Eternal CRTs of The Gamer

Han's profile is also kinda outdated. He doesn't even hace healing and stat amps as a power, and his crafting skill is claimed to be low-level.

Yeah. We mostly just need to update his abilities section and put in loads of tabbers. I don't mind doing such, I just won't be able to do so until the end of this week.

I'll use this post, and update it, with some changes to Han then.

Han Jee-Han Render
I remember my so-called fellow video-game loving "Netizens" saying this. "Wouldn't it be great if life were just like a game?!" What if everyone had levels above their heads and I could find out my EXP. Points and set my status however I want? But to to tell you the truth, if you were to ask me if I'd enjoy this, I would say: No. Not at all.
~ Jee-Han's opening narratio
Summary
Han Jee-Ha was an ordinary high school student who was addicted to Korean MMORPGs. One fateful day, he suddenly gained the ability to interact with the world around him as if it were one of his beloved video games. This quickly drags him into the Abyss, the supernatural underground world that lays the foundation for modern society as we know it. Jee-Han soon finds that he'd better start grinding if he wishes to survive this tumultuous environment, lest he be hunted down for his surprisingly valuable ability.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

The Gamer:
The power bestowed to him by Gaia, it allows him, and to an extent his surroundings, to work like a videogame.

  • Gamer's Mind: Grants immunity to mental impairments, from his own emotions to mind manipulation.
  • Gamer's Body: Allows his body to work by videogame logic, allowing him to level up, better train with weights strapped to his body, have his body unchanged despite being heavily damaged (Such as punching a hole in him) and not needing to eat and sleep (Although the former makes him feel tired).
    • HP: Short for Health Points/Hit Points, it represents how much damage Han can take before dying. All damage done to his body disappear, instead decreasing his HP.
    • MP: Standing for Mana Points/Magic Points, it is the cumulative energy within him. It is akin to a "composite" energy, being composed of mana, ki, chakras and other versions of it. It can be used as a substitute for skills that would require another type of energy.
    • Consumable Items: Even items that are normal gain some supernatural properties if he (or those in a party with him) consumes them. even bread can heal health, and medicines take effect immediately.
    • Sleeping: After sleeping, all negative status effects, as well as all health and mana, wil be restored.
  • Titles: Certain feats and achievements can gain him a title, which gives him boosts depending on the achievement.
    • Apprentice Undead Slayer: After killing 50 zombies, all stats increase by 5, and AP and durability increases by 30% while fighting.
  • Inventory: A way to store his equipment, he can instantly equip clothes from within it, and anything stored is frozen in time.
  • Skill Creation: Repeating actions enough times can create a skill specific to them, acting as a passive stat amp that allows him to do them more effectively, faster and more naturally. It can be an overly specific skill like dishwashing to an overly broad one like crafting.
  • Dungeons: Whenever he creates or enters an illusory reality it becomes real, with some minor changes. For example: A normal illusory reality spawned monster cannot hurt someone, as the don't really exist. However, if Han were to enter the reality, the monster would become capable of damaging, and if enough of said "mob" are slain there is a possibility for a boss to appear.
  • Looting System: When he defeas an enemy, be it through killing them or knocking them out, he obtains mainly three things: EXP, items and money. The amount and quality of all three depends on the enemy slain. Items more oten than not reflect the enemy to an extent (A skillbook that teaches "Life Absorb" from a zombie, gaunlets that low underwater breathing from a turtle boss, etc.) tough some items often drop regardless of the type of enemy (HP/MP potions and spirit stones)
    • Skill Books: Books describing how certain abilities work can be absorbed by Han, obtaining the skill described within as long as it is a factual observation and not just theory. Depending the skills, it often has a minimum stat requirement to learn.
Skills: Physical Skills:

