Little bit about Magic in Nanatsu no Taizai and Four Knight of Apocalypse

Magic in Nanatsu no Taizai and the Four Knights of Apocalypse is the user's willpower and thought, which means that all magic users in the series must have Supernatural Willpower. Since magic is also thought of the user, so they can interact with abstract things like Chaos.

Magic and spirit are separate things.

Great spirit strength means more powerful magic we could give Supernatural willpower to those with high Spirit power like we did for Dreyfus that has visible effects like resistance to Acid and illusions etc…

We could give it to Isolde that used her willpower and boosted her powers heavily.

But not to everyone magic and spirit can go in synergy but can also exist one without the other

As an exemple Chaos is a will without a will that subcounsciously protect Arthur yet he can use magic which obviously show how both aren’t necessarily tied together.

But I can agree about magic powers being born from will/spirit itself.

According to Merlin, Spirit is a state of mind the user has in battle, which means that anyone can have a spirit level, even ordinary Knights. Magic is a user's willpower and thought, because it is born/manifests from the user. Not everyone possesses magical power, only awakening just like Slader did in his past.

They have a base lvl of Spirit we don’t know if it really evolves I would priorise feats and not generalise it to everybody

If willpower was needed Chaos wouldn’t be able to use magic

The spirit is determination/will etc…

I’m neutral waiting for other people to comment this

Just because magic is born from willpower does not automatically mean said willpower is on the level needed for Supernatural Willpower.

Just because magic is born from thoughts doesn't mean it can affect abstract, intangible, or incorporeal things.

I think we should give Supernatural Willpower to those who have feats or a higher Spirit than Dreyfus

For the record Dreyfus can:

Resist acid depending on his will

Resist Illusions depending on his will

Damage people far stronger than him as long as his will remain unbroken

Isolde could boost her damage output to the point of Damaging Meland despite being a simple Holy Knight

King could negate the effects of Mael’s Scythe via sheer willpower transforming into fully grown form

Meliodas can stand against 3 opps on par With him despite taking heavy damage pushing himself beyond his own limits.

Other characters might have feats but i don’t remember them all

We could put up a baseline for Supernatural willpower like

1000 Spirit (Spirit of Dreyfus)

Or feats

Dreyfus state that magic are strength of will and thought manifest from user's body not really born from it
