Kingdom Hearts: KH and Zeus are a lie plus KH (World) upgrade

KieranH10 has evaluated the calculation.

As said before, we should wait for the "controlling the sea" site-wide revision to be done and be consluded before actually applying the tiering changes, namely to avoid having to do it all again if suddendly something on that aspect changes.

@KingPin0422 Any updates on this?

The most we'd have to change is if the site wide revisions accepts it as High 6-A, in which Low 6-B just changes to High 6-A, it's not anything major that requires us to wait.

Well, when over 100 profiles are subject to this change it is relevant, unless someone is willing to update all the profiles as necessary over this just to get the current indexing up to date for a few days.

I think we should first take care of the KH stuff since that's the main topic here, then use this for a wide revision. At least we'd be over with this thing.

@KingPin0422 and Bobsican

For how long would we have to wait for this revision to finish?

I can't give an exact time frame or even an estimation right now, but if I were to make the revision for "controlling the seas" feats right now, and I was allowed to do so, then I do not think that we would have to wait very long. I already did some math for my piece on the revision that gives it a potential new tier of Low 7-C. Unless someone defends High 6-A or comes up with a more accurate tier, I am sure that the discussion will go smoothly and quickly.

I guess it depends on the answers to the following questions:
  1. Do we have any other site-wide revisions that are ongoing or that will be started soon? I know that there is the one DontTalk started, but it is going relatively slowly due to a lack of staff input and still isn't ready to be applied, so I do not see it as a factor.
  2. Are we in a good enough position to start the revision, even if there are no other site-wide revisions planned at this time?

We need to finish DontTalk's tiering system revision along with AKM's Discussions template additions project, so the controlling the seas tier update will likely have to be gradual.

However, I do not think that a lot of characters scale from such a feat, and we could simply check which profile pages that link to the previous calculation to find out what we have to update.

Low 7-C? I thought Ursula's calc was Low 6-B.
Ursula is an exception, not the rule. She has context that puts her version of the feat far higher than Low 7-C.

The former is going to take a bit longer, I'd imagine, since Ultima needs to finish up some revisions before he can present his case for why type 4 transduality should stay, but I suppose that's fair enough.

As for the second part, Kingdom Hearts has over 100 profiles that would need to be edited, but Ursula's version of the feat has been accepted to be Low 6-B, not Low 7-C or whatever other tier such a feat will be. Still, this revision will affect hundreds of profiles for sure, so now that I think about it, it might be best to conclude and apply the projects being overseen by DontTalk and AKM first before I make the revision for feats of controlling the seas, which I'm expecting to take a good while.

Now, for tiering... in my opinion, it might be best if we kept High 6-A for now. I mean, we risk having to edit nearly all of the files of the verse twice whether we do that or downgrade to Low 6-B, but High 6-A corresponds to our current standards, and I'd argue that it's more intuitive to rate profiles based on current standards than on potential new standards that may not even be accepted. Plus, we already have High 6-A on the profiles based on Ursula's feat, so that saves us a good chunk of work for the first round of edits.

Okay then. So do the KH profile pages still need to be updated to High 6-A, or has that work been finished already?

Some of them already have High 6-A listed, but others still have the High 4-C and 3-A ratings, which were agreed to be inaccurate. Also, from what I can tell, it's been decided that only Xehanort's last key, the χ-blade's second key, and Sora and Kairi's last keys should have the "possibly 5-A" rating, and only with an amp for the latter two.

Okay. Are any of you willing to help Bobsican with properly updating the KH pages then?

Thank you for helping out. It is appreciated.

Please remember to carefully read through and follow the instructions in our Common Editing Mistakes page, so no badly structured edits are made, and extensive cleanup work will not be necessary.

If you change the statistics for any characters, also remember to update the tier categories at the bottoms of the profile pages.

We thought it would be better for now to simply edit the profiles to this tier because it corresponds to our standards for now. We'll edit them later but for now it's ok to just put them to this tier.

All of the profiles should be up to date, but one last thing remains: shouldn't Donald and Goofy also scale to "possibly 5-A" with amps? They fought Armored Xehanort as Sora and Kairi did, and their power also contributed to Sora's final attack that one-shot Xehanort with the χ-blade.

Well, I applied the edits.

Since the tier downgrades are fully applied now (unless something was skipped over), are we planning to downgrade speed next in a follow-up CRT?

Are you all absolutely certain that all of the relevant profile pages have been edited? And if so, should I close this thread?

Thank you very much for the help. Should I close this thread then?

I suppose that you may go ahead and do so. More downgrades are planned in the future for speed, but everything that's been proposed in this thread seems to have been accepted and applied.

Okay. I will close this thread then.
