Pokémon General Discussion Thread Gen VIII Part 2: Where´s my Primal Arceus?

As many would think, in the National Dex metagame on Smogon (Basically Gen 8 but with all species, Pokémon specific items not in Sw/Sh like Arceus' Plates, Megastones and Z-Crystals), Mega Swampert is used far more than Seismitoad.

Also, TFW Choice Band Dracovish's Fishious Rend always 2HKOs fully invested Toxapex on rain.

With no investment Dracovish outright OHKOs.

At this point you can go ahead, Pokémon GO really needs some profiles now that you mention it.

Also, Smeargle and Mew need a lot more of powers added from their GO movesets.

Pokemon GO actually has like 8 Planet Level trainers now. The Team GO Rocket leaders now have Pokemon so strong that sending Mewtwo to fight them looks more like sending a hamster to fight a panzer tank, and the Team Leaders' Pokemon were able to take them to the cleaners.

>Pokemon so strong that sending Mewtwo to fight them looks more like sending a hamster to fight a panzer tank

Is that actually canon or are you confusing gameplay with actual canon lore in the same vain a lv30 celebi would be ******* floored by a lv100 magikarp's tackle in gameplay but in lore magikarp would be smitten by a thousand pissed off angry trees and laser beams.

Going by this logic as well, Corviknight is actually planet because it's above Kyogre's storm too if taken literally.
Technically that storm got recalced at Low 6-B/6-B
Did it? I mean I'm very well aware it wasn't a storm that covered the entire planet in a few seconds like the old calc would have you believe (initially it was only like 100km) but it did cover hundreds of km in literally a few frames with ******* city sized tornadoes and whirlpools.

Both. Mewtwo (and Rayquaza) from occasions when it was specifically mentioned they allowed themselves to be captured by trainers can be absolutely floored by Team Go Rocket leaders.

Example? I find that to be honestly ridiculous that in canon, as a story beat, Fug and Mewtwo can be stomped by Team Rocket in a battle without any outside intereference or outside of gameplay.

Wait, seriously? What game was that?

And on occasions like this, Legendaries can determine trainers are worthy of using them, yet Team Go Rocket leaders can swat them like a fly if they are untouched straight out of a Raid.

And considering Blanche swept Cliff's team, Spark beat Sierra just barely, and Candela took out 2 of Arlo's Pokemon, who then ran away from her instead of finishing the match, they should likely be superior to the Leaders currently.

Hello!

Since this is the only Pokémon Discussion Thread, I was wondering if you guys could look into this CRT for Missing Unova Pokémo.

Such Pokémon include Jellicent, Excadrill, and Accelgor along much more Missing Unova Pokémon.

If you guys have the time, please look into this CRT.

Edited

Did those two just have profiles made?

Edit: Nvm, Gigalith had a Profile, must've searched his previous evos. Same with Chandelure. I'll remove them from the CRT.

While we are at it, Gen VI (Kalos) and Gen VII (Alola) need a lot of species indexed.

Gen VIII (Galar) can wait, it still lacks the anime to be able to properly scale stuff for the most part (With the notable exception of Galarian variations, like Linoone, Darmanitan, Weezing or Meowth), especially the legendaries (As lowballing to Low 6-B is too much).

Hoenn Linoone and Unovan Darmanitan need pages first.

Of course, I agree that we need to get the rest of the Pokemon added to the site. However, there are plenty of other issues at hand with even the currently indexed Pokemon as well. For instance, plenty of them only feature their final evolution, and does not display their previous evolutions at all. Examples include Crobat, Salamence, and Zoroark.

Plenty more also need their moves and abilities added, as well as proper, descriptive Summaries.

I already did on the tabber of it IIRC.

Base and Zen Mode have the same powers, with the latter simply just having psychic ones amplified.

Linking to Bulbapedia is usually not a good idea as IIRC TM moves aren't allowed, so to avoid confusion, I just listed the notable moves that don't fall in there.

Except for some typos and the fact that it is easier to just link to bulbapedia for their moves, it's very good ƒæì!
We generally prefer if you don't link to other wikis on profile pages.

You know, Smeargle can copy any move in Pokémon with Sketch, with the only techniques it can't actually perform being Hyperspace Fury, Chatter and Dark Void.
