AoG Venus isn't the actual Venus but what they believed it to be back then. AoG Venus didn't actually exist as a planet.

Gaia called the other Worlds for help, not their AoG equivalents, and in response the actual planets sent/will send their Types.

Unless I'm forgetting something there is nothing suggesting that they didn't believe it to be a planet though

In fact many clay tablets and such from babylon and other ancient mesopotamian civilizations prove that they did understand a decent amount of astronomy and even recorded the rises of various stars and planets including venus
