Speaking of obscure verses...

This verse is obscure to the point that both the game and the company that made the game do not appear anywhere in google search and from what i can tell it is a completely untranslated verse
@Apex_PredatorX seems to have made a rather considerable effort with creating it.

Do you know a lot of the TLs are fan translated in the first place (Fate that is)?

Do you know half of our Masadaverse profiles are japanese based on translations by people here?

We allow them as long as other speakers think they are fine

Then translations for Magic Domain?

How obscure is the series, though? Simply being in a different language doesn't necessarily mean we should delete it. Look at masada, for example.

Seems to be decently popular due to the amount of shit it came up in google.

Unless we have a rule against untranslated stuff, I see absolutely no reason to delete it.

Also it has a official web site from where all the info I posted in my blog cames from.

And sure, a game that can adquire rights to use both Godzilla and Kong at same time must have a good amount of budget and popularity.

And we have a rule about not allowing verses that are 100% untranslated by their company
This is not correct, we made a rule about it several months ago, you can check it in the editing rules page.

Verses that do not possess official English translations are allowed as long as they meet the following criteria:
  • Do not add scans in a language different from English to profiles. The only exceptions are for explicitly visual feats, clear demonstrations of powers and everything that doesn't need to read a text to be comprehended.
  • Always make one or more blogs to explain and demonstrate the content of a profile, including powers, feats and everything that requires reading a text. Blogs must contain scans (or links to them), the original text that is written into them, the proposed translation, references to the source of said scans and any kind of explanation and context needed.
  • The author of said blogs shall provide any further evidence, explanation, scan and so on if asked them by staff members or regular users.
  • Blogs for 2-A or higher tier and particularly controversial powers will be subject to extra scrutiny and will need the approval of staff members.

Later I will link the CRT where it was discussed and accepted.

Yes i agree, we need to look at the translations a bit and make sure everything is right. We should have some experienced chinese translators on the wiki right? I mean we have that verse with the op chinese emperor looking guy after all.

Only big games can gain rights to gvk, to use them to the extent that they do. Clearly the game is popular and big.
Not everything that isn't popular in america is obscene or vague.
I am working on such a verse.
Gegege no kitaro has barely any fans outside of japan, yet in Japan there's statues made of the characters and they're extremely iconic.
Basically, overall, keep the verse but get the translations please.

While I didn't understand like 50% of that okay

I just typed magic domain into YouTube and got results granted it's a mobile game so a lot of people just seem to whine about getting it on PC/console.

It sounds (to me) like the major issue is the verse not having an official translation, right? What's the original language and do we have multiple trusted members that can evaluate Apex's blog?

There's plenty of stuff in the blog as well, so it'll take quite a while to get evaluations from members who can speak the language.

I mean we have a Cat Leopold profile, i bet you nobody besides a russian/knowledgeable in Russia person can tell you who he is, but in Russia he's an extremely iconic character and the cartoon about him was seen by generations of kids.
Plus Nu, Pogodi and Captain Pronin(I'm also planning to add Kikoriki). However to be realistic those cartoons are well iconic that they doesn't need a translation.

If there is a decent explanations blog for this part of the Godzilla franchise, and it is reasonably popular, we can probably keep it.
