Ragnarök-RP Thread

"You don't seem to understand, boy. I am not a servant. This is my domain."

Suddenly, both Lucifer and the Dark figure were sitting in two seats, holding popcorn.

"I called you here through a gift I sent to my beloved toy, and this is no game. I am here to warn you."

The figure produced a mouth, beginning to scarf down popcorn.

"The girl will kill you if you fight her half-assed, then she will kill Yharim, and then she will kill your master, and then she will fall into despair. I am giving you a chance. Do not interfere with her progression, do not lay a single hand on even a strand of her delicate skin. The fact that I haven't obliterated you and have instead offered you snacks means I have a decent amount of trust in your master's judgment. Interfering with other stories is something I don't tolerate."

The shadow of Lucifer was beginning to be matched by another... A mysterious game-master who favored Rory to the point of obsession.

Towa looked toward the bisected Calamity. She smiled, stealing some of its power and storing it along with the power of the previous Calamity she stole the energy from. This could prove useful as well. But what would she use it for? Oh, the possibilities are endless.

Masayoshi looked toward the Calamity.

"Well then," Masayoshi commented, "That went a lot easier than expected."

"Don't get any funny ideas, witch. The only reason I tolerate you is that your friend is a Harmonist, so don't try anything." Rory turned to Towa... She didn't trust the woman, not at all... She'd already made a few mistakes with trusting people in the past, so she wasn't gonna make them again.

With Lucifer seemingly gone, King Tiger went back to attempting to heal the injuries of the tortured citizens, pushing the pain and suffering away from their bodies at the conceptual level and creating a portal to a far off place that they could escape to, away from harm.

“was that the real body or just another illusion?” King Tiger asked Rory. It seemed to him that the calamity had been defeated a little to easily. Though perhaps the destruction of the illusion weakened it.

"As hard as it may be for you to believe this, I also agree with Harmonist ideologies," Towa said, "I want a world of order, but while it's not in that state, I'll use whatever means I desire to get closer to that goal. Is there anything else you would like to say, or insinuate about me, rather?"

"I do not require the concept of health."

He continued to eat his popcorn.

"And technically, as long as your in here, you can't leave until I let you. I've been wanting to broaden my horizons on torture, perhaps we could continue for a few eons?"

It was an empty threat, they both knew that, if anything it was a joke. The being stood up.

"I'm also curious about this Yharim character. What do you make of him?"

"As hard as it may be for you to believe this, I also agree with Harmonist ideologies," Towa said, "I want a world of order, but while it's not in that state, I'll use whatever means I desire to get closer to that goal. Is there anything else you would like to say, or insinuate about me, rather?"
"I'll believe that when you aren't thinking about stealing abilities every god damn second. One doesn't need mind-reading powers to know you've got some nasty ideas plastered all over your face." Rory releases Belial, crossing her arms.

"I wouldn't count on it. Those Mystic Eyes will obliterate Yharim through all layers if she strikes those lines. Though I'm sure an entirely new one could be built from scratch."

The being held his hand towards Lucifer.

"Remember what I said, do not touch the girl."

And he was sent back to the material world.
(lol a cosmic Rory simp)
(Sorry, Rory already has a love interest lol I can't wait til Pandora comes back so I can ship that with all my might.)

"Ah, there's the second assumption," Towa answered, "I don't know what I'll use it for. If you'd like, I suppose I could give it to one of our allies, one of your choosing. In fact, if you're that suspicious of me...."

Towa molded the energy into a spherical shape, letting it hover in front of Rory.

"You can do it yourself," Towa said, "You've battled me numerous times, and if what you've claimed is true, you should already know what I'm capable of, and perhaps possess a countermeasure for most of, if not all of my abilities..."

"Yeah, I'd rather not get into the constant battling thing. It sort of makes me wanna bash my head open." Rory then shakes her head, "Keep it. I may not trust you all that much yet, but I have no real desire for anything you have to give me. I'm sure Beli would take it though."

Belial was being held up by Ahzad as to be on eye level with Towa.

"She is correct, I would happily partake of whatever ability you gathered from it. Any information on whatever that calamity was and it's connection to me is more than appreciated."