  • Weapon Skills:
    • Blunt Weapon Mastery: Increases skill while using blunt weapon, as well as increasing speed (by 10%) and damage (by 30%).
    • Sword Mastery: Increases skill while using swords, as well as increasing speed (by 10%) and damage (by 30%).
    • Spear Mastery: Increases skill while using spears, as well as increasing speed (by 10%) and damage (by 30%).
  • Martial Arts:
    • Yeon-Hon Principle: Can heal 50 HP and 50 MP. MP for those not in his party registers as whatever enegy they might use, such as Hwan's energy from hell. It also heals or decreases negative status effects.
    • Cheon-Bu's Three Principles: A skill that absorbs the enrgy from the world around and stores it in the user, permanently increasing their strenght, as well as alowing them to overcome limits. Increases strenght, speed, durability, memorization and healing by 10% at all times, and increases strenght, speed and durability by 30% while actively using it. Also alows the ability of infusing attacks with Ki, alowing to hit several types of Intangibles.
    • Cheon-Bu's Swordsmanship: Increases skill with sword. Sword strikes become 20% stronger, and swords can be imbued with Ki.
    • Cheon-Bu's Fist Control: Increase skill in martial arts, as wel as increasing bare handed attack power and speed by 20%.
    • Cheon-Bu's Feet Control: Passively increases speed by 25%, and increases it by 50% while concentrating Ki.
    • Cheon-Bu's External Energy Control: Alows to manipulate and absorb energy from the world around. Passively increases all stats but luck, stamina and it's Regenerationn, and HP and it's Regenerationn by 10%. Can also increase MP and stats permanently by meditating and taking in the energy of the world, tough this takes hours.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Tear Off: Increases tearing strength by 30%.
    • Physical Endurance: Reduces physical damage by 5%.
    • Critical Hit: Chance to land a critical hit, increasing damage by 30%.
    • Strong Hit: Increases damage by 50%, and increases critical damage bonus by 150%.
Magic:

  • Mana Power Attack: Creates a ball of mana fired at a max range of 10 meters. Power depends on the users inteligence.
Miscellaneous:

  • Observe: Can see the HP, MP and a brief description of an enemy.
  • Create/Escape Instant Dungeon: Allows Han to create pocket realities and escape them. The properties of the pocket reality varies:
    • Empity Dungeon: A dungeon completly empity of people except Han himself, and whoever he may chose to bring into it.
  • Crafting: Alows one to craft object more effectively. At a low level, it isn't very useful, but at higher levels it can instantly create items of incredible magical power. At the current level, Han can only make clay sculptures and other easy to make items instantly.

Key: Pre-Lolikiano Training

Looks good. Organizing them by key seems nice, but I have no clue how we'd do something like that.

Actually, nevermind. We'd just have to label the tabbers accordingly. Looks solid.

Though I guess you'll also be adding things like his mana barrier, mana shackles, spiral mana bomb, and spinning mana arrows to that key as well.

Thankies at doc, will likely recheck it since my first half venture isn't really detailed.

And also love that.

But yeah I think we can just detail out the Lvl at what season minimum or the difference? If we make multiple tabs it might get way too difficult to read for phone users too. Unless they changed that and I'm unaware of..

Also, seems like the author decided that a 15 times speedamp is now the best Han can do. So speed downgrade...

... but reaction upgraade since we're there. He could think while light was coming at him, and saying that he's toutght speed is 10 times greaater than his combat speed seems perfectly fine.

Oh no I wouldn't say like split them all into lvls. All I'm saying is when we swap to the next tab or to show a difference in season, we can say the level if it was ever stated.

His thought speed is 10x greater than combat speed.... he can think while light is heading towards him..

Clearly Han is SoL!

I really love how Han was more concerned about experience than his friend's well being.

Also, Han has a new form of madness manip. And that AoE mind manip is actually him attacking the consciousness of everything in the area, though it requires some prep.

And Sun-il's attack actually cut through space, so he should have durability negation.

He summons an imaginary monster that attacks your mind to boot. Tough, you need to observe it.

I also like how he can now justmake a magical artifact worth probably millions on the fly, just like that.

Also, about Han's mom, it's later clarified that stats can be faked in season 4, and Han even thinks about his mom at that moment.

I really hope Harem dude isn't his father....

Whoa, just realised several things.

First of all, The President attacked Hwan because of Seeker of Truth and co. They claim to have spread info about how he heals his daughter and all, so it's their fault.

Second of all, they do resist time stop. Beyond it being such a basic skill that Shin was suggesting to use it just to cheat on school tests, he also casually talks of when Han and Kwon went to talk. Something akin to "yeah, you went to talk with Kwon in the time-stop space, right?". He was at school at that time, so he would've been time stopped unless he could resist it. That, and Hwan was still conscious while the president commanded him to stop, despite him claiming to control time as well.

Third of all, Han has Gnome out passively at all times in his first key.

Fourth of a- I'll just drop the of all here... Regardless, the Mana Spiraling Bomb gives a 800% AP increase, so Han and some others backscale to 8-C sadly. On a brighter note, it means that Legion Zombie and the guardian odds and end golems scale to 8-C in dura, meaning that we are back to the linear scaling going through every tier from 8-C to High 7-C.

And fifth, the author somehow believes that Han, the one with the calculating speed of a quantum computer and memorization skills thousands of times that of a human, would have problems with math but find English easy. New weakness?

Excuse

Weakness: Math

Most relatable MC.

also that's a lot of feats damn, seriously impressed.

Where did you find all of those?? Throughout s1 ? Or more?

Depends which.

