Ragnarök-RP Thread

Masayoshi got out slowly, head down so no one would see her face. After doing so, she walked a few paces, turning toward the caravan.
The raider diligently checked the caravan, of course finding nothing of any real concern. "You're good, you can pass through."
As Horus began to enter the main city, he took his radio, disassembling it and connecting it directly to his armor, allowing him to speak to and hear the others without needing to take it out. "Everyone okay? Just checking in." Horus said
"Yeah, I'm good," Rory responded. "We just met some kid, forgot his name. Seems to be a low-level grunt."

(It also could've been an insult to his choice of clothing or style, or maybe Rory just doesn't know much about the world right now so she doesn't know what all raiders wear, just respond to the post instead of nit-picking.)

"Well, in any case, we need to find this place's leader instead of dicking around whenever we find someone on a building. We should probably get down from here though." Rory said, not really enjoying being this high up with her weak human body.

Masayoshi gave a slight nod before getting back in the caravan and going on her way. Once she started driving, she grabbed the walkie-talkie Rory had given her and gave them a small message.

"I'm in," Masayoshi said, "How are all of you?"

"**** yeah I'm scared about being this high up! I've got this weird fleshy human body now, so my aversion to being high up has increased... I just came up here cause I wasn't finding anything of value, I didn't expect to find people on this specific building." Rory said.
"Oh aren't you just precious. Well, I'm going to entertain myself while we wait for Draedon to get here while John and Signus plan how to move forward. And I have just the entertaining thing to do it with." Yharim said as he walked toward the ledge

"See you all on the inside of the city! Juranamo!" Yharim said as he jumped down and stayed hidden, he straight up avoided any people until he was within the city, not being seen once, scaling another building and staying out of sight and taking out anyone up there with silent technique

"Did he just..." John said

"Oh he just." Signus replied

"Well if everyone's fine, I'm going to just look around the city, see if there's anything potentially dangerous in the city"

As Horus walked throughout the city, he thought of what Belial had said to him a few days prior, how he would never regain his former power, how he would only ever fail, how he was a fool for even trying to rebuild his empire and to get his revenge on Urial. He began to ponder if what he was trying to do was even his best option, if accepting power from the Nightbringer, having his mind consumed with thoughts of death, was even worth getting revenge on Urial. And then he realized how much Belial was right, how he was a fool who would only ever fail. He failed to kill his brother when he had the chance, he failed to rebuild his empire, and now he was here, hiding in a wasteland, once again desperate to regain the power he once had within the Dream World, thinking he was deserving of power.

He realized he was a fool who deserved nothing.

"Tch... Showoff." Rory simply sat down, sighing. What could she even do? In this mere human form, she was only skilled and could bend space a bit.. She didn't even have a weapon she could use. She was pretty much useless.

She yawned a bit.. She was tired. Absurdly tired. But she couldn't sleep, the environment wouldn't allow her to. So for now, she just rested her eyes.. But as she did, she could feel her head being split apart. Not literally, it was like her consciousness was split between two worlds... The Real World, and the World of Dreams.

"...Daydreaming." She said randomly as she stood up. She bent her knees, taking in a deep breath. Suddenly, she jumped over 50 meters into the air. "I... I got it..! It's daydreaming!"

She slowly descended back to the building, and as soon as she touched the ground, she scrunched up in extreme pain. "Haha... It seems a human body can't handle that release of power. But I've figured it out somewhat... Short bursts of power are possible with a temporary connection with our Dream Bodies."

“Whoa what the hell”

King Tiger shot up and looked at Rory, confused on her sudden showcase of power. Such a feat should have only been possible in the dreamworld.

“How the hell did you do that?”

"It's daydreaming man! I'm a ******* genius!" She shook her head, ruffling her hair. "I can make a temporary connection with myself in the Dream World if I just focus! And god does it feel amazing!"

“Day dreaming? That’s it? Is their some kind of special trick to it? Do ya think I can do it?”

King Tiger let loose a flurry of questions, excited at the prospect of gaining even a portion of his dream world strength back.
"It's like, uh... It's like your mind is being split in half between the two worlds. I was just resting my eyes, and I guess I just... Let go? I think? I think my legs are broken.." She was in no way focused due to the rush of dopamine in her brain. Her legs were also broken due to the kinetic energy born from jumping that high.

As Horus overheard Rory screaming her lungs out, he closed his eyes and imagined himself with the others. In an instant, he teleported to the roof of the building they were on. "Well that's interesting..." Horus said as he started to groan in pain from what he had just done

Masayoshi tried giving it a try. She concentrated hard, daydreaming to try and stop time. Sure enough, time was frozen for a short duration of time, allowing her to move as everything stood still. She smiled at the success before time resumed and she felt a great deal of pain for her attempt...
Suddenly, Masayoshi's breathing stopped. Just as she had stopped time, her lungs had stopped working for a short duration of time. It seems whenever one used day-dreaming, they paid a price equivalent to the ability they used.

''Personally i would recomand drugs or lack of sleep. Both lead to daydreaming.'' he said
“Never done drugs before. I guess I’ll just wait until I’m sleep deprived then” King Tiger said

King Tiger walked over to Rory and bent down, looking at her legs.

“Yep, those are definitely broken. Happened all the time in pro wrestling training”

“let me try something, if I can get the hang of this day dreaming thing I could try and heal your injury”

Attempting to day dream, King Tiger tried using an extremely diluted form of his conceptual manipulation, removing the concept of “damage” from her legs to heal the injury.

Rory's legs had healed partially due to the faultiness of the day-dreaming ability. "Ah... Alright, I think I'm sort of fine. For now, I think we should take a bit to experiment with what we're capable. It seems my current strength is around 6 times that of a gorilla.."
