Four Knights of the Apocalypse/Nanatsu no Taizai Main Discussion Thread

anywho its w.e . But new trailer dropped and they show SD attacking the sins so ya we will finally get to see her in action via new movie

Percival's magic is called "Hope"

It literally power-up itself as long as someone has "hope" in him, he was dead and breathless as it was confirmed by Nascien but when Donny said: "Well if he is around, it is bound to work somehow"

A Golem appears out of nowhere on his own, then when Nascien and Anne started their pep talk and having hope too, there were more and more, amplifying it by itself through the "Hope" of others.

And Percival revived through it and became even stronger than before, that is some conceptual manip right there similar to Mask the Masculine or Gerard's power from Bleach but far more versatile and with a greater range as Donny wasn't even there when he started having hope in Percival.

It is a better approach than Nakama power, it is literally the MC's ability, well done Nakaba. An ability fitting for a "Hero" of the people, this makes more sense with his magic type which is Hero type, the rarest type of all.

Remember when he fought Pellegarde? His magic suddenly manifested itself when the little kid started having hope in Percival like "Percival isn't going to lose", incredible everything is fitting and makes sense now.

Hope>Nakama and it is ironic (and fitting) that his power is Hope as he is literally the Knight of Death, Hope is the antithesis of Death which is the epitome of Despair.

His magic is extremely versatile with endless possibilities as there is still more to it, we are at the beginning of the sequel.

Also, with each power-up, he converses the power-up as we saw in his fight against Talisker, he could make huge magical energy-like structures like giant hands and swords, and later on, he could do it again at will against his Father on his own with no issue.

Now, with this new power-up, he and his golems can fly, his magical cap can make wings and extend itself, only the Helmet's ability remains.

Quite an interesting magic, it doesn't depend on the user, the user can be dead and the magic would still be able to activate itself.

Yeah Nakaba isn't capable of dealing with such a broken ability, this is gonna open plot holes in the future.

in a way it wont, since this ability literally goes against plot holes... nabaka did this so the ability can help out in ANY situation so its another merlin type thing where he is the PLOT

Merlin was overpowered offensively, while she could do pretty much everything needed to her enemies.
Percival is overpowered defensively, where he pretty much can't die with no known drawbacks yet.

Well, I think we will see the overpowered offensive version of Percival soon.

He seems to conserve each power-up that his magic goes through "hope" of others around, and then, later on, he can use said power up at will on his own, as showcased from the fight against Talisker, his magic suddenly power up and he could manifest giant magical energy structures like a hand or a sword.

Later, he could activate the same level of magic at will against Ironside, and here again, he went another power-up and got the ability to fly, that kid is a monster and his potential is far higher than the rest.

Percival can die and he did die, the potion Nascien gave him revived a single golem and that was enough for him to revive. Without the potion he would've permanently died.

No, actually it was Donny's hope in Percival when he said: "well because Percival is there, everything will be alright. "

Right after that instant, a Golem appear out of nowhere, the potion didn't do anything here, he couldn't even drink it because he was dead.

Donny's hope in Percival is what manifested that Golem, keep in mind that before that, both Nascien and Anne were feeling despair because of the situation therefore Donny being away is actually what saved them.

Then when each started to recover some hope, the number of Golem increased little by little, then when Donny came, it went exponentially higher because he was the one who had the most faith and hope in Percival. That helped him to come back to life and grow even stronger than before.

so new video, zeldris used some hellfire which he just points too but at the end it would seem that we might be getting some new data books

I like how his companions aren't useless but help him in an intelligent way, Anne helped him to not get tricked by his lies, Nasiens's poison helped at dulling the precision of his movement, and finally, Donny helped to lift the coffin without being noticed by Ironside and it is so believable because he is indeed a fodder to him and he was focused on Percival's elimination alone.

And finally, Percival managed to separate the CoED (and cutting his helmet) while playing like a jet, I also like that despises his power-up, he wasn't still a match for Ironside in a frontal confrontation. He just gained the ability to fly this time, that is it.

Nice team effort, each one of them played his role nicely.

well seems this gonna up the scaling if their all seem to be injuring the SD , tho i feel this video shows too much.

We'll see, I mean this could be another scenario where Merlin, Gowther, and Diane are "fighting" the Demon King

Awww shit
