Question about the New Gods

Character who are definitely proven to be above the true New Gods are the Monitors (As FC basically retcons all of Darkseids appearances as avatars, so its hard to say who is above or below him) who are the most primal Forms and lives in a realm where "form and meaning surrenders to the Overvoid"

They're not just called Platonics but they're also described as Platonic.

Anyway, Matthew and Antvasima already disagreed, so I'm going to shut up now and just agree with your suggestion of putting a note on their profile

Well, that does sound rather 1-A-ish, especially in relation to the Overvoid, but as I said, I lack context.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but Batman firing the "essence of bullet" Radion bullet mortally wounded the human body Darkseid had taken, but he keeps chugging along. He is, however, then attacked by the Black Racer, and his metaphysical form is soon destroyed by Superman using "counter vibrations". Despite the Platonic comparison, I do not recall him ever once being portrayed as something that operates on a remotely 1-A scale, and certainly not something utterly immutable to the things "below" him.

Abstract Existence should be fine, I'd think.

Matthew Schroeder said:
They are 2-A actually, the strongest ones. Darkseid was affecting infinite universes, and they are above the infinite universes. Could be High 2-A for existing outside the Bleed, which is 5th Dimensional.
Well, 1-A's already rejected, we're discussing if he should be High 2-A because of this^

Also, I think the Miracle Machine has something to do with Darkseid's destruction

I'm like 99% sure it does, as I don't think Superman could have up and killed Darkseid on his own "because vibrations". I'm just pointing out that there is much more to his defeat than only being shot by the Radion bullet, but also that his true self is not entirely immutable.

Not sure on High 2-A, but it's definitely a possibility.

He could be High 2-A, the Sphere of the Gods transcends the Orrery of Worlds which contains the 5D Bleed and Darkseid's fall damaged the entire Orrery (I assume he also damaged the Bleed as he was basically tearing it apart and dragging it in his singularity where "all is Darkseid")

Yes, High 2-A is a possibility.

That seems to make sense to me, although I like the current image of Orion better.

If Darkseid is upgraded, there's a few other characters that the same also applies to. Orion, Ares, and Zeus all exist on the same plane of existence in their True Forms. All three are already listed the same as Darkseid for their True Form key.

@Ant

I guess we shouldnt change it then

Also, should Darkseid have Empathy and Mind Manipulation with the Anti-Life Equation?

Empathy and mind manipulation seem fine.

Can notes be put in their profile to avoid confusion about the Platonic stuff?

Sure

Also, what do you think about this profile?

They might also need a note or an upgrade because according to their profile, they can travel past Platos realm of Form and Ideas and survive the "Platos Light" that shines upon the ideas themselves

I could see them being 1-A, yes, although that profile looks rather sloppy and not well put together, not to mention its creator probably didn't know the finer aspects about Forms.

I am not sure. What do you think Matthew?

I personally would not mind, but I cannot decide these things by myself.

Ok then, back to Darkseid, I dont think he should just be Massively FTL+, he should be Nigh-Omnipresent, Darkseid is an idea/concept and Darkseid is inside everyone

If he goes to High 2-A, he's going to have immeasurable speed

Anyway, he should still be Nigh-Omnipresent

Actually, I do not think that being spatially higher-dimensional automatically affects speed, mathematically speaking.

Nigh-Omnipresent seems fine though.

Yes, but we need Matthew to clear these changes first. Also, I think that Captain Adam referred to 8-dimensional reality at some point, but may misremember.

He didnt refer to an 8 dimensional reality, he was reading a comic and he said that he saw a Mobius Loop that slides across 8 dimensions

Okay. Does that mean that he is at least 8-dimensional?

IIRC he was thinking about 8 dimensions but he himself is depicted as a 4D being. He's supposed to basically be Dr. Manhattan but I don't think he ever got feats/statements to put him at High 2-A like Manhattan is.

Okay, so "At least 1-C" then?

He can perfectly understand and perceive 8th Dimensional things. He understands he's a character in a comibook due to his higher awareness, and speaks to the reader referring to our world as flat, he was fundamental in creating the Thought Robot, can communicate with the Overvoid without going mad, understanding the nature of the multiverse, and is supposed to be the culmination of the "Superman" concept throughout the multiverse, i.e the strongest version of Superman.

Yes, I also think that "at least 1-C" seems reasonable.

Did he really help create the Thought Robot? Didnt he only sent the essence of Ultraman and Superman to power the Thought Robot? The Thought Robot has been there for a long time
