Everybody Wants to Die 2: The M E G A Thread

@Paul_Frank
”now that I have that out, I guess you can try your idea, since hopefully the powers of the sword will purifying any corruption that occurs with its energy. Also might help tthat the corruption is frozen and won’t do much to us here.”

"Okay, well, let's hope this works then."

Izumi releases the still frozen Natch into the separate dimension she and Xander were in, and then pulls out the Aquamirror and aims it at the two. Runes and magic circles appear around them, and the mirror glows slightly as it activates, and the two are fused together into one entity by the abilities of the mirror.

As I descend back down to Earth, the constructs in Nuuk are suddenly shredded to pieces and generally obliterated by ink-like tendrils that appear from their own shadows. After a certain point, I feel a rather dense cluster of detestable intentions floating across the ocean towards "Japan."

I begin moving towards that cluster.

Dante is grinning like a madman from his corner of the restaurant.

@DMUA

The beam flies true, and strangely enough, the Chaos doesn't stop it.

However.

Though the Chaos doesn't resist the beam, its effects on reality do still affect it.

The beam explodes in a million different ways as it travels through the chaos, leveling an area far larger than it ever possibly should. The western parts of Russia now have something akin to a UK sized crater in it, among the many other varying craters around in the Chaos.

@Yobo_Blue

This corruption seems to be entirely different to what the sword deals with, and as such it does not seem to be capable of doing much.

@Paul_Frank

Yes.

The fusion succeeds and... the corruption is still there.

The body unfreezes, with Xander having some degree of control, but he can feel a strange fog occurring in his mind. It doesn't seem to be progressing at the moment, but Xander feels an odd degree of dread from this. As if fundamentally, he shouldn't remain in contact with it.

... ok that's more than a little concerning.

The blast wave produced by Nil's explosion is easily strong enough to encircle the globe dozens of times, so It's easy to hear. Taking a detour, I move over towards the area the blast came from, making to avoid the distorted areas.

Nil looks at what happened in visible confusion, then walks back inside the base.

"... That did not work as planned, okay, any ideas on how to remove whatever happened to Europe?"

Nil sends something to Amakros telepathically

"Apparently a guy showed up to our moonbase and now Europe is a hellhole. I tried blasting it but that was significantly worse than I thought."

"I can make something to fix it. Also should we take the remains of humanity to a different universe we seem to have lost four continents already."

"Oh, well that wasn't what was supposed to happen. Shall we unfuse you two now?"

"It seems like the only two options are to either seal them all away and wait a while for another potential fix to arrive, or to recreate them all from scratch, neither of which really helps me save them." Izumi mutters to herself, trying to think of other solutions

Using Aleph to see half the world, Nameless uses his godlike powers to unfold minor, everyday life events. Well, most end in death and accidents, unfortunally people just don't want to go out and have fun anymore.

"This planet is starting to get real boring."

Having reached hundreds of millions of CENSORED, Nameless has basically build a underground society within Antarctica. Time to change that.

"Alright... Ze- KAHHDJWNEJWKFMSLKWKF"

Off. Nameless briefly looked into the universe with Aleph, in search of a reasonable place to stay. His head hurts and he feels like puking, but at least he found somewhere.

"Mars. The red planet."

Nameless flies upwards into the stratosphere to command all CENSORED in a concetrated spot. Tracing it with his fingers, Nameless perfectly splits said spot, like a chef cutting a cake. He then lifts his hands, like a puppeter, and the severed chunk of ice, a billion tons heavy, floats into the air. Weirdly enough, blood spills and falls from it like a waterfall.

"Bang."

And with those words, Nameless teleports said chunk, all the way up to Mars. A lot of strain was had to do this, so Nameless breaks into a heavy sweat. He desides to rest a bit in the blood-filled ice desert.

"...i wonder how i could call for a war."

Most of the mes arrive in Australia, and put the humans down.
On the way here, I figured out how my new self works, so I’ve been using the Panacea to remove air and water pollution of the areas I pass through.
After arriving, I create a body out of cell threads, and go to explain the situation to the local officials, while most of the mes here go into international waters, find an area that has minimal interference with local marine life, and begin creating a new landmass by creating cell threads and having those cells transform into other materials.
My heart arrives outside their destination, though when the Panacea notices that the optimal past lifebearing condition of the surrounding area is somehow considered even worse than the current, the mes limit it to only affect themselves and one another, not their surroundings.
They begin exploring what was once England.

