Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

So we get to see lucifer, guy is depressed after lilith left.He is overprotective of charlie and doesn`t see sinners worth redemming Alsotr can turn giant sized. Alsotar is also impiled by husky to be on the control of someone possibly lilith, Turns out vaggie is actually an exterminator angel, she fallen after she didn`t want to mindlessles kill demons. The extermination is kept secretf from the other angels..

Honestly, I get that feeling w/pretty much every new show that's been coming out recently. I'm hoping this doesn't end up getting axed at two seasons; HH needs much more than that!

I can only assume it's because they were only given the 8-16 episodes so they wanted to get the story through as quickly as they could. Can't really rely on getting greenlit again since that depends mostly on ratings so why risk it.

Do we think that we can take lucifer and alastor's duet at face value for evaluating their powers?
every other song has only shown the characters singing and mostly doing things they could already do, (other than adam having a second long scene where he makes charlie crawl up a cliff out of nowhere but a second later when the scene cuts back there is a cut on the paper charlie is holding right after lute slashed at her while she was climbing and in ep6 adam made a portal so idk maybe that was real) but their song showed a lot of reality warping. it was already established that alastor could make things out of thin air and in the pilot charlie's song had similar effects to what lucifer does so probably?

Don't see why not
Given how Vaggie got mutilated and hasn't regenerate her missing wings and eye, it's also safe to assume that angelic/holy weapons can permanently harm anyone, including fallen angels like Charlie and Lucifer.
 
isn't the regeneration exclusive to sinners? vaggie is an angel so she shouldn't have it

yeah but the regeneration and immortality is specifically made for them to suffer as much as possible, that doesn't fit for the angels who are always happy in heaven
 
Just caught up to the series and a gotta say i've been enjoying it a lot more than i expected. Like yea the pacing sucks and some of the jokes make me cringe but overall it's a blast and you can really tell the people behind it put in a lot of love.

Also Lucifer is the bestest character ever and i really wanna make his profile

Well, the page was made at a time when there was only the pilot of the two series (I think) so it's kind of bleh.

And it's outdated now that we know that probably only sinners have those immortalities and regeneration.

I'm just going to see if this series will be in the same condition as Record of Ragnarok. Until there is discussion and it is talked about but nothing happens.

This is not enough for type 1 immortality, we only know that he lived a long time, but I don't remember it being said that he is immortal, it's better to exchange it for longevity.

Lucifer is not a demon, he is still an angel. I don't remember any statement that he became a demon or that he has the properties of one.

Furthermore, these immortalities are practically only valid for sinners, since in Helluva Boss we see several demons dying for normal weapons.

feel like we can take what he's shown to do in the song as literal for the reasons i said before.
every other song didn't have any massive things the characters couldn't do before
also, the songs are canonical, in ep 4 when Loser Baby finished the shark demon said that angel and husk were singing

Despite how long I've been on this wiki, I'm not 100% sure. I've done an edit like that on a profile w/out permission once but that was b/c someone made DS's Yoriichi 1-A o_O🤣 Since this most likely a typo problem, I think it'll be alright.

For the record i have yet to watch Helluva Boss beyond the first two episodes so i might be wrong, but don't those abilities come from angelic weapons, which Lucifer has never been shown to have access too
