They stated that Raiden's dura neg wouldn't work on Excalibur due to Excalibur being far more durable, and because the Murasame had difficulty cutting through much more durable opponents like Armstrong.

However this is ignoring the context that the reason Armstrong's nanomachines could withstand Raiden's dura neg is because of Armstrong having Physics manipulation. It's hax and not durability.

And afaik, Exclibur doesn't have physics manipulation
Oh yeah, I forgot that Armstrong straight up noped the internal physics of Metal Gear. I'd say that's ridiculous but infinite ammo bandana goes brr so.

Also, IIRC, Raiden was cutting through Armstrong cleanly every time he swung, the issue was that his nanomachines kept regenerating all the cuts, we see that they can repair severed limbs from Sam's fight with him, so healing thin slices should be even faster and easier. The reason Raiden beat him was because he ran the clock on Armstrong's nanomachines, I believe it was even said that Sam could have beaten Armstrong the same way if he hadn't been so impatient and tried to beat him quickly.

Not quite Physics Manipulation, just nanomachine powered regen. Although he did use that against Raiden's HF blade, it wasn't the reason he resisted further attacks.

Metal Gear may now be 2-1 in terms of win loss ratio, but they are 3-0 in terms of getting great animations, which honestly is more important

You took too much copium.

And what is worse: sometimes potential DC herald/skyfather killers are swayed towards rolstomping other characters.
Even then we still have Yuuki Terumi vs Thaal Sinestro, Raidou Kuzunoha XIV vs John Constantine (and hopefully) Simon the Digger vs Kyle Rayner.

The new GOW game drops this year, so we may see Kratos coming back
The new Pokémon game drops this year (and one is already out), and when we may see Pokémon characters coming.

Oh the new Xenoblade game drops this year (in fact likely this month), so we should see a fight with a Xenoblade Chronicles character coming.

Can we talk about just how shit Ripper Mode Raiden's dialogue is?

They interpret the form as a social darwinist like Armstrong, when Ripper Mode is pretty much just Raiden embracing the fact that he likes killing.
Yeah, that part felt really out of place. Ripper Mode is just bloodlust. There was literally a whole game where Raiden fought against Armstrong's ideals.

Zamasu vs Gorr
Is it somewhere in between Thor vs Vegeta and hilk vs Broly? Can be interesting.
Unfortunately it's a massive stomp for Gorr, it took 3 Thors including King Thor to take him down the first time, and the second time Loki had to pull some crazy shenanigans to stop him because he became the necroverse, add the fact that he can basically make an infinite army of herald-skyfather tier Minions and has a shit ton of Hax, and his powers can seemingly negate immortality and his powers passively rise the more he uses them and Zamasu is hard screwed, even as infinite Zamasu

It'd still be a fun as hell fight tho, so I'm all for it and it's likely the only fight that might bring Zamasu "back" for DB

Infinity Ultron is popular enough (As a character and as a macthup) to fight Zamasu.

They have already said it, whether you believe in it, but its cause Tencent was fine that Exalibur could lose and die or that he would kill his opponent. Capcom didnt like that.
Please identify the source where the exact firm's name was spelt out.

Superman vs PPG and associated ****
My sensors indicated that I don't give a shit.

Was it explained in lore how Raiden with the new red sword he was able to cut Armstrong? Since for why he couldnt earlier its explained
I think it was because Murasama was just a way better HF blade than the one Raiden used prior. The more well-made a sword is, the stronger it will be when it's made into a HF blade. Raiden's HF Blade was just a standard issue, Sam's HF Blade was a 16th century katana passed down through his family line.

Well in context of the video where they mentioned they had Capcom reach out to them two different times, I did presume Chad saying a company didnt like that killing their character is a possibility, but I guess it could have also meant someone else?

Then this means Sam blade has physics manip to negate Armstrongs?

Raiden using the standard HF blade was able to beat Sam who was using the Murasama. But then Raiden got his blade shattered against Armstrong, but could use Murasama to beat him.

The HF blade Raiden had could in fact hurt Armstrong as well, it was just putting out way less damage. By that logic, you could argue the HF blade also has physics manipulation to negate Armstrong. Don't forget that Raiden can also hurt him just by punching him, again, way less damage than the Murasama, but still hitting him.

In conclusion, I honestly have no idea. Make of it what you will.

I think the DB is an overall 7/10.

The track, animation and voice acting were great, sure the fight was no Wolverine Vs Raiden, but it doesn't need to be. It was enjoyable at the very least, I liked Wiz and Broomstick interfering even though others didn't. The part where Raiden went into ripper mode was kinda weird.

Analysis was eh. I already listed my complaints with it. But to summarise, I think they got the HF blade Dura neg thing wrong and also downplayed Raiden's speed.

Not my my ideal return for Raiden (I prefer A2 Vs Raiden tbh)

But overall, I enjoyed this bonus format and would like to see more, but with hopefully better analysis

Reminds everyone of another overdue matchup another time... huh...

Fun fact: Players of "Warframe" (claimed to be one of the more praised "free" games today) often call themselves "interstellar hamsters", which stems from a "myth": the game developer Digital Extremes is said to use hamsters to power servers.
