Naruto's oxygen is a lie

Naruto's and Co's following ability should be removed seeing as ninja still need oxygen to breath in higher altitudes and devices to breath at them.

pretty sure KCM Naruto would still have Self Sustainance for surviving on the moon even after his oxygen line was cut. if anything it should be removed from Base Naruto and added to the with Kurama's Chakra section.

I also don't see Self Sustainance on Sai, Sakura, or Shikamaru's profiles.

Yea basically this
Naruto flew away from the moon and reached out to toneri
 
according to that previous thread, there is apparently a part of the novel where Naruto is cut off from his Oxygen supply but can survive with KCM so for now I will be neutral and wait to see if that is the case or not.

It's hard to say cause he passes out once he loses his oxygen thing and uses all his breath. So it's likely that Kurama woke him up or took over his body. More inclined to say he woke him up as they fell.

Cause you can breath on the moon. Around the 2 minute mark she's not touching the moon and by the logic being used to grant Naruto SS type 1 she would also gain it cause he jumped up to touch Toneri.
 
Isn't Naruto sick at that time and can't use his chakra. Naruto needs oxygen in Naruto Retsuden because of the plot

in that case, this seems more like a possibly than a full removal.

even if Kurama did it that would still mean with Kurama's consciousness using Naruto's body in KCM could survive for an undisclosed amount of time without oxygen.

I disagree for now.

Was checking the novelization (a pdf version of it at least) of the movie, and it does say this:

"The stone statue that Kurama had thrown came falling down. The giant statue directly hit Toneri. Sent flying, Toneri floated high up into the air. As he gained height, direct rays from the sun, which had been hidden by Earth’s shadow, illuminated Toneri."

So the novelization (pfd version) does support that Toneri was still within the moon's atmosphere and not in space.

edit: Naruto retsuden still has the instance of him possibly being able self sustain in KCM after losing his connection to his oxygen supply so if anything it's still could be a possibly.

The novel is really used to clear up information not given in the movie. It just goes into greater details of the minute pieces of information that would just be out of place for a film.

So while we see people just on the surface of the moon in the movie, this is literally not explained in the movie how they are able to do so. At least the novel states there is air on the moon. So it's not contradicting, it's just providing more information.

Think of it like the manga and anime, sometimes we use the anime and not the manga since the anime may provide more information or a different perspective (like Madara's Light Fang).

Kaguya hasn't shown herself in space to my knowledge or anything so no.
Hag and Hamura are also no.
Momo, Kin, and Fish alien dude maybe since there shown traveling through space iirc unless there was an explanation on how they traveled to Naruto's planet.

Depends on how people interpret these scenes, since the profiles are currently are mix of the anime ang manga, and Kinshiki's Self-Sustenance comes from them

Nah Kaguya is an otsutsuki like Momo and others so yes she has self sustenance , and you do know when hag and hamura first created the moon and hamura went there was would be no oxygen yet as it was still bare, artificial oxygen was created eventually to allow other members of the otsutsuki(humans) live on the moon.