Urial began to look through time, wondering who that weird draconic figure was. He seemed familiar, he felt like he recognized his aura, his soul. He looked through the history of the entire world and that’s when he saw the Majin entering the river of evil and emerging in a powerful new form. “Perhaps I can use that” Urial thought to himself as he teleported to the pocket dimension.

In the sky, an object flew down towards Archaon’s dark castle, going directly through the dark storm that surrounded it. It crashed into the ground, forming a massive crater that caused the castle and pyramids there to crack and crumble beneath themselves. The blast from it dispersed the storm above, for the first time in years, the sky was clear. As the dust began to settle, the Thousand Suns deployed there began to walk towards the crater, aiming their guns at the center of it, not knowing what it was, or who it was. From the smoke, rose Horus. His armor was black and gold, his eyes glowing a deep red. He grasped at the dirt and crushed it with his claw as he pulled out his maul.

“Bring me Urial!” Horus announced, “And I will spare your lives.” His warning fell on deaf ears as the Thousand Suns quickly opened fire on him. “A shame.” he said as, in the blink of an eye, he began to attack. He shattered their armor and killed them easily. He tore through them like they were butter until there was one left. He lifted the soldier from his neck. “Where is he?!” He asked in a menacing tone. When the soldier refused to respond, he looked through his mind, scanning it until he found what he was looking for. “A pocket dimension? I see” Horus muttered as he snapped the soldier’s neck and dropped him to the ground.

Horus placed his hand on the ground, a purple flame coming from it as it spread throughout the area, entering the bodies of the dead Thousand Suns. The bodies rose, as the flames began to erupt from their bodies. They were now reanimated by Horus’ newfound powers. They all gathered behind him, “Come my undead army!” Horus shouted as he began to slam his maul into the ground. It began to shatter the very space that was there until a hole formed between dimensions. “We have a kingdom to burn” He stated as he and his army marched into the pocket dimension.

(If you need me, I'm going to be writing out how Urial gets his ass beat for like the 5th time this week)

Urial teleported into his throne room and summoned Ahriman into the room with him. “Ahriman, I’ve discovered something very interesting.” He said as he psychically projected an image of the river of evil into Ahriman’s mind. “It appears to be a river that grants immense power. When Majin came out of the river, he was teeming with divine energy. We have to capitalize on this. If we use the river, we could amass an army with soldiers as strong, if not stronger, than those of the Harmonists or Yharim’s group. There is but a single problem, it appears the river alters the minds of those who enter it which could become detrimental, but I believe my mind should be strong enough to counteract the effects, as well as the minds of the Thousand Suns. I will be going to the river to become transformed first, you will be second, then the rest of the Thousand Suns and we’ll be able to-”

“Destroy everything!” a voice screamed out as explosions occurred. Urial turned, seeing Horus and a vast army of undead soldiers, consisting of both Archaon’s and his own Thousand Suns, marching towards the throne room.

“Shit” Urial said as he flew down, crashing into the undead soldiers as thousands of other soldiers began to rally behind him. “What are you doing here Horus?”

“Just here to see my dear old brother!” Horus shouted as he swung his maul, hitting Urial in the jaw and breaking it. Urial fell to the ground with a loud thud and Horus began to laugh to himself, thinking about how weak his brother was

Urial started to get back up. “Is that all you got?” Urial said, taunting him. But something was different, his jaw wasn’t regenerating. “What the…?” he asked, completely baffled, as Horus hit him again in the jaw.

“Surprised brother?” Horus said snarkily as he got ready to strike him again. Quickly, Urial fired a beam of energy into Horus’ face, causing him to reel back in pain as Urial flew towards him and tackled him through a building. As he did so, the soldiers of both armies began to clash, fighting head to head, but the undead soldiers were more so attacking the Thousand Suns, seemingly fixated on them. They were also fixated on Archaon, the other strongest being in the dimension at the moment, and charged at him with bloodlust.