“Hey isn’t that Dr. Hnein?”
“Yeah, one of us should go greet him.”
“““““I’ll go.”””””
After lots of Rock Paper Scissors, one of the mes separates from the heart, transforms into a neuron, then flies over to Dr. Hnein, waving its axon like a hand.

It takes me a moment to notice the neuron, given its small size and the fact that it could have easily come from someone's body, but the strange movement alerts me to the fact that it's not a normal cell.

"Is that you, Dr. Hope?"

Xander (no longer being really Xander, but something between him and Natch) thinks for a moment

“I feel the corruption yeah. I have an idea though, if this corruption permeates everything. Do you have any methods of purification for yourself?”

"Purification huh? I don't think so. I have methods to rewind time for a certain thing, which might allow me to set it back to a state before it was corrupted, I can also use some magic to try and separate the corruption from the essence of a creature, although that's a bit more dangerous than it sounds, and I'm not sure if it'd work either way."

"Well, it would be a multi part process, and messing up in any step could result in well, complete annihilation. Beyond that, the corruption would then have to go somewhere, I could possibly seal it away, but that'd have to be done before it affected you again."

“Yes, it is. My biologies are a bit different now. Ah, would you prefer having a head to talk to? Or a full body?” I reply to Dr. Hnein.

"Truly, it doesn't matter. Frankly, I need your help."

This feels like I'm giving it a lot more weight than it probably has in Hope's eyes.

Mobius was sleeping until he felt the earth go crazy.

"That made me angry at this rate there will be no humanity left, I will need to destroy the evil from its roots but first I need more power"

Mobius used teleportation to get close to the sun (more or less half way to Mercury) and began to repower

"I need help moving whatever humans are even left on this planet somewhere safe, preferably not on this planet. The conditions here are simply escalating at an absurd rate to the point I doubt any humans will be alive in a few weeks."

“Alright, then.......”
Xanna uses their charge on their powers. This corruption is corrupting their nature, and by extension their energy to their equipment. But it likely has not yet done so enough to register the corruption as “herself“, which means her power should still work on it, disrupting other things with a nature similar to herself, which means that her weapons and armor should indeed now weaken the corruption within her, and she thus manifests all her weapons around her and her Susanoo armor in order to maximize the effect.

“This should weaken all the corruption within me and disrupt it to the point where either it is destroyed on its own, or the combination of natural resistance and adaption will overcome it. I need you to go and pull it out of me while I do that in case this doesn’t work, capiche? Even if you have to rush and not be careful to maximize the effect, it will be fine, I have contingencies for that, just do it.“

(since power ups have a 5 turn time frame, 4 actions left)

“Alright. Do you have anywhere in mind? There’s enough of me to fairly easily move as many people as we need, and I should be able to keep them alive in most conditions. I can start sending out mes to gather the rest of the human population right away if you have a plan on how we’ll move them. If it will help, I can gather them to an island the Is are constructing near Australia, the large nation around 7000km South of Japan.”

"I wonder where Hope is." I say as a second pair arms start making a blueprint for a reality fixing device.

"Well, good luck, don't die on me."

"<Veneziara>"

With that magic activated, in addition to other abilities of hers, she could perform all of these following spells instantly

"<Dert> <Dino Jekses> <Lilia> "

Two magic circles appear, an empty one to the right, and one around Izumi and Xanna. Within the second empty circle, an object reminiscent of the magic source floating in front of Izumi's chest appeared, and a temporary connection was established between it and Xanna, attempting to split the corruption from her being and turn it into a separate entity within the other circle, at which point the connection would server automatically.

"<Zeksis>" with this spell purposely miscast, it would set Xanna and the resulting corruption entity to a different wavelength, preventing Dino Jekses from re-fusing them.

"<Beno Yeven>" with that final spell, a barrier would be erected around the newly made origin, attempting to prevent it from escaping, if everything else was successful.

"... maybe the moon? Just, anywhere that isn't here or obviously a place where they are. I think there might be some threat present on the moon, but I can deal with it. I'll need to think of a way to transport them there, if the base I know of is even large enough, unless you have one."

