Demon lord rimuru is awakened demon lord. So, I think you're talking about pre-harvest festival which is when he becomes demon lord and awakens. So, rimuru is more experienced than diablo and has gluttony which can absorb diablo's magic as rimuru absored shion's energy ball. I don't think gluttony can be reflected as it is a unique skill so rimuru stomps by just using gluttony to eat diablo.

Also, rimuru can use predator and great sage to copy diablo's magic and even if diablo has magic reflection, rimuru is massively stronger than diablo at close combat.

So, Rimuru stomps with little difficulty and no difficulty with gluttony.

Guys, look at Rimuru's profile. He has a demon lord key and an awakened demon lord key. The abilities and tiering of both are clearly separated. I don't understand the confusion here.

But when he became a demon lord, he already got awakened. Arch demons which are weaker than demon lords are already town level so there is a difference. I don't remember rimuru calling himself a demon lord before harvest festival so I don't know why rimuru has that key. It should be called pre-harvest festival.

Literally anyone that possesses the Demon Lord Seed is a Demon Lord. Which Rimuru is because he obtained it from Orc Disaster. Awakened Demon Lord mean those seeds have been budded. Even someone who have already possesses the status of a True Hero and thus cannot make the seed bud still counts as a Demon Lord as in the case with Leon Cromwell

Basically what Thok said, pre-harvest festival rimuru has the demon lord seed and in the harvest festival that seed budded, hence 6-A rimuru is "awakened demon lord"
