Does Nonexistence Erasure work on tangible beings?

Yes, definitely. But if your here about KH then I don't really know since it might just be something inherent to the setting when dealing with Heartless.
 
In KH it's a verse mechanic, yes, Nobodies fade from existence if their body is damaged too much.

This doesn't extend to your "average" being, of course, hence why it only works on those.
