"I believe it to be a calamity of some sort. What type it is, I cannot tell you due to it being unknown..." Belial nodded, "Thank you, Ahzad. You've done well. I'll give you a lap-pillow and some snacks when I get back."

Ahzad's horns twitched joyously, "Thank you, My Lord. It is much appreciated." Belial located the source of the energy, teleporting to it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Now, this is surprising.." Belial said as he stared at the violent surge of power that was being released from the sphere of energy. It was hard for him to even step close to it... "Is it radiation? No, it's similar but it isn't."

The surge of energy alerted the entire universe of its presence and more, continuing to expand in power and influence across the cosmos. "Perhaps this is the source of the chaos?" Belial took a vial of blood, from one of the test subjects. He then threw it towards the energy sphere... Observing how the ripples and space and time were even more chaotic now.

"That confirms it. The cells that are making those people crazy are definitely connected to this thing." Belial said, waiting eventually for someone to notice the abnormal energy and come to check it out as well.

Ahriman teleported beside Belial as well

“Ooh that seems dangerous. What is it?”
"Most likely the source of the chaos. Seems to be a random energy signature that morphs the biology of those who don't resist such abilities, which seems to be the reason people are killing each other."
King Tiger shivered, a sudden, strange feeling had overtaken him. Ripping open a portal through space, he appeared just behind Belial and company.

“what the hell?” King Tiger said, unsettled by the strange energy.
"It's not hell yet." Rory said as she appeared next to Belial, "But it's definitely close..."

“well if that’s the thing that’s causing the madness, eliminating should be our top priority” King Tiger said, determination in his voice.

Clasping his hands together, he created a small black hole in between them, before pushing it forward, the black hole rapidly expanding in an attempt to destroy some of the chaotic energy.
The Black Hole violently collided with the sphere of energy, ripples in time and space becoming literal temporary tears in the fabric of reality as the Black Hole expanded within the sphere of energy. "Interesting..." Belial said as he observed the phenomena...

Suddenly, Belial snapped his fingers which canceled out King Tiger's black hole. "I've figured it out." Belial said as he ruffled his hair, "It's funny how I didn't figure it out sooner..."

"Lord Belial! What is your plan?" The leader of the soldiers said
"Who the hell are you and why do you sound like that?" Belial said, surprised at the soldier speaking to him. "Whatever..." Belial viciously shoved his hand into the sphere of energy, his hand being violently torn up into individual quarks that were scattered across the fabric of reality.

"Hahahaha..!! It's a dimensional singularity. That ****** Kill-Gaia must've left it here... A cluster of dozens of universes turned into a singularity. What a cheap joke!! Haha- Hahahaha...!!!" Belial cackled relentlessly as his hand regenerated once he pulled it out.

"We'll have to go inside this shitty excuse of a singularity. It's so poorly constructed that it's making even me laugh..."

"Just let us get that free hit and I'll explain afterwards," She replied calmly.
"Well, I'm waiting." Kill-Gaia held his arms open, "Let's see what you can do. As a mortal, anyway."

“How do we go inside it without dying?” King Tiger asked.

“If your hand is any indication, we can’t just walk into this…singularity thing without being harmed”
"I... Have no idea." Belial said, shrugging. "Best option would be to just cover yourself in the heaviest Black Hole you can make to fight off the force."

“Hmm well that doesn’t seem that hard. As long as we take the time to-“ Horus said before Ahriman pushed him into the singularity, screaming as he was torn apart before creating a black hole to protect himself and entering the singularity fully

“Damn. Thought he’d die” Ahriman said disappointed

Even for those who had created a Black Hole around themselves, the pressure was nigh-impossible to bear. An unfathomable amount of dimensions folded into each other, creating a rift in reality that couldn't possibly be conceptualized by any normal being, even by Lucifer's standards. Luckily, the travel only lasted a few picoseconds, and everybody reached their destination without too many injuries, nothing that couldn't be healed by their own healing factors.

That would've changed had they stayed within the rift any longer, but they didn't, so that didn't matter. What appeared inside the singularity was...

Just a normal pub. A nice variety of drinks, a friendly atmosphere, just a normal pub. Except, it didn't truly feel like it was normal. Yes, it was normal, but the feeling of dread couldn't be shaken by anybody there. The bartender walked up to them, bowing his head.

"Drinks, anybody?" Rory looked at the bartender perplexed as if she couldn't quite get a read on him. Nobody could, not even Lucifer. But what they all knew was that he wasn't truly powerful, just that he was so mysterious nobody could analyze him. "Uh... No thanks." She said.

King Tiger gritted his teeth. Theirs no way this was a normal pub. Something felt…off. He was tempted to try and extract information more…forcefully, but stopped himself.

“Alright, yeah, that was a dumb question.” King Tiger said in an even voice.

“can you tell us where we are. Like what country or planet this pub is on. And I’ll have water for the drink”

"Of course, sir." King Tiger was served a glass of water. "And to answer your question... Where this place is cannot be pinned down. The pub itself is normal, but the location is rather ambiguous. Nothing needs to be complicated though. Just think of this place as a gap between realities."

“Oh…I see” King Tiger said, taking a long sip from his water before continuing.

“Me and my comrades have arrived because one of these ‘dimensions’ is releasing some….strange energy stuff, that’s driving people in our home dimension insane. You know anything about that?” King Tiger said, eyeing the bartender carefully.

"Very well," Toyoshi said, powering up. Her energy flared into a crimson red and black color, with red and black lightning merging into her body. She was merging with duplicates almost instantaneously now. As she was in the process of receiving the power of 100 million duplicates while building up her energy, she focused on a single point on Kill-Gaia's body: his face. Aiming her staff toward him, she launched a powerful blast that was intended to destroy even the quarks on his body. However, there was another thing that was present in this single strike: magic, specifically, the kind Towa would use to nullify a user's abilities, while in tandem with Masayoshi's abilities to overrule powers. And, thanks to her resistance negation that she learned under Lilliana, she could hopefully bypass his resistances to power nullification.

However, this was not Toyoshi's endgame, just merely something to see what she was up against, and to impress Kill-Gaia as well.

(Realized I never sent this lol)

"Oh?" Kill-Gaia didn't move or attempt to dodge. Whether or not the attack could do damage to him or not, it mattered little. For the entirety of existence was a show set to entertain him, and the thrill of pain simply enthralled him more into the game that was the totality of dimensions.

The attack hit him dead-on, creating not a catastrophic explosion, but more of an orchestrated blast, like an ocean being condensed into a small bullet or a supernova being condensed into a missile. A large portion of his mask was violently torn to shreds.

What was revealed below the devilish mask was... "Impressive. Very impressive... Far better than I expected." Nothing. Nothing was below Kill-Gaia's mask. It was an empty void, filled with nothing but darkness. It wasn't like he was made of the dark energy, no, something existed behind that mask of insanity.

But it was deep within a dimension of darkness, and it refused to show itself. "You're an interesting fellow. Not exactly who I'm looking for... But someone of value. That much is clear." Kill-Gaia said as he repaired his mask.
