Ragnarök-RP Thread

"Kill-Gaia, I don't know shit about your nature or what you are, but let us down into the Dream World," Rory said as Kill-Gaia stood up, his mask cracking.. To which he used his hand to hide the crack.

"Well, not like this form will last longer. Sure, knock yourselves out." Kill-Gaia said as he cackled. "But, before we go, I wanna ask something. Why?" This caused Gaia to tilt his head, "...Huh?"

"Why are you like this? For what reason do you eradicate everything? Why is the only way you communicate love murder? What drove you to this, Kill-Gaia? I want to know. If I knew, maybe I could help you, I don't know." Kill-Gaia simply sat there, scratching his head.

"I'll give you a hypothetical." Rory shrugged, "Ok..? Shoot." Gaia continued on, "Let's say, a meteorite crashed into your planet. Which crippled your planet beyond repair. Do you consider the meteorite to be evil?"

Rory responded, "Of course not, it's a giant rock, not some sort of person." Kill-Gaia let out a laugh, "Exactly! The meteorite didn't choose to fall, it simply did, it happened for no apparent reason. It happened because it happened." Rory could put the pieces together from there...

"You kill... For no reason?" Gaia nodded, "Ding-Ding-Ding! Exactly. I kill because I happen to feel like it. I destroy because I want to. I defy order and law because I have nothing else to do. And most of all..."

The group could feel a veil of dark energy wrap around their body as they slowly shifted through the dimensions. Kill-Gaia spread his arms, as if he was a bird or as if he was waiting to be hugged.

"I love it all."

"Huh? What the hell are you talking about?" Kill-Gaia wrapped his arms around himself, squeezing as tight as he could as he trembled in jubilation from the feeling..

"Everything I destroy, Everybody I kill, Everybody I want to kill, I love each and every last one. And therefore, I'll keep doing it. Even you guys are targets of my love."

"So basically you were neglected as a child or something like that?" Gaia chuckled, "I don't remember when I was a child. I was born for to long ago to remember something like that. It's just how I am, that's all." Their bodies were sucked into another dimension.

"Bye-Bye! Have fun fixing your world or whatever." Gaia waved bye as they were plopped into the infinite hellscape.

"We're back in the Dream World." Yharim said, instantly teleporting to the old planet his city was on before he moved it again. To no surprise the land was another hellscape. Yharim teleported back.

"We need a proper area cleared out. As we need a base of operations to work from." Yharim said, getting straight to business.

"We need a proper area cleared out. As we need a base of operations to work from." Yharim said, getting straight to business.
"Of course," Belial said as he waved his hand through the air, weaving celestial energies into his hands. He viciously carved out a piece of space and time, layering it with 6-Dimensional space to prevent any outside interference.

"Have it. I'll transfer admin rights to you." Belial said.

"I'm not going to bother with my City, it has no doubt fallen to the utter calamity that has been going around even if it isn't in the Dream World right now. And I have no intention to try to unscrew it when I'd have to kill every dreamer there." Yharim said, morphing the area into a new fortress, near identical to his old city but with more defenses on nearly everything, as well as people being created to work constantly for the fortress to stand tall.

It gave off the very aura of being a fortress to unfuck the Dream World, magical barriers to stop the outside forces from getting in, with powerful defenses along the walls, and Soldiers ready for combat just outside of the fortress on a smaller wall.

"Stroheim! Take command of the forces! Eonara! Work to strengthen the barriers that surround the place, I want several bounded fields to stop the aggressors, and figure out a way to remove the madness from the minds of those lost! Yharon! Work on our economic gathering, it will take a long time to unfuck the Dream World, we need an economy and resources to support that! Relanak! Set up patrols around our perimeter, tell the soldiers to use non-lethal force, we want to unscrew this place not slaughter everyone! Draedon! Work with Eonara and make sure you get mechanized forces in order, powered by the madness here perhaps!" Yharim ordered, as his council rushed off to fulfill these orders.

