Discord ripping a portal in the fabric of reality with his claws to send Tree Hugger to another dimension. Note he doesn't create the dimension, he just makes the portal. (Technically, would be called a different universe? But universes and dimensions might have a different meaning in this show's canon or they just misused the word dimension but if some one would explain that I'll give you a cookie)
Also Discord's home is in a place called Chaosville. It's theorized that this place is a pocket dimension, which he obviously would have made, but can also be accessed by ponies from Equestria .
Opening portals to other dimensions [and creating pocket dimensions] could give Discord a higher teir if it isn't considered hax. I'm genuinely concerned why this was never mentioned on this page if there's a real reason as to why this ability is overlooked/excluded.
