The difference is that Vader wasn't Canon to begin with, so he has nothing that Contradicts him being able to beat Algol and Claim the Swords.Darth Vader (Soul Calibur) uses a non-canon ending of the game to scale Vader to Algol and give him the cursed/spirit swords.
They're Non-Canon as well so Nothing Contradicts them either, but why are they relevant here when they don't even have Profiles? What about Yoda's ending? Or the Apprentice's ending?
Indeed. If they will ever have a profile, they will scale to their own ending.
I don't think so? I think it just has to be Unique enough from the original one to stay.Doesn’t it break crossover rules if it is completely non-canon and doesn’t tie into the lore at all?
Eh, not really, here's the rules:I don't think so? I think it just has to be Unique enough from the original one to stay.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind deleting those in that case.OK? He's a Non-Canon Guest Character, but he's Unique enough from the original one that I think he can stay. Also, I feel like if Vader gets called out it's only fair to call out Soul Calibur 3 Link and Soul Calibur PSP Kratos as well for being the same kind of Character.
I can't tell if this working for or against my case. This is exactly what I hope to change one day, as I have always had a problem with that rule in particular.
Smash Bros. is forbidden from having profiles, Mario is literally the first example given on not allowed crossover profiles. Of course, characters created for Smash, such as Mr. Game & Watch or Master Hand, are allowed because they aren't crossovers.Doesn't the Smash Cast already have Profiles? Could've sworn they did.
I mean, they have become quite different from the "main canon" variant since like Brawl. Stickers, Spirits and their general nature makes them unique enought to be worthy of profiles if you ask me.Smash Bros. is forbidden from having profiles, Mario is literally the first example given on not allowed crossover profiles. Crossover page still says they are forbidden, so they are.snip
