Yes, he'd know anything Diavolo would know before he'd do it, so he could pretty much counter anything thrown his way, plus since he can detect Ghosts he may even be able to see King Crimson so that'd help too.

Should be noted that Diavolo's time erasure resists precognition, as the things Caleb sees may have happened in erased time, where Diavolo can ignore precognition and move the way he likes.

The main thing that gave Dio an advantage in that thread was his vampire Regenerationn and stamina, timestop was hardcountered by time erase, it's just that Diavolo needed to time erase a ton of times to hope to win while Dio only needed a single timestop to end it..

It was the time stop and the resilience. If DIO couldn't survive the first few donuts, he'd be unable to get a Time Stop off.

TL;DR Diavolo has better precog and can see the future more efficiently. Diavolo sees it better and erases, then causing the Nameless One's wincons of time manip to be thrown out of the window and he gets donuted.
