Luffy's Goal is to surpass him. Hes not there yet. Not even with G5, he is close tho. Post Hao Luffy gets decimated still

Canonically Roger kicks him to the curb. In a VS Roger also kicks him to the curb, there are things that can't be changed I think that I agree with inconclusive.

Voting for Luffy thanks to superior repertoire of abilities. Narratively, I agree that Roger should win however by the site's standards Roger just doesn't have anything that Luffy can't do.

Know it's a bit late, but I also vote for Roger. I believe his feats of Haki and ability to clash on even footing with Primebeard are impressive enough, and despite everything Luffy's accomplished, I still think his Haki and Devil Fruit aren't at that level, considering Kaido was exhausted from his repeated battles while Luffy got re-energized with his G5 awakening.
