Oh yeah, took a look at DBX Adam vs Apoc and frankly, if what they teased is a good indicator, Apoc should be way more versatile, esp. if Adam really is just a Shazam.

But lmao Apoc aint beating Adam. Apparently he handled JL at once and like tickled the Spectre, he is gonna get the Biggatons and one shot.

Taking on the Justice League unfortunately doesn't really mean much when Deathstroke can do the same thing, and Superman has also oneshot Black Adam before because they can't keep their story straight on whether
Shazam is comparable to supes or not

The real question is whether they will give Apocalypse Celestial scaling as his armour is the same as Celestial armour and the only way Thor was able to damage through it was specifically enchanting Jarnbjorn to do that, so it all hinges on if they think Black Adam scales to Hellbat/Darkseid since they put it as Celestials=Darkseid

Normally consistency would be issue but this is S9 of Death Battle.

Yeaaah Darkseid Avatar = Celestial kinda seals the deal. If they allow Celestial scaling fully, it would still only be up to Hellbat. No way they'd let Adam be weaker than Hellbat, or even that close, Adam would toast Hellbat and hence Apoc in DB.

I also remember how Wanda vs Zatanna went in here and in DB. Not feeling Apoc win atm.

Wow okay, so basically as it is always They are all out of context (also Apocalypse has Prof X level Telepathy, so that gives him an extra wincon there)

if the second has frozen those immune to freezing, the second's freezing would be layered in potency, so the first wouldn't be able to resist, yeah.

yeahhhhhh Bond's movements here look very very rough or Gmod-esque, I'm hoping everything after this is much better. This sneak peak only really gave us setup, not any of the actual fighting.

Please don't **** this up, this is like, the one match all season besides HercKong that I've been genuinely excited for.
 
Unrelated to BondWick, but looking at Apocalypse and Black Adam, it ENTIRELY depends on where they put Black Adam in stats, as Apoc has him beat in every single other category.
Apocalypse: Better Regen (At least Low-High likely higher), Resurrections, Possession, deconstruction, life manipulation (can drain life and transfer life), stat amp, intangibility, more experience, telepathy and telekinesis close to X-Man, resistance to electricity (literally tanks lightning from TWO Thors), energy absorption (specifically can absorb kinetic energy and likely other forms of energy as well to boost his powers), BFR, skilled sorcerer in his own right, illusions, duplication, and can create forcefields stronger than himself. Black Adam has an exploitable weakness to lose his powers, and if he does for even a second the fight is over.

Black Adam: possibly better physicals, can possibly see through Apocalypse's illusions, might be able to resist the possession (but he might also lose out because of Apocalypse's own crazy willpower) and MIGHT be able to Timetravel (though it seems completely out of character and not-combat applicable).

So only way Black Adam wins is if they make him ungodly faster and stronger (which knowing DB is still very likely)