Yharim turned around and spoke "they are constructs. Similar to Ahriman, they live and breathe as we do, but at the end of the day were created: Homulucus if you will. There are rooms for each of you in the temple, decorate them how you want, if you want things to do go to either Stroheim, Relanak, or Yharon. I have a fortress to run." Yharim said as he teleported into his throne room, already bustling with orders to give out, Yharim gave out orders constantly, weapons, armor, clay, boats, aircraft. All were being made by the people,

"Well, it appears that whats going to be keeping these people going is ale, sheep, water, juice, and the smiles of others! I like this fortress myself!" Lucifer said, gazing at the booming fortress, and entering through the massive gate, with no issue from the guards, the sound of hammers hitting metal sounded almost everywhere

"Hot damn..." Steele said in surprise

"Yharim named his last city Babylon, from his last inspiration I'd say this is Uruk." Signus said

"I'll stay with King Tiger!" Shalor said, jumping over to King Tiger

"This is a wonderful fortress! Let us remove the madness around us with it!" Vulcan said happily

King Tiger looked around the dreamworld. Seeing it from afar was one thing, but seeing it up close was entirely different. He could clearly see, smell, and hear all the people, all the chaos, all the blood, all the despair.

King Tiger smoldered in silent rage as he continued to observe the destruction before him. However, this time King Tiger kept his emotions somewhat in check. He sighed deeply, before stepping into the fortress Yharim had created.

“Anyway I can help out?” King Tiger finally asked Shalor, wanting to help the efforts in restoring the dream world anyway he could.

No guard heard but several people were calling for help in their separate establishments of weapon making, clay kneading, flowers, medical areas, technology, magic, and so much more, everyone had a smile on their face as they did the work, people helped around everywhere they could

"Amazing isn't it?" Shalor said happily

Ahriman arrived, taking the sword made from the bone of Jormungandr and warping it into a staff. "This place does look pretty nice. Better than the hellscape that's the Dream World right now."

"Honestly I think it's Yharim's leadership that keeps the city together, if we was arrogant and always fought on the front I think it would have fallen apart before I was even born." Shalor said before turning to King Tiger

"But it seems like Yharim's short on resources here, so there isn't much room for entertainment. Like Lucifer said, whats keeping these people going is ale, sheep, and the smiles of others." Shalor said thoughtfully before continuing

"Lets get to work then!" Shalor proceeded to walk toward one of the clay kneading shops, beckoning King Tiger to follow

"Well, whatever. May as well." Belial's arms raised into the air, celestial energies forming around them as he and Rory shifted into an entirely different planet, the carnage still as prominent. "What are we here for, Beli?" Rory asked, confused. "I was thinking of showing off a bit, this is mostly for my own convenience though."

Belial waved his hands through the air, the core of the planet rumbling violently as a multitude of mountains began to coil and break, turning into enormous stone pillars. "These will be the foundation. " Belial instantly softened the pillars, smoothening them as he implanted bolts of an unknown metal into the base of the pillars.

He conjured poles of said unknown metal, inserting them into the pillars and connecting them to strengthen the foundation that he would erect his walls with. He telekinetically planted the pillars into the ground as he began to erect walls between each pillar, forming an octagon shape across the entire planet. "That's the foundation complete. Now for the inside." Belial said.

He created bridges across each wall, each equipped with a battalion of mechanical soldiers that were armed with almost every ranged weapon you could possibly think of. He constructed the inside of his fortress to be that of an enormous castle, painted black and purple to match his 'Demonic Aesthetic', as he would call it. "What else should I add? No need to over-stock. Efficiency is key... And I believe I have the best person for that."

Belial snapped his fingers, forming a veil of darkness that reached higher than an oak tree. Within the veil of chaotic darkness, something was forming itself... Every atom and quark was being individually created to form a being whose inner workings couldn't fully be comprehended. But, all that needed to be said was that the beings' loyalty to his creator overshadowed everything in this world.

"My Lord. I have awaited this for an unfathomable amount of time... The
day that we would be reunited under your will. Please, tell me, what do you order of me?"

"Glad your happy, Ahzad. It has been far too long, hasn't it? When did you dissipate? Year 28,987,234?" Ahzad responded, his stern expression and voice remaining the same. "Correct, My Lord." Ahzad stood up, his horns twitching. "Alright, head pats, then I'll have you put to work." Belial said before gently rubbing Ahzad's head.

"It is appreciated, My Lord. Now, what do you desire of me?" Belial snickered, "Military Affairs, defense status, the flow of magic power throughout my machines and their status, Weapon Supply, casualties, I want all of those handled, documented, and sent to me by the hour. I'll handle the rest myself." Ahzad nodded as he kneeled down.