After several grueling minutes of combat, Horus eventually grabbed onto one of the many horns on Urial’s armor, snapping it off and using it to puncture his hips. Urial reeled back in pain as Horus used the opportunity to stab his claws directly into his stomach. Horus swung his maul, infusing it with pure higher-dimensional energy, and slammed it into Urial’s chest, splintering his armor and sending shards of it through his chest. Urial was forced onto the ground, where Horus once more slammed his maul into his chest, caving it in and shattering his ribs, his blood spewing all over the walls and floor. Urial lay there, bleeding and at Horus’ mercy, mercy that his brother sorely lacked.

Urial was suddenly fully healed as Horus was thrust back to a small arena with a massive throne on the opposite side, with the one and only Lucifer sitting upon it in his demon form, with a massive statue standing behind the throne

Lucifer laughed "So the Nightbringer would send their champion, alone, into my realm? Come, let me test your resolve!"

(He can't be healed by those from higher dimensions remember aka Lucifer just leave him in a bloody state. Works for later on)

"Very well." Horus said as he fired at the statue with his talons, shattering the base and causing it to fall on top of Lucifer

Time reversed on the statue as Lucifer teleported 2 meters behind Horus and picked him up with Telekinesis, raising him into the air

"Pitiful."

Lucifer slammed Horus behind himself

"A flawed casting from a perfect mold." Lucifer teleported 3 meters into the air and dropped down with energy raging at his fist

(He does, you think Lucifer would take an invasion from someone he knows can negate his regeneration immortality without spacing a couple tiers between himself and the strongest opponent?)

Lucifer teleported again, his attack already in motion as he cracked the back of Horus's armor and sent him 10 meters away

(yeah that's understandable. my bad for assuming he'd try and make it a fair fight considering what he's done. yeah.)

Horus simply got back up, regenerating from his wounds and began to fire upon him again ,constantly teleporting to try and make sure Lucifer couldn't hit him again.

Belial held onto his mother's hand as his eyes widened, looking at the sky intensely. "My lord, what is the matter?" Belial then turned to Ahzad, "The Dark Sun, Ahzad... Can't you see it? The edge of the play?" Belial pointed to the sun, "Huh? Beli, the sun is still the same." Rory responded.

"Do you not see it? Strange, but the sun is black. And the depth of its corona has no end."

("Do you see it too? The edge of the play?")

"H-hgh.." Belial rubbed his head in discomfort, "Ahzad, Mother, it's right there...! The depth of the theatre has no end! I can see it, the Dark Sun is going to consume it!" Belial raised his hand into the air, simulating grabbing the sun. "M-My Lord..." Belial then turned to Ahzad, grabbing his shoulders.

"Can you see it now!? It's brilliant right?!" Ahzad looked up, "Y-yes... My Lord, I can see it. Why does it seem so enormous...? That center star... My Lord, what is that you wish to do?"

"....."
Belial began to float into the air, "I can see the inside of the theatre, mother. I can see it. But it isn't aflame yet. It burns, but it isn't truly aflame. This is what that eye meant." A hammer formed in Belial's hand...

"Mother, I love you."

Before Rory could react, she was blown through the planet as the Hammer expanded in a mere instant, creating an explosion that easily outclassed the one that Rory made when she fought the 3rd wave boss.

"Hahaha... Amazing, so I can destroy planets on such a scale? Ahzad." Ahzad created a platform on space, "My lord?" Belial smirked, "Watch." Suddenly, the planet was rebuilt in an instant. "We will ignite the Dark Sun. We will gather all the Monarchists that we can, and we will grasp the edge. Mother..." Rory stared at Belial as she immediately knew what was going for.

"I don't know about this Dark Sun business... What's going on?" Rory asked, causing Belial to tilt his head. "Mother... So you can't see the edge of the theatre. Sad. Well, it's fine. Because I realized just how much you mean to me... And how much more powerful I'm going to become. I will see you at the end." Belial and Ahzad disappeared...

@AbaddonTheDisappointment

Suddenly, Horus and Urial (whatever was left of him), was transported... "Did I interrupt your battle? Well, that's fine. When everything is done, you'll probably both die with each other anyway. But right now I need some help."

Belial sat on a rock as he blankly stared at both Urial and Horus, expecting some sort of anger from the two.