@Yobo_Blue and @Paul_Frank

The corruption is somewhat pushed back by Xander's power being used, but not faded outright.

The ritual however seems to have more success, Izumi is able to separate the corruption into a separate entity of its own, which seems to be a vaguely humanoid clump of "space" in the same shape as Natch.

"Okay, so I assume you need the rest of the goblins for whatever plan you had right? And I'd like to save as many as possible so..."

Izumi opens a large amount of portals and spread some magic through them in order to sense things

"So here's the plan. I sense them for you and relay locations via a telepathic connection, and you retrieve them and bring them here. Sound good?"

“250 million in North America, 420 million in South America, 1.22 billion in Africa, 2.34 billion in East and Southeast Asia, around 170 million from assorted islands and Australia. That’s around 4.3 billion people that we’re gonna need to move, or around 57% of Earth’s population before… us.” I pause, think for a moment, then continue,
“If I can remove the need for food, water, and air then we can fit them into a relatively small area. Being somewhat minimalistic, but not unhealthily so, we’d probably want to give each person six square meters of space for themselves. Then double that area to include pathways and common areas. In that case, a circle of roughly 128.2 km radius would be able to house them.”
But is the moon our best bet?
“The main issue with the moon is that it’s still fairly easy for summoned to reach. Just jump and you can be there in under 6 seconds, plenty of us can probably even attack the moon from the Earth. Grouping them together might make them easier to protect, but it could also put them in more danger, make them an easier target. It might be worth it to see if anyone has an ability that could create portals to another solar system.”

“Gotcha. We’re really on the same wavelength“
Xanna makes sure yo wack the corruption being with her flaming sword, her power and her sword being reinforced by Heavy Duty Power to deliver a charge level *wack* to the thing to kill it, and runs into the portals, guided by Izumi’s telepathy and the sight of her Sharingan, grabbing all the goblins at her top *zoom* with her speed boosting powers.
“Got that done, I have another idea though”
Xanna uses their power to splinter reality and create a splinter for every goblin, and mentally instructs Izumi what to do next

Izumi nods, and, still under the effects of Veneziara, tears open a portal to each splintered version, and fuses it with one goblin each using the Aqua Mirror.

Through each and every portal, she casts the same combination of spells as before, at the same speed if not faster, separating the fusions from the corruption inside them, and putting up Beno Yeven around the resulting entity, before closing all her portals.

Xanna in turn simply uses her sword to cut down the resulting corruption beings after turning off Susano, each splinter being able to cause damage to all enemies with the power of Attack All, essentially turning the enemies numbers against themselves with her charge empowered weaponry
(2 turns left)

Atomic restructuring... atomic restructuring... and done.

Nameless has officially remade the billion ice ton into the billion gold ton city. Literally reshaping it into El Dolrado, the city is made of gold. The fancy scenario is contrasted by CENSORED and Create Chaos making things quite hetic. But everyone likes it that way, so it's fine.

"But... we need a little fireworks."

And so, Nameless teleports to the biggest volcano in the solar system, Mount Olypus. Fancy name.

"Control Causality."

Somehow, it errupts. Badly.

Ignoring whatever Dura's last question was, Zephyr leans down, looking at the earth from the moon.

"I must say, the water looks awfully red, doesn't it? No wonder it smelled so good down there... Well, I'll be right back, and we can continue this lovely conversation."

He shoots back to the planet, splashing right into the ocean of blood. Upon contact, it begins to spin slowly... and then swirl... and before too long, he's all-but inhaling the entire ocean through his hand, turning it into a bloody whirlpool as it's rapidly absorbed into his body, empowering him more and more by the second.

Dura just... looks very concerned that the entire ocean is just... gone, in a matter of seconds, remembering a bit stuff about the blood elemental.

It's not long after until Zephyr comes back, letting out a sigh of contentment. "Ah... A lovely meal. Though I do wonder where all tha tblood came from..."

"... I have a feeling we're not going to have anywhere near that many people to find at this rate. Maybe 1% of those numbers at best. But regardless, I suggested the moon because there's already a structure built there so that entire phase of the plan is dealt with beforehand, but your point makes sense. I'll try to contact Nil or Xander about that after I deal with whatever's within the base."

With that, I race upwards towards the moon, my Archivist forming around me like a cloak.
