One piece: Eustass Kid vs Queen

ASSIGN:

At face value, assign looks to be the most valuable asset in this match, as it could potentially trap Queen, allowing Kidd to hit him with whatever he wants, but this isn't true.

Queen has extendable limbs. Even if Kidd manages to catch him, which I doubt due to invisibility, Queen can literally just extend his neck, tail, hair, or arm to continue to attack him. Or he could call out the Brachio Launchers, which are voice-activated. Or he could continue to shoot his danmaku lasers from his eyes and/or mouth.

PUNK CORNA DIO:

One of Kidd's strongest abilities it requires Kidd to charge into the opponent. This won't work on Queen for a plethora of reasons.

1. Queen can use some of Niji's abilities to shock the Bull, causing Kidd, who is presumably riding it, to be shocked, stopping him in place.
2. Queen can fill the Bull with holes, rendering it useless.

DAMNED PUNK:

Another one of Kidd' strongest abilities which he usually uses in conjuncture with Assign. As mentioned above, Assign likely won't work, and Damned Punk has quite a large start up time, so even if it did hit Queen, he'd still have time to attack Kidd before he assembles it in time.

The AoE of Damned Punk is virtually non-existent for a attack of its nature, so Queen can simply just dodge it if Kidd decides to use it raw without Assign.

Kidd is rather reckless, and his durability is ******* bonkers.

He could also assign Queen to a wall, summon either Punk Rotten or Damned Punk, then unleash his fury.
Damned punk requires charge time and punk rotten will get shot full of holes before he cant land an attack

Wasn't Wapometal the stuff they used for the Marineford walls or am I tripping?
Because if it were, it wouldn't have been destroyed by Sanji's kick.

What's Wapolmetal?

I didn't ask about Wapometal, I asked about Wapolmetal

Nice, but those are metallic so that's not exactly helping his case. Plus it won't stop him from getting rammed anyway.
Yeah, but to my knowledge, most metals aren't magnetic, so unless we have any info about what Queen is made of, we can't say he'd be attracted.

Most of the metal in OP is magnetic (Kidd gets an assortment of weapons and stuff that all happen to be magnetic) so I wouldn't consider it a stretch to say Queen's arm and machinegun are.

...

I am pretty sure all of these objects we see Kid interacting with are clearly either iron or steel, which are both magnetic, he never attracted something like gold or silver to my knowledge (which aren't magnetic AFAIK).

Ferromagnetic materials are usually transition metals like Iron, Steel, Nickel, and Alloys of rare earth metals iirc.

I don't think we have any proof of whether Queen's cyborg enhancements are made of ferromagnetic materials or not, so I'm not even too sure if his non-awakened abilities would work.

Pfft Queen's metals are definitely magnetic don't start playing coy

Also the argument about Queen not being able to coat his gun in haki is just.... -_-

Other than Sanji, who has dodged DANMAKU laser spam from Queen? Not just one or two lasers. And show scans please.

Also what's the haki scaling looking like between the two

And if anyone were able to, it wouldn't be Kidd, who couldn't dodge a single lightning bolt from Big Mom or a single wind blade from Kaidou.

I think Marco outflew the lasers but that may just be in the anime.
Also again, Queen took long enough to charge those lasers that Marco could throw a fireball into his neck.
I doubt Kidd would stand there, stuck on stupid, as Queen charges a barrage of lasers.

Yep.

I think Queen can definitely coat his robo arms and hair in Haki, but not his weapons (since we never see him doing it to his sword).
That's literally a basic application if haki though, no?

I think the better question is would he rather than can he.

Yeah.
I think the better question is would he rather than can he.
Given the fact that he's a high level experienced Yonko Commander with over 4 decades of fighting experience under his belt, and especially since he's a direct subordinate and one of the right hands of Kaidou, I think it's fair to say that Queen knows how to counter Devil Fruits with Haki, especially when people like Smoker know the weakness of Devil Fruits.

I'm not voting yet I'd like to hear more from the opposing side

I agree, its a stretch to say queen's metal body isn't magnetic
It's not a stretch, that's just how physics works.

From a literally 1st page google search, I found out that Iron, Nickel and Cobalt are the only magnetic (transition) metals (steel for example is an alloy made with iron, that's why it is too).
All metals are magnetic in some way, it's just some are less magnetic then others
Everything is diamagnetic, not everything is ferromagnetic.
