Ragnarök-RP Thread

"Oh, you can regenerate from the erasure of your existence. Interesting, it seems I must pulverize space to get rid of yo-" Rory then grabbed Belial's hand, "Calm down, Beli. As much as I like seeing that limp-dick suffer, we've got more important shit to deal with. Such as the eye thing, and the enclosing feeling of someone riding on a giant dragon towards this location..."

A golden light shone above them before crashing down in a blinding light, with Yharim landing square on his feet about 10 meters with Yharon landing behind him and transforming back into his human form

"Say what you want about Yharim but he sure does know how to make an entrance." Relanak commented

"There is nothing for me to lead you to." Belial remarked, "Think about it. What has every calamity attempted to bring down upon you? Despair, correct? That is what they are made of." Belial then began walking in a circle, rubbing his chin.

"There has been no direct despair brought upon anyone here. No attempt to break us down, and no direct attacks after all this time. Sure, perhaps the calamity is smart, perhaps it doesn't desire direct confrontation. Then why would it lay out all the clues for us? The citizens are oozing despair, it should be drawn here no matter it's intelligence, to be able to create a pocket-reality of this size would mean it has significant battle power so I doubt it could resist it's nature to crush hope." Belial then came to a conclusion.

"It's an illusion. The influence of outside forces."

Towa reappears and looks around at the place, quite unfazed by it. Meanwhile, Masayoshi is trying to think of a plan.

"I may have an idea," Masayoshi said, beginning to view alternate timelines to calculate the chances of success, "But, I'm not going to attempt something that has no possible chance of success..."

Towa decided to interact with one of the individuals nearest to her, not wanting to disturb Masayoshi. After all, if she could draw that Calamity out to steal some of its power, that would be even better for her...

"Quite the fascinating illusion, isn't it?" Towa said with a smile, "I may have to take note of techniques like these..."

"Then that is that. I will have a specialist dispel this illusion." Belial snapped his fingers, "He is recently created, so do forgive him if he makes a mistake in dispelling it." Suddenly, a veil of black goo formed from the ground.

"My Lord, what do you require of me? Whatever it is, I will accomplish it to the best of my abilities and more. I am your eternal sword and shield. I am Ahzad Kealb." A dark child manifested from the world...

"That is the name you've chosen for yourself? Good, that means you have individuality. My theory of conceptual lifeform creation was a success it seems. I will call you Ahzad then."

The child simply kneeled down, "Call me whatever you desire my lord. What do you require of me?" Belial smirked, "Dispel this illusion. Can you do it?" Ahzad nodded, "If I am provided with assistance in doing so by anyone experienced in illusions or curses, I will be able to dispel it. I will require of someone of a dark disposition." Belial then turned to Towa.

"This one seems sufficient. Use her." Ahzad nodded, "Whatever is best for your desires, my lord. Woman. Assist me." Ahzad stood up, turning to Towa.

(Ahzad's profile can be found under Belial's on his page. Here.)

"You require my assistance?" Towa asked the child, "Alright, I suppose I'll help you."

Towa hovered over toward them, coming to a halt and brushing her hair back.

Meanwhile, Masayoshi would continue coming up with a plan in order to lure out the calamity, trying to find the option that guaranteed success, as well as locating contingencies in case anything went awry with the original plan.

"I require the help of only one more. All others are extras. Woman, you are aware of how to dispel illusions, correct? If not, I have no use for you." Ahzad turned to Towa, as he the world was already tearing apart the fake world chunk by chunk.
"I can nullify illusions, yes," Towa answered, "Though I was hoping to get a chance to admire this one a tad more..."

Slowly the illusion was completely torn apart, the group returning to their previous horrible scenery. "My lord, the task has been completed. Will you issue me a reward?" Belial smiled at his request, "Magnificent. You already have enough individuality to desire a reward? Ahzad, your value increases evermore. What do you desire?" Ahzad's horns twitched in excitement.

"I desire to battle." This caused Belial to tilt his head, "Really now? With whom do you desire to fight?" Ahzad answered his lord's question with a shallow voice.

"There is another king besides you here. He holds many servants. I wish to fight the one known as Relenak." Belial answered, "I am no king, Ahzad. And that man's master owns the kingdom in which I and my friend will be having an outing. I cannot grant you the right to fight him at the moment, nor do I believe you capable."

Ahzad was saddened, "Of course, I am incapable of matching him currently... But I am attracted to him, my lord. His existence makes me want to grind him into dust and present him to my lord as a trophy of my absolute victory. I desire to bring you supremacy. He can absorb and plunder. I want you to know that none can steal me from you and that all who try will be met with failure."

Belial was amused by this display of emotion by such a young creation of his, it was beyond fascinating. "I will have it arranged after my outing, and after you grow to a point where you can fight against him. Yharim." Belial turned to Yharim.

"Ahzad desires a bout with one of your servants. Have it arranged."

"Relanak is not in a state to fight, but even if he was to fight Relanak is to fight his sentinels. You would be dealing with Relanak, Signus, Ceaseless Void, and most importantly here, Shalor. The Devourer of Gods does not do a "fair fight" as a savvy warrior uses all of his resources." Yharim warned

Yharim laughed at this "Ah but how would Shalor and Belial go out for tea when they are enemies? And of course if I'm an enemy of you, that means I'm an enemy of Belial, and as such am an enemy of Rory, which means that the only person that can heal her now is unwilling. Which would send her on a downward spiral and eventually put her in a comatose state." Yharim paused and then added "Now how would having your mom in a state where she could not get up, speak, or do anything besides lie around be Belial? After all, what reason would I have to heal an enemy?"

