Everybody Wants to Rule the World 4: spoopy numbah edition (aka thread 13)

@Junko

"Hello. So while I was wandering through Makai I observed closely and, if you don't mind, I think I have some proposals to improve Makai even more."

The man waits to see if anyone answers, but no one does, so he puts the $5 back in his wallet. Must be his reward for a good past life.

"Hmmm… do you mind if I take a look?" I quickly look through my knowledge on demons and the Nicaea app. Then make some small modifications to the programming of the deci-bots, allowing their sound to strike frequencies that are non-physical or even non-existent in nature. [In other words, deci-bots from this facility now have SMT non-physical interaction (hitting incorporeal and non-existent beings) in their found waves.]

Paulie checks what you modified. "Ah, so you made it so it can hit more than just physical things and spirits! Thanks!" She say's happily.

[Can SMT hit non-existents? I wouldn't be surprised if they could but I can't actually remember there being non-existents in SMT]

[Yeah, if you read through the demon compendium in different games, you'll find that there's a variety of stuff from fodder to high end demons that are non-existents.]

[Ok apparently it is]

The humanoid is entirely unfazed. Aranil hears "Dis" whispered in his ear before falling over, dead.

My sword...is formless.

No edge, no guard, no clear handle...What can be seen, is a blade shrouded in mist, undulating between form.

That is because...the blade isn't complete yet. The form of my "Divinity", is far from being present. This is deliberate however, as I still hasn't decided on what form my blade should take.

So for now, it take infinite form. It would take whatever form and property I desire, and interact with all of creation as I please. More over, it's still keep it function as both a forge and a realm.

And, like the mist that will eventually clump together to become a star, this thing should also be coalescing into it proper form, some day.

Anyway, with that, my advertisment is complete for now. Hopefully people would pay attention to the light show, instead of just ignoring me by the sideline...

[At some point it just working eventually stops working as the thing itself stops functioning as a fiction]

[Okay, it's time to resort to my secret weapon, to become High 1-B as an aspect of Aka i have to perform the profane and mysterious art known as ... Anumidium, in other words I will absorb a huuuuge number of dragon souls until I reach the level of an aspect of Aka]

[Do it

I'm sure in no way will you just stop existing suddenly

There's no way that could happen]

[Do you want to go against the Elder Scrolls metaphysics? Because it would be rather unfair of you ... I begin to think that my character dislikes you ...]

[It's mainly that I'm not going to let someone become tier 1 because reasons

Or at all really

And no Nach does not count]

[I feel like someone who is playing the game should count]

That Guy has an avatar pop into existence at this new predicament

"Okay I've just got to see this sucker for myself..."

That Guy reads the soul of the thing... then just stares at a moment

"You know what? It's stupid, but it's stupid in my favor. So, how's it going Colzin?"

  • Jaw Dropping
Oh, shit. I hope we can resolve this without a fight ....

"Could you please stop attacking us ?"

I ask the humanoid orb.

Thanks to the resistance to death manipulation, the copy rises to then use the absorption of power to steal the powers of the orb.

[Resistance =/= immunity. Just saying.]

[Very funny Faruel]

The Aranil clone steals nothing, and is smacked in the concept by the orb. Even his true self feels this

[That was just a copy, I could very well create another one in less than an instant and make it return to attack

Furthermore was immunity not a no limit fallacy thing?]

[Colzin don't care and neither does the GM, who, for reference, is indeed the master of you as a player of a game.]

Eden decides to try diplomacy and hands the orb a snow globe and uses Harumitsu no Yume to erase the orb's powers in return for the snow globe

That Guy sees a small hole open on the orb in his direction. Elevator music can be heard coming from it

The orb simply erases the snow globe on contact. It seemingly kept it's powers

"..."

That Guy sits there, waiting for the elevator music to run out
