I'm sure that several arguments will be made regarding different scaling avenues.

I think my proposition for the scaling of Boruto God tiers should be fine, there's not much leeway interpretation wise except the 'but muh output' argument which I don't think will be that big of an issue. Though, there's also the 'Strongest technique' thing that could be done. So yeah, several arguments are possible, I guess.

Well, basically, we can't physically scale them to Six Paths Chibaku Tensei, since for all intents and purposes, it's an exceptional feat far surpassing their normal output. That's the downgrade in a nutshell.

Pray the upcoming God Tier revisions will treat the verse better.

Their physicals cannot scale to even half of a technique that uses the Chibaku Tensei, which is one of the strongest Rinnegan Jutsu, combined with the power from within their seals. Also, the Jutsu they were scaling from was used by Hagoromo and Hamura.
