I'm going with Roshi he has better versitility with Zanzoken and Bankou Bikkuri Sho and with Suiryu not very likely to take it seriously until last minute the only problem is Roshi can't hold MAX Power for long

Along with Roshi's experience and further knowledge in martial arts even if Roshi can't k.o. him he doesn't have to, simply knock him out the ring

Roshi actually also knows pressure points and can fight via that way. Roshi also has vastly more experience and also has illusionary techniques.

suiryu absolutely stomps his stats are massively higher when it comes to pure strength, a single punch from him would kill roshi with ease, suiryu has no ki or energy so all of his power comes directly from his physical body meaning muscle and because of that his body defense is also increase,

roshi power comes directly from Ki, in a direct fight against suiryu roshi stands no chance

Lol what first verse equalization and second even if that wasn't the case that's not how dbz ki works

"a single punch from him would kill roshi with ease"

Which would disqualify Suiryu and cause an immediate loss for him per the rules of the OP.

"suiryu has no ki or energy so all of his power comes directly from his physical body meaning muscle and because of that his body defense is also increase,"

Verse equalization is a bitch ain't it? Also, Ki also enhances durability. The hell are you talking about with this point.

"roshi power comes directly from Ki, in a direct fight against suiryu roshi stands no chance"

How in the actual **** does power coming from Ki make him weaker when Ki amps everything anyways?

"I believe Suiryu wins because of durability"

So you're gonna completely ignore ring-outs, Pressure Points, Illusions to achieve said Ring-Outs... No?

Maybe not a massive skill gap but Suiryu is no super master martial artist either considering he doesn't take it too seriously. And considering Roshi could fight Kid Goku on an equal level in terms of skill and has lived for 200+ years by this point, and training under Korin the cat and training 50 years to perfect his KameHameHa, I'd say it's pretty safe to assume he has more combat skills than Suiryu

First off,it is necro.Second, why people think that Roshi is more skilled than Suiryu?Because he is older?
People can't seem to understand that different animes work with different rules. For example it took Saitama 3 years to become a planet buster (I think Saitama honestly is 5-B), while Goku took 6 years.

Suiryu Fra, It has an advantage of AP in addition to being able to divert energy from a monster, and slaughter it quickly.
There is also no real difference as far as martial arts is concerned.

AP advantage is moot when you're NOT ALLOWED TO KILL. This is a tournament setting; murder is straight disqualification (Suiryu's loss) and prison time since this is a public arena.

Also hell no there's no difference. There's an incredibly insane difference of someone who dedicated their life to Martial Arts and has lived 200 years with it and someone who's a prodigy and jokes with it and doesn't really take it seriously.

I don't know which one was accepted, but Roshi is either 7.4 Megatons or 31 Megatons.

And Suiryu scales to 9.36 Megatons.

So at best Suiryu holds a slight AP advantage and at worst he's 3x weaker.

Roshi's versatility, experience and combat mindset are better than Suiryu's, so even being slightly weaker he'd try to use Thunder Surprise or something like that to win.

Voting Roshi.

Add in the fact that Roshi has much more experience and likely skill than Suiryu, and this is probably a secured victory for him.

Roshi fra

I'm so original ovo.
