Naruto's oxygen is a lie

The oxigen that already exists in the atmosphere does not just puffs away if all lifes disappears. Hell, this would actually make it harder to vanish because now there's no one to consume it (not to mention than a planet has enough to last for eons even if there's no way to regenate it back and only beings that consume it. PLANETS ARE FRICKING MASSIVE, GUYS).

Like, wtf even is this argument?!

The argument you made is built on nothing other than oxygen already exist so it dosent just puff away which is extremely fallacious and contrived, bruh google up what is a barren planet, check the conditions needed for life and oxygen. plants , oceans ,marine life and everything makes up 90% of oxygen , stop being ignorant and bring up an actual basis to reject other than headcannon.

You comparing irl barren planet than never had life, or had it billions of years ago, to planets from naruto that just lost said life is a non-argument. IRL planets don't just magically became barren without an atmosphere, but after a long process that can take up to millions (if not billions) of years.

The entire premise of your arguments is completely faulty.

Did you even see the scan of the world Momoshiki drained of an unidentified world that exist in the same dimension of the Naruto verse , Bruh nothing there showed he waited for billions of years for it to become barren , more details and information is even hinted at in the novel cause, we can clearly see its barren in the scan , and the novel goes on to give further description . IT WAS A SHORT TIMEFRAME , stop making up baseless assumptions and theories.

Your mistake is thinking anyone would willingly watch the Urashiki arc.
Your mistake is trying to nerf a verse without even following it.

By the way, what else is being discussed here? Naruto must maintain self-sustainability, he survived at 200km altitude, this is already outer space, he just survives, regains consciousness and flies back to Earth. All Otsutsuki must also maintain self-sustenance.

Basically this thread is useless.

Following Naruto =/= Boruto.

Alot of assumptions there that he wasn't falling back towards the earth. Which you know gravity exist, like why would he just be flying around all of a sudden when he lost consciousness. Disagree they all get it cut since manga =/= anime now.
Basically this thread is useless.
Already got a mod to agree so not really.

Try and get more mod's to come comment.

For anyone who gets it due to being on the moon
the only one who has it via moon justifications is Toneri so that should be removed

But Naruto has it for breathing in space with KCM in Naruto Retsuden.

And the Otsutsuki have it for being planet hopping aliens who we've seen above the atmosphere.

For anyone who gets it due to being on the moon
No one who has been to the Moon has this in their profiles. The feat is for Naruto to pull Toneri out of space. And there's also the event we talked about in the Retsuden novel, that he stays alive in space and comes down to Earth.

Self-sustenance it's the ability to survive in space, do you know what would happen to Naruto if he didn't have self-sustenance and resistance to cosmic radiation? it would happen:

The novel says that he lost the rest of the oxygen he had in his lungs to scream for Kurama, and after that, he lost consciousness. He loses consciousness and oxygen and still survives 200km, isn't that self-sustenance? it can only be a joke

We need of more staff comments here, as several counter-arguments have been presented. I hope they read all comments, because this post misleads people, because it makes people who haven't followed the series completely think that people who were on the moon have self-sustenance in their profiles. No people gets self-sustenance from being on the moon, this was discussed in another post.

That is quite the way to miss my entire point completely. Yes, Momo made the planet barren by absorbing all the biosphere on it into the Shinju trees, but as I've stated, that won't make the planet's atmosphere disappear. The "millions/billions of years" part of my argument is because you used IRL planets as proof of your argument, while you completely ignored how those planets became how they are and directly attributed their conditions to Momo's planet based on just a few similarities (the non-existence of a biosphere). This is a false equivalence that you are trying to use here, which is a fallacy.

Anyway, Momo erasing all the biosphere on the planet with the Shinju Trees doesn't mean that the planet's atmosphere also disappeared, unless you have explicit proof of that.

In the Boruto novel it mentions that the Planet where Kinshiki and Momoshiki was having the surface bombarded by synchrotron radiation, that are emitted by Pulsars, quasars or active galactic center. A planet having its surface hit by this type of radiation means that in addition to being close to one of the 3 things that it also means that it most likely has no atmosphere.

