HwG-Bracket Round 19 (Joo Seo Cheon vs Strelok)

Time to do pro gamer move, aka:

If saying shortly Strelok rifle range is higher, up to hundreds of meters. So keeping this high range for Strelok with his gun and survival skills and he would win.

So, I'm pretty much voting for Strelok via his range, experience and skills.

Keep in mind that cover exists, though.

That is true and gives advantages to both.

However considering Strelok's high skill with opponents, including the ones which hides in covers he can pull out tricks to take a win.

For instance wait for a perfect moment when shot can be pretty damagable, considering distance, Strelok have time to take some strategies before range got enough for Joo to use techniques.

So I'm still pretty sure at Strelok winning.

In physical stats Joo is superior by a lot.

Joo is more skilled combatant between them - one is an old man who went back in time with 87 years worth of experience from all kinds of fields like medicine, poisons, sword arts, and martial arts. At the same time, him creating plans to control the two biggest powers in the world - Murim Alliance and the Dark Heaven.
He is also a martial artist with tons of experience, can create after-images, can create airwaves to attack with sword swings, can absorb energy from the world to recover his one if the fight is prolonged, and can use his energy for multiple uses.

Not like Joo will stay in open and fight since he like to will not underestimate his foes.

While he is outranged his skills, experience, higher stats, stamina and stamina regen plus his airwaves creation will help him a lot vs someone who will remain without bullets and will exhaust faster and won't be able to exert himself as much as Joo.

Technically yes he's very strong at close combat. That's why the range is pretty important for Strelok, cause Strelok is very strong at guns. He can liquidate groups simply by guns or knive, and experienced many supernatural stuff, from mutants to anomalies.

So despite of Joo not having gun, Strelok would be already aware and while Strelok can remain without bullets for sniper rifles, he still have others long ranged rifles, on emergency Strelok also have shotguns which are hard to avoid in close combat.

So despite of being less experienced in close combat and having more limits with weapons he should be enough prepared to most of situations.

Joo can also fight with multiple foes who are strong in all varieties of arts from poisons, sword users, spear users, sabers, archers (who can shoot from several hundreds of meters afar), energy users, and the like. He's experienced enough to fight combatants of all kinds of masters in their arts so it won't be that big of a problem.

Shotguns may be hard to avoid for normal humans but for him who has the stronger physical abilities won't be that much of a problem as he has his energy manipulation from the sword arts which creates multiple attacks at the same time that can go in different directions so it won't be much of a problem to combine them with his fortes in experience/skill and superior base statistics to overwhelm the difference in equipment.

Strelok 3 : 1 Joo

Currently seems like Strelok advances, but I will wait a little longer before I proceed in case any more arguments come in.

Dang, almost forgot about this.

Well, I would have hoped for some more arguments, but the way it looks Strelok advances. Next match soon.