"Whatever you desire, My Lord," Ahzad said before disappearing into the darkness, his loyalty and love for Belial shining through with each word her uttered as he left to take care of the orders that he was given. Rory simply sat there, watching with a derpy look on her face. "Soooo... What was the point of all this? Are you just trying to one-up Yharim?"

Belial responded immediately, "That, and I desire to help in my own way. I've loaded the weapons I armed my soldiers with with tranquilizers that calm the nerves and can paralyze practically anything. First, I'll suppress, then I'll analyze what is making the citizens of the Dream World like this, and then I'll develop a way to crush it."

Rory walked up to her son, "You also wanted to have a place where you and Shalor could hang out, didn't you?" Belial nodded, "That too." Belial said before transporting himself and Rory outside of the castle, revealing a fraction of it. "The exterior is flashy, yes, but it is incredibly durable. The material adapts to incoming physical force to neutralize attacks. It'll secrete sleeping gas every hour, that should keep our enemies at bay."

"It is pretty flashy, but sometimes flashy is good! Besides, with all that other stuff, I'm sure nobody is gonna criticize you for being too flashy." Belial shrugged, "I could care less. Ah, here comes the first batch of test subjects." Belial said as Ahzad flew over, holding a net filled with feral citizens who were bound by ropes and chains.

"They are exceptionally superhuman, My Lord. But I have taken care of everything you've asked for including this." Belial nodded, "Thank you, Ahzad. You've outdone yourself. I'll only need one for now." Belial snapped his fingers, one of the people appearing before his feet. "I'll need a blood sample, sorry," Belial said as he shoved his hand into the person's neck, taking a large sample of blood before removing his hand and sealing the wound shut before any blood could leak out.

"Analysis currently underway... Analysis complete. Sorta." Belial said as he scratched his head, confused. "I bet the cells through over 10,000 decoder sequences as soon as I sampled it and still counting, but I could only get a limited amount of information. Here's what we currently know." Belial leaned against his castle walls.

"These cells are practically made to destroy themselves. They're attracted to each other, which makes the people attack each other relentlessly. So far, that's all I can tell. Any further attempts will kill the person without a more isolated environment and a more concentrated analysis." Rory tilted her head, having absolutely no idea what he was saying.

"I'm saying the cells are like magnets. Put a person with them in their body around another person with the cells in their body, they're instinctively attracted to one another to violently kill the other. I'll immediately work on a way to purify these corrupted cells, but it'll take work. For now, I'll put Ahzad on the case. Cellular biology is easy, actually caring is another thing."

Rory then spoke up, "So... You don't actually care? Then why do all this?" Belial turned to his mother, chuckling at her question. "Because I know pretty much everybody besides myself does care. My friend Shalor, Yharim and the rest of his followers, King Tiger, You. All of you care about this world's current state. I'm simply attempting to get myself some points after what I did. Although, it isn't like I'm sorry."

"There isn't a need to be sorry, Belial. You weren't in your right mind." Belial chuckled once more, "Nobody ever is, right mother?" Belial teleported back into the castle, his mother followed him. "I have no desire or need for redemption. I couldn't care less about something like that.... But- Whenever I think about it, I..."

Belial clenched his fist, "My chest hurts immensely whenever I remember my deeds, mother. And it isn't a very pleasant experience." Belial said before sitting down on a chair he had materialized while also creating an apple juice-box. "All I hope is that this pain in my chest will ease itself if I do these things. Even if I don't really care."

(Here's your ******* bible you stupid slaves.)

A mysterious hooded old man with a black beard stood up and walked toward Seth

"Compassion without reason is an evil. Feeling shame is another. However, I appreciate such kindness. So I grant you recompense. Empathize not with the enslaved one. Celebrate not with the joyous one. And extol not the pained one. Always remember. 'Tis a fool's task to speak of man's ways... to a true god." The old man said before disappearing without any possible trace to track, even for one such as Belial or Lucifer

(I have no idea where anyone is so uh... **** it who cares at this point)

"Welp that guy checks all the boxes for 'ominous figure'. Hood/robe, really old, speaking vaguely and in weird phrases" Ahriman said

Toyoshi merely hovered atop her staff from a fair distance away from the others, about a few feet away, give or take. Now more than ever, there was a need for order. This was what was what would come about from a world without it, after all. However, it seemed almost as if there was never any progress being made to achieve such order. It always felt like there were obstacles in the way, and before they could make any actual strides, yet another obstacle would arise...

