Ragnarök-RP Thread

Signus told Yharim over the walkie talkie of the daydreaming thing

"So let me get this straight, you can connect to yourselves to your bodies in the dream world? Because that could prove useful taking these raiders down." John said

"Great. sigh let's be ready for a fight, you shouted there." Signus said, testing daydreaming with a cloak appearing on him, mirroring his appearance when transformed in the dream world, but still human, granting himself limitless stamina and the power of a tank shell (9-A) along with Supersonic speeds. (Rinse and repeat in power for Eonara, Yharon, and Shalor. Yharim himself gets his armor and goes 9-A+, which will increase slowly for each...)

"I dunno Masayoshi, I just discovered this myself so I don't have all the answers." Rory stretched out a bit. "For now, does anyone confident enough in their abilities wanna go down there and beat em' up?"
 
"Okay then" Horus said as he jumped off the building. His armor essentially gave him the strength and durability of a tank and he used that to his advantage. As he jumped down, he crashed into the street with such force that it resulted in a small crater forming. He rose from the crater and began to open fire on the raiders down below

(For context I basically made Horus' armor in the real world equivalent to an M1 Abrams so like 9-B AP with 9-A Dura)

“phew” King Tiger said, exhausted from using his ability to heal some of Rory damage.

“That drains a lot of stamina, I won’t be able to do that much for now”

“Well theirs no point in hiding anymore then. if we’ve already been discovered. Let’s just kick their asses.” King Tiger said, his confidence restored after seeing that he could use at least some of his abilities again.

King Tiger scaled down the building, and started to help Horus take on the raiders, using his brute strength and skill to take out some of the remaining raiders in close quarters combat. the bulletproof armor he had taken form the dead raiders protecting him from their gun fire.

"So?" Rory picks up a rock. "At this point, planning doesn't mean shit. My screaming probably already alerted them that we're here." She walks up to the edge of the building, leaping off of it and to the next like Yharim to enter the city.

Once near the entrance, she jumped off the building she was on and onto the tank, landing on it and crushing it, creating an explosion that killed dozens and dozens of raiders.

"****! It feels great to be able to do shit like this. But.." She kneels down, bleeding from her nose and mouth. "Huh... I guess the penalty can be left up to interpretation since I think my heart just stopped beating."

She fell down, laying there for over a minute... She then slowly got up, still coughing up blood. "Well, this kinda sucks with the penalty. The pain is pretty good though."

"Oh. You don't say. Now get your asses in gear and get ready for a fight!" John said with Eonara clearly shaking off nearly passing out. Which was seen by John

"And it seems you should take it easy with your powers." John said

"Oh shut it..." Eonara retorted

"Enough. Let's get Into the fight." Signus responded, his nerves receiving a shock.

Shalor shot Enkidu out and took out three dozen raiders each in one hit.

John Steele and Eonara followed Signus as planned as they snuck to the heart of the city and to where they estimated the leader would be

Yharon took a more direct approach and boarded a tank, killing anyone inside and busting through the wall of the city before hiding atop a buildings
 
Somewhere underground...

"Those dreamers made it into our base, their gonna tear everything to bits. We've gotta release it." Said one of the raiders. "If we let this thing loose, not even 10 tanks is gonna be able to put it down man. It's just an experiment." Said another one of the raiders.

"We ain't got any choice, if we don't do something, we're gonna get put down for good... I'm letting it free." Raider 1 pressed a button, an enormous gate releasing tons of steam.

"Vitals Check. Specimen: Deathclaw. Status: Alive. All vitals are normal."

"How much power can it release?" The system responded. The raiders had a rather advanced scientific department.

"In the current phase, it should be capable of releasing 530 tons of force."

"Perfect... Apply the shock stimulus and release it. The shock should keep it under control." The gate slowly opened, revealing a monsterous being...

"Are you ready, boy?" The raider said, treating it like a pet. The creature tilted its head before looking up. "UP." It said. "Uh... Yeah, up." The creature said something else. "I GO." It easily brushed off the shock stimulus, bursting through the ceiling above it and through the ground with a jump.

Rory could feel something coming from below her... "Huh?" She jumped away from the area as an eruption of dust and debris released itself from the ground, revealing the monster that let out radiation gas with each step. It had created a hole the size of a large house with that jump, reaching many dozens of meters underground.

"Jeez... You clearly aren't normal. Did a calamity follow us or something?"
 
"Oh... shit." Signus said as he wired his walkie talkie for a specific thing

"Draedon we have an ass-kicking machine coming here and I don't think we can quite take it yet!"

"I just finished making a toy and finished my current job here, ill send it to help and make several more to back it up." Draedon replied as he pressed a button, activating something that caused a shaking sound deep below the city...

"Well Rory, I hope you are ready for a toy to assist you!" Signus said to her after rewiring the radio
 
King Tiger rushed towards the creature. Using Daydreaming to increase his strength, he slammed into the creature with a powerful shoulder charge, his resulting force comparable to that of a speeding train, sending the creature flying into a nearby wall.

“TIGER TACKLE” King Tiger yelled while performing the move.

the attack was powerful, more powerful than any normal human could have hoped to achieve, however, it came at a cost. King Tiger entire right arm had been shattered when he impacted the creature, the limb now hanging loosely at his side, bent at a clearly unnatural way.

The creature took no damage from King Tiger's attack... Well, it took damage. A lot of damage actually. The thing was, is that it was far too immature and undeveloped to actually understand the sense of danger or pain, and so it simply began regenerating without attempting to retaliate or attack.

The creature simply took Horus' talons to its face, and when the creature sensed that Masayoshi's beam could potentially end its life, it simply picked up a rock and threw it at her beam. The rock was transmuted into a rock.

"Well..." Rory shook her head, "There seems to be only one option." She turns around, getting in a running position. "As my favorite anime character always liked to say..."

"N I G E R U N D A Y O !"​

Rory began to run away, and she urged King Tiger and literally everyone else to do the same.
 
The ground ruptured under the beast, as it was consumed by a machine that leveled the city block from moving, its worm-like body housing enough heat to compare to a star, all of it being released onto the beast as thousands of blades that were heated to 1.4 Quintillion degrees Celsius sliced at it repeatedly, the force or each blade moving enough to obliterate a tank on its own (8-B Destroyer boyoes!)

"That's what Draedon calls a toy? Say, do you have a ride coming to get us out of here?" John asked, surprised more then anything

"I always have a backup plan." Sigus said as a floating seat for himself, Eonara, and John picked them up

"I'll keep them alive for the most part!" Yharim called as the three flew away at Mach 10, the g forces being utterly demolished by Draedon's design

King Tiger, upon seeing the creature regenerate from his attack, realized that physical force would likely be ineffective against the creature. Additionally, if he kept wailing on it, it’s likely his body would deteriorate long before the creature took any lasting damage.

Following Rory advice, he turned around and dashed away from the creature, moving as fast as his legs could carry him.

“What the hell is that thing?” King Tiger said. He had never expected such a creature to exist in the real world.