The first was season one. They first talk about losing the sorcerers stone (Han, you're a wizard... That Harry Potter joke was just itching to come out), and then mention how the witch of slaughter, her druid and black death are a problem, so Seeker of Truth sells 100 copies of what Hwan is doing to treat his daughter.

The second is season 2, yeah. I don't remember the specific chapters tough, but time-stop is a pretty basic thing if it can be used to simply cheat at tests. It's only used on-screen once by Kwon when she speaks with Han at school, but Han does use it of-screen to get home in time. Shin mentions the "cheat on the tests with time stop" the same chapter he mentions how there are fake companies to explain where Han's money is coming from, instead of getting an actual job. Somewhere between episode 30 and 50.

The thrid is mentioned multiple times, but he mentions how he gets enough MP regen to keep her on 24/7 when he decides to dump all his points into INT.

As for the last, that was season 2 me-thinks.

This all looks good.

Though I thought we had already established that his stats don't scale linearly. 8x weaker means his arrows literally shouldn't harm enemies that his spiral mana bomb can, yet this isn't the case. While weaker, they still do cause a decrease in the enemy's health bar. And Han uses his arrows far more, so the skill level for the arrows is likely higher. I think him staying at High 8-C is fine. Going with the calcs we have is a safer bet, since we can already prove with them that his stats don't scale linearly.

It has nothing to do with stats here. It increases damage by 800%, and that is pretty clear cut, stats are a whole nother beast. Not only that, but most enemies he damages normally with his attacks get one-shotted pretty badly by spirallig bomb.

If he had 800% stat amping in anything, he would have gotten many more powers through stat landmarks.

So, for Transmutation resistance.

The iron golems of Berith's are A- in grade, while Kwon by the end of season 2 is only B class (Also, she needs to get a new key for 1st season. She was only High 8-C there)

They all should be strong enough to resist it by Low 7-C and on, since Loli is S class at Low 7-C.

Han also has a passive that increases resistance to magic by 5%, but that is hardly notable.

I see. But despite what it says the feat shows something different. At least against the large golem from the black rock mage sect. Plus Han also gets a good deal stronger since the feat, so I still believe High 8-C to be fine for Han during the first season.

Where did they resist transmutation again? Like, what chapter? I know the dudes from the company didn't resist it. Though I guess this begs the question, do they resist transmutation or magic?

Which ones? The ones he one-shot he never used normal attack on, the medium sized ones tanked both and needed the wizards to be defeated, and he leveled up four times before fighting the giant one. That, and a bullet can make 1 HP damage to him, so I imagine chip damage is a thing, especially with high penetration the arrows have. Plus, his body still scales to High 8-C with Three Princliples, which he could keep on 24/7, so his fights aren't even affeced.

Episode 74. The point is that anyone above a certain level should resist it. Also, it's "mana resistance", and mana is everything at this point. It attacc, it protecc, and it has every hax under the sun. Plus, pretty sure we also scale it due to verse equal, assuming that similiar powers can be resisted.

I mean...I guess so? The golem I'm talking about is the one Loli and the druid defeated. His arrows did enough to cause him to be a target, where as his spiral mana bomb didn't achieve that. And if he leveled up that should give more credibility to the arrows being stronger, since he likely used those points to upgrade his INT. Like, end of season 1 Han likely has around baselineish High 8-C arrows, and a stronger spiral mana bomb.

Yeah, I suppose that's correct. Though there's also things like internal energy for martial artists, which can produce a variety of elemental affects. And also pave the way into these various, "Mind techniques" which seem to do various things.

What? I might be remebering wrong, but they sent the medium sized ones after him because of the spiralling bomb. The spiraling bomb that took away, like, a fourth of the things HP.

I mean, for Han that still is Mana, tough that is more his powers gimmick than anything else.

Also, mind looking the blog over, finished reading season 1, so types and such would need to be corrected, after which I would proceed to the other keys.

I could also be misremembering. But I reread the fight last week. The bomb only did 10%.

Yeah, Han's energy source is like the combination of every energy in verse.

Of course.

Yeah, lol. His power is the ability to really do anything, and bypass the time required to do so.

And the blog looks fantastic. Excellent work.

Thanks. Also, looked at the new chapter fantranslation.

Did the dude block and imaginary monster with a mana barrier?

Alright, so...

Non-corporeal ghosts, elementals, pure energy (Beyond Kwon and co., Han doesn't actually solidify curses. He can just blast them, without using special skills), and purely imaginary beings that Kwon and Sun could apparently not sense.

Wellthen, we really only need spatial to have it all.

I suppose so. Unless there's some other weird form of being Non-corporeal out there aside from being abstract.

I like that Han has two new ways to mind manip now. And that he can literally attack the consciousness of an entire area, lol.
