Nanatsu no Taizai: Upgrade FTL+

How sure are we that the "speed of light attack" statement here is literal and not a hyperbolic / figurative statement?
I mean the main issue to me is that text being used for SOL basis is removed from the volume version. It was solely editor text. Which we don't count afaik.

The Q&As are also removed from the volume version, even though Nakaba himself answers them.

I remember Makai saying that Nakaba is involved in the editor's notes; I'll see if I can find the scans

I mean, that's difficult to use then in my view. If the only source exists in a magazine and is not included in the finalized product in any capacity, I'm not sure if its useable.

I’m confused, just because it’s edited out of the volume(probably to make the page less of a cluster) why shouldn’t an author answering a Q&A difficult to use?

This doesn't really make sense, given that it's in the official fanbooks, as well as being the author's own word issued by official means (manga). They probably removed it from the volumes so as not to pollute the visuals.

Apparently, in the top right-hand corner, it says that the Q&A was created by Nakaba.

It is, side texts are always edited out, tho q&a corner is considered canon

Should be
I've updated the OP because I've had a calculation accepted and this may serve to change the Speed of Light quote, what's your opinion on the scale up?

We have this new calculation for Meliodas that places all the characters from the first season as Sub-Relativistic, and this calculation for Gowther to support it.

Meliodas base equal to Arthur base

In the profiles, we see that Meliodas only scales to Arthur's base in his second mark, which is actually incorrect. For most of the fight, we see that Meliodas stays in his base form, transforming only once to push Arthur away. As we can see, his attacks are aimed at pushing Arthur away; so much so that instead of trying to strike him with a sword, Meliodas kicks him away and returns to his base form. You might argue that Arthur wasn't serious, but neither was Meliodas. He was there just to calm his son down. As we can see, he even turned his back on Arthur. He wasn't there to fight him, and even while holding back, Arthur says he would have been badly hurt if Tristan hadn't intervened. However, Meliodas only used the mark after Tristan intervened, so he was probably referring to Meliodas in his base form.

Arthur could only have hurt Meliodas at that moment while he was in his base form, instead of his demon form. Base Meliodas can relatively well withstand a casual attack from Chaos.

I used the anime to show that the one who saved Tristan and was injured by base Arthur was base Meliodas. It's a bit harder to notice this in the manga, but the anime makes it clear.

physical attributes

Merlin tells us that strength equates to a person's physical attributes.

We see this in practice when Ban steals half of Galand's strength becomes slightly faster than him. Before, Ban couldn't keep up with Galand

Vas Zygra faces Pellegard and, after defeating him, says he wasn't using his full strength. But after merging with Percival, he has a burst of power and becomes much faster when using his 'full' power.

Sealed base Meliodas, increasing his speed to Mach 0.01c (Sub-Rel).

Using a 2x multiplier for Meliodas and Zeldris' Demon Marks was accepted here, and Snatch being additive in speed, LS and AP was accepted here.

Demon Meliodas outsped Snatch Ban, who absorbed all of his base speed and added it to his own (Ban was slightly faster than Meliodas prior). Mach 0.02c (Sub-Rel).

Galand at half speed (since Ban stole it from him) mostly keeps up with a much faster Snatch Ban 0.04c (Sub-Rel)

Base Unsealed Meliodas is way faster than Galand, and 2nd Mark is a 4x multiplier. 0.16c (Rel)

Post-Revival base Meliodas is superior to his 2nd Mark, as he could wreck Derieri, and 2nd Mark is once again a 4x multiplier. 0.64c (Rel+)

Pellegard, at half his strength, is superior to Percival before absorbing the demons' hope. The latter is equal to Melagaland. Pellegard, at full strength. 1.28c (FTL)

Ludociel 1c

Base Post-Pugatory Meliodas, overpowered Demon Zeldris in his first form. This is the same Demon King that Mael says he couldn't fight against, and 2nd Mark is once again a 4x multiplier. 4c (FTL)

Ban, with 1/10 of his physical attributes, overpowered Ironside. In his normal state, he is 12.8c (FTL+)

Base 4KoA Meliodas is equal to base Arthur, who easily cut Cath into numerous pieces before he noticed. This same Cath was equal to an enlarged Demon Mark Meliodas in a potential future, and 2nd Mark is once again a 4x multiplier. 16c (FTL+)

Currently neutral, leaning against it - unless there is more to support the ratings.

What is your opinion on this?
