This would be awesome but unfortunately 99% of metal mascots don't really get alot of lore and feats, the only ones I can remember (Aside from Vic, Eddie and the Guy) are Hammerfall's Hector and Exodus' Organist (Who have their own comics) and Voivod's Korgull, whose lore and feats are told throughout their albums

Imagine if he was just Lightning McQueen but a Jojo? that'll be really dark tbh. That said the entire family has pretty much been a giant F ever since part 1 when a certain hater got lucky by getting adopted into the Jojo family and decided one the first things he would do is abuse and then kill the family pet... tsk!
 
Oh, and there was also that cyborg from the Key by Nocturnus who killed Jesus according to the album but to get him any actual feats would require powerscaling Jesus, so I wouldn't really want him on the show, lol

Nope, unfortunately, me and my friend were planning to make a profile for Vic but to do this we needed to buy the comics and I didn't want to buy them because they were ******* EXPENSIVE and I don't exactly feel like giving Dave any money, lol, considering the shit he says.
Exodus and Hammerfall comics are also in this case but iirc they were either sold out or they are just as expensive as the Megadeth comics.
I can definetly try making a Korgull profile tho, his feats are exclusively described in the lyrics, there's a whole album (Dimension Hatröss, btw ******* awesome album, I recommend it to everyone on this thread) about him making a micro-universe in his lab and then he gets pissed about the universe he created and ends up destroying it.

Oh, btw, there's another comic about Vic titled "Cryptic Writings of Megadeth", this comic isn't helpful at all lmao, it gives Vic a backstory (He was a normal guy living in medieval times who got brutally murdered and he turned into an asshole skeleton) but other than that it doesn't really have to do anything with Vic, the rest of the comic is just random characters singing Megadeth songs and killing each other, the comic ******* sucks, the art is awful, Vic rarely appears in the comic and I feel like I was clickbaited, 0/10, ******* disgusting.

Because Jiren vs Atrocitus will be the same formula. Backstory on Jiren, scaling to 13 Universes and shockwaves.

Then the DC dude will win because of the bigger DC Universe and subsequntly better speed, DBZ fans will then rage saying how Death Battle hates Dragon Ball etc.

Not to mention how Jiren is just a boring character in general. But I understand it's all about opinion.
 
Gohan, Piccolo, Cell & Frieza are the "musts" that are left.

But I think DB prefers other choices. As mentioned while back, Team Rocket hard carries Pilaf Gang to get in. And maybe for next season Bardock vs Omniman. Or hell, Vegito vs Omegamon in future too.

You could triple all the DBZ fights in DB and it would still be less than all Marvel DBs lol

I guess on that, how many verses are overused to you? Marvel & DC are mostly it for me. DBZ is weird cause its mainly last season overloading it with Ballz. Otherwise I dont think verses have been overused outside the obvious 2.

sure, Ya can argue mainstream shit mainly anime but none really fits the bill

also to argue Dragon Ball being overused is laughable even factoring last season we had one DB episode in the first half and two in the second and were spaced out well

folks forget DB took S3 and S6 off two seasons without DB
 
I do like how DBZ is overused by having 3 eps per season but comics duo keep having same issue and everyone forgot.

Sure, its much less than S7, but S7 was so overused that people dont think comics duo arent overused.

The last time Marvel & DC had less than 3 eps per year was 2014 jfc lol

But giving DB credit, last season had record new verse introduction in years with 16. S1 & S2 are only ones to introduce more.

Agreed while Moro was kinda a wasted villain that got infected by Shonen tropes and I kinda forgot about Granolah they were at least more intresting that the literal grey brick wall of a character known as Jiren (who I keep forgetting is from DBS).

It's kinda funny Dragon Ball has to bring back older characters for those sweet nostalgia dollars (Broly, Frieza, Cell, etc) yet when they actually create a new character with intresting P&A they either throw them away or kill them off (E.g Hit and Moro).

Seeing Frieza with yet another new form killing off Big Gas is a good allegory at the current "creativity" of the franchise now.