Ninjas, as shown in the scans, can create oxygen they need to survive with their own chakra if there is none.
So if that goes against Self Sustenance 1 which does say surviving without oxygen at all, then that's fine.

I've asked others I think or was that a different thread?

They need a device to do so though in the scan.

Wait so Naruto was at 400 KM? Are you telling me the author himself is wrong when he put 660,000 feet which equals about 200 KM?
Naruto was at 200KM, the ISS orbits at 420KM above the earth.

But other than that, people can't survive in the Thermosphere without similar gear to astronauts.

At about 8 kilometers (5 miles) altitude, there’s insufficient oxygen in the air to sustain human life. At around 19 kilometers (12 miles) altitude, your blood boils unless you’re in a pressurized environment. https://climate.nasa.gov/news/2914/the-atmosphere-earths-security-blanket/

Good thing they had the device to supply oxygen to them.

Cause people kept saying they were in space, and I got curious enough to google it.
But he was, the Kármán line is the conventional limit used by NASA to define the limit between atmosphere and outer space. This line is at an altitude of 100km.

Do you have the scans for this, please?

So you saying earths atmosphere ends at 100km?
NASA considers the limit between the atmosphere and outer space to be around 100-122km. And even if we consider that not, it would still be irrelevant, because at an altitude of 200km oxygen does not exist in the "breathable form"(O²) but in atomic form (O). That is, it is completely useless for humans, it is not breathable, in addition to the fact that there are very few of them there, In fact, all particles exist in very small quantities there, it is considered almost a perfect vacuum. In short, Surviving at this altitude is a feat of self-sustenance.

Should Sasuke get it to for being up there with him?

EPILOGUE Somewhere on an unidentified world. Its doomed sun burned red, spitting synchrotron radiation with each death rattle, bathing its russet-colored terrain in the brilliant hues of an aurora. In the heart of a ruined metropolis brimming with countless corpses, a small figure dressed in nobleman's finery, veil unsullied by even a mote of dust, sat atop a massive tree stump and gnawed upon something. At first glance he appeared to be a handsome youth, but he wore a ruthless expression that oozed malice and vile cunning, and from his head grew a pair of horns that curved forward, dispelling any notion that he was human. Both of his eyes were white -- Byakugan. "Hmm... For a world with such a low civilization level, I suppose the fruit was adequate." The prize he had seized was the Divine Tree that had grown in these lands... now cruelly cut down and bereft of its fruit. For no other reason than to "harvest" it, this world, and those who dwelled upon it, had been effortlessly destroyed. "So, how did it go?" With his back still turned, the silhouette of a stout man emerged from a spacetime ninjutsu behind him... Garbed in clothing of a similar design, with a single thick horn protruding from his skull and the bearded face of a giant, he replied with a voice like ice. "In Kaguya's world, I observed significant tears. The space curvature has broken 16." "Oh? We were supposed to wait to harvest that world..." The smaller individual answered without a hint of emotion. He didn't even turn around. "Right. If the space curvature exceeds ten, law dictates that we must immediately report it to the clan as an abnormality." The giant stood at attention and nodded respectfully. It was obvious which of the two was in command, despite their respective ages; perhaps there was more to them than met the eye. "For her to neglect her duties... That would mean that she has either chosen to disobey the clan, or..." It was hard to fathom, but could she have been overthrown and destroyed by inferior lifeforms? Normally such a thing would be impossible... However, if it were true, he imagined that it would make for an "exceptionally interesting" situation. Unlike this pitiful heap, such a planet might have an abundance of ripe chakra truly worthy of being eaten. "Kinshiki, make preperations to depart." "As you wish, Lord Momoshiki." Twisting his mouth wickedly, he who devours chakra -- nay, he who devours worlds -- rose to his feet. * * * The day of that clash draws near. For now, his father's true greatness, and the burden of his heavy fate... these are things the boy is unaware of. However, regardless of the hardships he may face, with the Will of Fire that dwells in his eyes, like the shining sun, he will light the way to his future... with his friends, together. For this... is his story.

Jokes on you I can't read this.

From what it seems the radiation is from the sun, and the aliens use space time ninjutsu to travel worlds.