"Theater..." She thought. That word, "theater"... That was what she was in, after all. This was all a wild story, and she is just one- though technically two- of the characters present in the story. However, Toyoshi was not made of two individuals who thought that to be a negative thing. Rather, this meant that they were catalysts that would drive the plot toward the next chapter, just as Odysseus drove the chronicles of the Illead in his journey home, or as heroes in comics drive the plot of their worlds to safer tomorrows.

"As corny as what the person that plays us typed out, he has a point," Toyoshi thought to herself, "The story is far from over."

(Again, let me know when y'all want drunk Val.)

"Oh, it isn't even close to the end, Baby." Toyoshi could feel somebody wrap their arm around her, it was a cold arm... Like that of a corpse, it emitted no natural heat or life. "But don't you wonder whether or not your place in the story is a little... Tenuous? To say the least." Toyoshi could feel a natural repulsion to the man who had yet to reveal himself.

"Hello, beautiful. My name is Kill-Gaia. Some like to call me 'Devil,' or 'Psycho', or any other insult to one's mentality." The man said, as Toyoshi's view of the others began to glimmer away, as if a separate space was beginning to surround them. "I've created a little corner of Nil for us to talk. Nobody will be able to disturb us, not even that stick-in-the-mud Lucifer..."

"I see your beginning to realize the nature of this world. Or, at least what it's made from." Kill-Gaia said, clearly interested in Toyoshi as a whole... Not just her appearance as he would normally come off.

(That may take a while, we're all focusing on story stuff rn lol.)

"We have a few names for you, but you've probably heard them all before," Toyoshi responded in disgust, "What do you want with us? We thought Rory was your fascination, and we also don't know whether to take this interest in us as a compliment or an insult...."

There really wasn't much Toyoshi could do at this point due to being inside of a domain of Kill-Gaia's creation. She'd have to play this out with him. As of now, she was pretty much forced to play by his rules. After all, it wasn't like she could do anything to him of significance. At least, not yet.

"Rory will always be my top priority, the girl's potential for growth is so enormous it logically isn't something she should have... But, I also have other interests. I've been alive far to long, girl." Kill-Gaia said with a somber tone.

"I'm interested specifically in your ability to comprehend the nature of this story so easily. No... Perhaps it's something else." Kill-Gaia spawned a small table with a pot of herbal tea, nice and hot. "Sit down. I have no desire to harm you in anyway. Your inability to harm me already makes it so that I've no reason to kill you... Well, at least not at this point."

Toyoshi sat down on her staff rather than the chair. She wasn't expecting any traps or anything on the chair or something of that nature, she was merely just more accustomed to using her staff as a seat.

"Something else? What, you think we were bestowed with some kind of gift giving us divine comprehension?" Toyoshi asked, "As fascinating as that would be since Rory gets all of the cool plot-induced toys, we doubt that's the case. But why do you care so much about this ability of ours, anyways?"

Toyoshi took a sip of the tea, looking Kill-Gaia dead in the eyes as she spoke. If there was any fear present in her, it was masked exceptionally well. From there, the fusion merely waited for his answer.

"Don't be a fool, there's no divine comprehension at play here. This is all a product of your own existence." Kill-Gaia said, sipping his tea through his mask... somehow. "Masayoshi is a lawyer, Towa is a... I don't really know what she is, but she's a rather cunning individual herself, I take it." Kill-Gaia plopped his legs onto the table, leaning back.

"Due to that being your... Main character trait. It's manifested as the ability to comprehend the nature of the 4th wall more than others. You may even be able to interact with those outside the narrative window. The players." Kill-Gaia said as his blank smile peered through her very being.

"I enjoy cunning people within my ranks... And usually I'd ask you to join me, but I already know you'll say no, so the best I'll ask for is that you agree to have these little chats with me every once and a while. Fill me in on the current events."

Gaia stood up as he stared into the infinite void of Nil, "Fear is natural, but to mask it is unnatural. If you are afraid of me, I'll allow you to hit me just once to get it out of your system. I'll even guarantee it'll do damage."

"Oh, you'll be afraid. Not because I want you to be afraid, though." Kill-Gaia said, cackling. "Make whatever decision you want, it doesn't affect me. This was birthed only from my own personal interest."
"I've created a little corner of Nil for us to talk. Nobody will be able to disturb us, not even that stick-in-the-mud Lucifer..."
"Yes, it will give more of a lore dump and will get you killed instantly! Good deal!" Lucifer said