"My lord, what do you make of this?" Belial rubbed his chin in thought, "Your cunning, Yharim, I'll give you that. But my mother is what most would call... insane. She will live, she will fight. Most who see her fight would think only someone such as the Evil One could truly defeat her without any casualties. It seems the world will not let her die." Belial then looked down.

"I personally have no grudge against you, Yharim. But Ahzad is adamant, and I will not stop him. If he is to challenge your subordinate to a duel to the death, and he was to accept of his own volition, would you think of stopping him even if the possibility of death awaits him? Would it not be a dishonor to deny your servant a chance to prove his absolute superiority to mine? Would that not just be the result of a duel between kingdoms?" Belial walked up to Yhari, holding his hand out to shake Yharim's.

"One day, I will fight you. That does not make us enemies in my eyes. Battle is unfavorable to me, I despite it, but I must explore all possibilities before I cease all violent activity. And I hope you will allow me and Shalor to remain friends when Ahzad emerges with the corpse of the devourer, though I doubt he will desire it." Belial truly did not see Yharim as an enemy, more as a pseudo-comrade. He valued his mother's life, yes, but his curiosity consumed him...

"Of course she will not die, she will however be incapacitated. As for the fight your subordinate wants, Relanak would immediately summon his sentinels, which includes Shalor. And to make it fair I would have to take part in the fight as well, as I passively ressurect my chief subordinates, which includes Relanak and his sentinels, and considering the good relationship I have with Shalor how do you think my death would impact him, and through it any relationship he has with you? I will only permit it if both sides agree to incapacitating the other side, as otherwise Shalor wouldn't take it very well." Yharim said, clearly speaking the truth

"Hm, seems you... As some say, have my balls in a vice, Yharim." Rory then walked up to Belial, placing her hand on his head. "Yeah, no. Declined. Sorry Ahzad, but no. As a mother, I refuse to allow you to ruin a friendship and kill a bunch of people." Belial flinched slightly, "Mother, plea-" His ear was then pulled by Rory.

"No means no. You're grounded. For putting yourself in danger, and for trying to take my prey. The only one to kill Yharim will be me." Rory clenched her fist to signify crushing something...

"I'll take his pissy idea of order, and crush it like a ******* grape! So don't try and steal my prey, kid."

"And yet I feel as if we will be on equal footing for much of your journey for some reason, even through the dimensional ladder. " Yharim commented

"Regardless do you even have a home to ground Belial to? As Yharon said we can make a room for him next to Shalor's, not all of the castle is covered in gold, I think you'd like the aesthetic of Relanak's area if your choice of outfit earlier is any indication."

"I DID NOT CHOOSE THE DRESS STOP MAKING FUN OF ME!" She knew he was talking about the military uniform, but misinterpreted it. "And no, I'll take him somewhere else. I have a few bunkers across the world. Also..." Rory glared at Yharim.

"Equal footing or not, if I was in perfect condition, I'm sure I could end you here and now. Though I'm sure some little gremlin wouldn't allow you to stay dead..."

"Now, come on." Rory dragged Belial along as he struggled, "M-mother..! This is inappropriate..!! Ahzad, help!" Ahzad kneeled down, "The orders of the lord's mother shan't be overruled lest said order acts not in the lord's best interest. I was a fool to seek to kill the one who would detriment the lord's maternal figure. My loyalty prevents me from crushing the one who would instigate a war between the lord and the Golden King at such a meager level of strength."

"
It's fine! You're not going to be punished so please, just help me now..!" Ahzad shook his head, "Denied. This decision shall take in the lord's best interest. Lest we develop a method to heal your mother I shan't allow myself to prevent discipline dealt towards you." Belial gulped...

"...You."

The calamity suddenly showed itself, floating in front of Belial.

"You are like me. We both see the edge of this play. You know it!"

Belial backed up, "...What do you mean? Who are you...?"

"I can see the aura of death and sin coming off of you. If the Evil One annoys you, send him to your master. Either request he is put down, or request he back off from you. He is a mere pet-"

Before the calamity could continue talking, Rory sliced the eye in half with her hand, "Jeez, what sort of jibberish was this thing spewing?"

@DaReaperMan

"Evil One. Someone wishes to talk to you. I don't know who it is. But I know they are important." Belial raised his hand, focusing on Lucifer. "Talk to them." Suddenly...

He was within some weird movie theatre... "Ah, your here. Which master do you serve?" A dark figure walked up to the Evil One, a dark figure, "I'm letting you in here so we can talk. Your messing with my playthings."

"Who is the master you serve? Why are you messing with my children? What do I have to do to you to make it so that you stop? The girl, Rory. She is by far my favorite. So I want to know what plans you have for her. After you tell me which master you serve."

Lucifer laughed "Who do I serve, which Sinner am I an Apostle of? Well, I wouldn't be called Lucifer if I wasn't a dark shadow of his past." Lucifer's power suddenly eclipsed the dark figures own

"As for the plans I have for them, what plans? I am simply enjoying myself! But that Rory is an interesting individual, she claims to want to climb the dimensional structure. I can't help but wonder just how far she will go, or if she makes it to the top." Lucifer paused to laugh and then added "If I was going to kill her, I would have done it the instant Belial came into existence." Lucifer was still laughing

"As for making me stop? Do you think I would have come here without some kind of backup policy? What do you take me for? A moron? No, I only interfere because it interests me, a wonderful show your master has set up, and I will watch it, especially Rory, until the end. And if I have to fight her a few times, who am I to deny a challenge from such an interesting individual?"
