Soooo... it looks like Irene's Deus Sema was concluded. But Mr Schmuck was a bit impatient and removed his thread before it was. I'd remind him on his wall to restore it, but meh, guess I'd give him the right to debate instead

Pretty Sure Irene Takes this, her versatility and AP are better, and she can soul Hax Her if the situation gets too bad, I think her Deus Sema would also take the win, So I vote Irene
 
She can switch souls and bodies with her opponent, the only reason it didn't work is because her opponenet could do the same, so she could last resort switch bodies with Tohru, and she would just be dead, but even then she had huge explosions and Deus Sema, which would give her the win anyway
 
Irene mentioned that she can only switch bodies with someone who has similar abilities to her(like Wendy's "enchantments" for example). Unsure if Tohru is an equivalent to that

No, it's either because she wanted to restart a life with similar powers or, most likely, just a lie she created in order to not admit that the reason she didn't do that to Erza was because she loved her.
 
Plus Both are Dragons, so theoretically Tohru is a great substitute for her as well, however I think the AP advantage is huge here as well, I think Irene, will just outlast Tohru
 
I mean Irene's Durability is helpful too, Irene stated while Erza, could destroy a meteor, she wouldn't be able to cut her, meaning that her durability is huge, so I still give the advantage to Irene, not to mention Body Swap as a Last Ressort
 
I mean you can't just brush off fast acting Low-Mid like that. Tohru can enhance her own strength and disability, and how's Irene going to fair against an opponent she can't see, hear, or smell?

Also should be mentioned that Irene has great physical/magic resistance, which should help her quite a lot here.
 
Not to mention Irene's Dragon Element is likely Fire, the one time we saw her breath Attack, it was Fire, so she likely has Fire Resistance as well, which means Tohru's Fire would be useless
 
Ehhhh, I'm unsure about Irene having fire element/resistance. Her element is a "sage dragon" so we have no idea what her element really is. So far her roars are just energy blasts
 
Isn't a meteor like prime portal bait? She'd have time to react and everything.
 
You know, when I made this thread I figured loltransmute and lolmemory are their trump cards, given both of them have no resistance but also don't use said hax from the start. Honestly forgot about Tohru's Perception Blocking and Irene's Soul Transfer

I should mention Irene's magic has dragon-slaying properties, shouldn't I?
 
Yeah I was saying that dealing with meteors when you can make portals should be easy.
 
Irene has very strong resistance, to the point that the High 6-C attack erza used to destroy the Meteor wouldn't even affect Irene.

Also yeah, Dragon slayer magic is basically dragon magic in FT, so a dragon should be capable of thathave the same DS properties. Though all that does is helps her bypass Tohru's nonexistent magical/physical resistance.

Irene's strongest attack is her meteor. And yet her durability is above that Due to being a dragon.

I'll try explaining it this way:

- Irene's Meteor is 200+ gigatons and is her strongest attack

- Erza's PoF attack = Irene's Meteor = 200+ gigatons

- Irene can tank Erza's PoF 200+ gigaton attack without any problem, since being a dragon gives her magic resistance.

- When Wendy enchated Erza's 200+ gigaton attack with dragon slayer magic, it heavily wounded irene due to dragon slaying properties which bypassed Irene's resistance.

Conclusion:

Irene's Durability is 200+ gigaton normally, and higher with her Dragon resistances.
 
Dragon Slayer Properties would allow her to do more damage to Tohru, but she doesn't really do Dragon slayer attacks much, but she can if she wanted to, especially if her opponent was a Dragon
 
The only thing about dragon slaying magic on her profile says nothing much is known about it. It doesn't say anything about doing more damage to dragons like it says on, for example, Natsu's page.

The problem is, Dragon Slayer magic IS Dragon magic. It was explained to use multiple times. That's also how dragons fight each other, while nobody else can.
